My waiting room. I had a long time to connect with this space.
    Addy G.

I was referred to Dr. Brad Eli by my dentist for my chronic TMJ discomfort. I was able to make an appointment over the phone, easily and continued to receive appointment reminders via phone calls & voicemails, text messages, and e-mails asking for my confirmation. I also received a call saying the doctor could not come in on my scheduled day and asking if I could reschedule. I accommodated them and then, again had to go through the process of confirming on all platforms. They also sent me a packet via mail to fill out to save time when I arrived. I showed up on my appointment day and was happy to get the perfect parking spot, right out front. I was welcomed kindly by Kay who took my photo, collected my pre-filled information, and took copies of my insurance and id card. I waited maybe 10 minutes before I was called in. At that point, I met Dawn who was lovely and took my stats and listened to the reasons that brought me there and my TMJ journey so far. She was kind enough to bring me water. I was told there was construction throughout the office but I didn't notice any. I waited in that office for nearly 45 minutes before the doctor came in. When the doctor came in and we discussed my issues. After a long conversation, we were able to pinpoint the daily activities and habits that were irritating my jaw. I told him I had a mouth piece I wore to bed to prevent teeth grinding but only for the top and was interested in getting a bottom one. He took my top one and adjusted it and had Dawn take impressions for my lower half. At this point it had been 2 hours and I had to let the doctor know I needed to leave. Dawn and Kay assured me they would call my insurance and crunch some numbers to let me know how much the bottom would be. An hour later, I received a call from Kay letting me know it would cost $1,300 for my bottom piece. Like a down payment for a car $1,300? I paid $250 (in payments) for my top one. I told them I couldn't afford that and they said Botox would also be an option. I responded by saying yes let's see how much that costs. I haven't heard back. I'm hoping I do because the TMJ is still and has been for a while an issue.

This is the chemical that the doctor got in my mouth!!!

My stress level was also very high. Mieko has done acupuncture to relax the nervous system and then to heal the arms. She also worked on my back and shoulders. To top that, she gave me possibly the best massage I ever got on my back and shoulders. Wow. Within 1 session my pain was down 80% and I was able to work again. After the second session the pain went away completely. Amazing. I now go to Meiko once a week for as long as my work load is high to be able to support my body with this additional load. Mieko is very gentle and caring individual. She is passionate about helping people and she is very knowledgeable. Her acupuncture and massage combination is unique and it's a winning combination. You leave there feeling relaxed and revitalized. Can't thank Mieko enough for her good work. Give her a try, you will not regret it.

She's the most open, warm and caring hearted person I've ever met. You will know what I mean when you meet her. Definite 5 stars! You will not regret going to her but I will say that she's ruined me because I can't be satisfied getting a massage anywhere else now. No other masseuse can do the job...must be the combine magic of acupuncture and massage. She's got some seriously strong hands but she's gentle where I need it also!

Worse yet, you may not find out they canceled your appointment until you show up. They mostly won't answer phones but communicate w/texts. Dr. Sachi is brilliant and the best doctor there. She is very very skilled and the best I've ever been to with trigger point injections and Botox. Her treatments worked beautifully for me and I was so happy to feel so much better. But alas whoever manages this place yanked the rug out from underneath this amazing care plan several times over and they won't even let you pay privately due to insurance contracts. Pros: Dr. Sachi works there and is the best ever at TMJ, headaches, trigger point treatment. Truly a great doctor and very gifted. Cons: Very disorganized management. Insurance issues and much confusion so at any time your appointment may be cancelled. If you go there make sure and start to research a plan "B". Ask your doctor, friends, co-workers, dentist who else is around in the specialty so you have a back up plan in place as there is no warning when your treatment may be halted.

This wouldn't be so bad if she was just taking money from patients and prescribing them placebos, but many of the things she does not only have the potential of not helping, but also causing harm. Perhaps worst of all is that she simply doesn't seem to understand the scientific reasoning behind a lot of the therapies she prescribes, only their marketing. I took my mom to Dr. Haas for an ozone injection into her shoulder for an injury, soon after which my mother developed Parkinson's. When I researched ozone, I found about half of sources suggested it was a neurotoxin and not neuroprotective, but the doctor wasn't aware of any of this. I feel a lot of regret that trusting Dr. Haas with my mother's care may have been what lead to Dr. Haas causing her Parkinson's. Similarly, she recommended "exosomes" to my mother, an unproven theoretical stem cell derivative, and my mom ended up developing breast cancer. Exosomes have been linked to the spread of cancer and are a completely unproven alternative therapy that it is currently illegal to administer. Probably the last straw was when she started sending out anti-vaxxer e-mails and trying to treat COVID with some other nonsense alternative therapies (light therapy. I will alwys regret bringing my mother to this doctor as I believe it stared the sequence of events that led to her disability and early death. Dr. Haas is a well intentioned but extremely dangerous doctor and should be avoided at all costs. The first principle of medicine is to do no harm. Dr. Kori Haas has left this behind a long time ago.
