Friendly wait staff. Located inside the embassy suites hotel. Nice setting for a quiet meal. Good variety of options. Kids menu available but wasn't able to get a picture of it. Prime was delicious but only available in limited quantities so order early if possible. Pizza was delicious! Good drink menu. Knowledgeable bartenders.

Good food here! I came with friend to eat dinner around 8pm. No customers and quite but lady nicely greeted us. We ordered Smoked Prime Rib Dip & Rainier Burger. You can chose Salad, fries, or fruits. Service guy was so nice and good to taking care us. It's a inside the embassy suites Bellevue.

Even though the service was excellent I cannot at the same thing for the food! I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection then ruined by the saltiest grossest butter syrup stuff. The whole plate drenched in it. He accidentally overheard me say it and promptly brought out another plate of the mash potatoes which was a nice gesture but didn't over compensate for the rest of it. The chocolate cake was too rich and didn't get eaten. Gotta work on pairing that with something or toning it down some. The crab cakes again super salty overall way overpriced for the food taste. Nice presentation though and 5 stars for a waiter

Arrived at about 9:45p on 4/15 after working a long day. It was quiet but still had a few table and a couple people at the bar. Sometimes I have the hardest time deciding what I want to drink so I asked for the drink menu however; the bartender had one but didn't want to bother bringing me one because apparently they didn't have the ingredients to make them... ???? ... I went with a simple Manhattan and husband had a beer. We did order a pizza that was way bigger then expected, tasted delicious and well priced! We'll be back, hopefully next time their bartender will feel up to doing what they are paid to do and I can see the drink menu...

This restaurant is located right inside the Embassy Suites hotel and from the looks of it, it could really use a remodeling. I'm not sure when was the last time it was remodeled if ever, but it still looks as it was something from the 1980's. The hotel itself is going through a major remodeling so hopefully they will do something with the restaurant itself later on. We came here as a small group to sample their dinner menu since my parents wanted to try the food before our wedding here. I ordered the strip loin which was cooked to a nice medium rare and was surprised again by how big the servings are. I knew right from the beginning I wouldn't be able to finish my meal and would have to doggy bag it again like the last time. The steak was very tasty with the Bearnaise sauce and peppercorn topping. The two sides of red potatoes and green beans were seasoned great too. The restaurant felt very empty during dinner time here except for a couple parties who came at the end of our meal. It just doesn't have that inviting feel to it and looks old. I do hope they do a remodeling here at the restaurant because the food here is really good the two times I have been here with nice big servings and the service too has been very good.

Excellent service and food. Mushroom ravioli, chicken penne with pesto cream sauce, and chicken enchilada soup were all amazing. Highly recommend it

Good food but bad attitude staff. I looked for a nice place to take my in-law for lunch. She likes good seating and less crowded place, so Cascade grills seem to be a perfect place for her. Most of the restaurant in South Bellevue is packed by office crowded at lunch time, but this one is very quiet. The waitress smile a lot, but the way she talks is strange. I asked about parking and menu, but she answered in annoy&moody weird way. My in law is 84 years old and she is wearing a hearing aid. The waitress rushed her during she tried to pick the side dish. My in-law misheard the word fries with rice and the waitress raised her voice (in a bad tone, not yelling but we both were shocked by her voice). I am Asian and my in-law is white, but by both world standards, we both can feel that the staff got really annoyed. My in law left the place with the feeling that the staff did not like her. The staff probably realized that I got upset. She tried to fix the service by filling up water and talking in a nicer tone to us. I did not complain or anything but I don't think I will go back very soon. Too bad I really want to like this place because the food is good, the price is reasonable for a hotel restaurant, and having a peaceful place to eat lunch is rare in Factoria.

Great restaurant. Beautifully decorated, very fast and friendly service. The tortilla soup (when available) is magnificent. The grilled salmon entree had probably the lost generous serving of salmon I've seen in an entree, and the flavor, the preparation, and the presentation did not disappoint. Finally, I had the brownie for dessert. Do yourself a favor and substitute chocolate ice cream for the vanilla. It's like a taste of heaven before you die of a heart attack from its richness and go to hell.

    Crab melt was quite yummy

In particular, the three amazing, high-quality cheeses they put on their pepperoni pizza is like a symphony in your mouth. I would just avoid adding their olives, which are green, not black, and possibly the saltiest thing I have ever had in my mouth. I doubt a teaspoon of salt would taste much saltier. After choking down one I did not eat any of the others. Why they don't offer high quality black olives, which do so much for pepperoni pizza IMO, is a head-scratcher for me. Though they brew their beer there, and they always have a stout or porter for me--I like to eat my beer with a knife and fork--I've never found it out of the ordinary. A can of Irish Death would be better. It's the pizza I go there for. But though it is my favorite place by far to have pizza, I have a bone to pick about one of the servers (most of their servers are fine): As a former fine dining restaurant server and shift manager, I'm familiar with the Washington state law that allows restaurant patrons to take partially consumed bottles of wine home with them in their cars if (a) it is resealed with its cork, and (b) they keep it in the trunk or other cargo area where humans don't normally sit. And don't touch it until they're parked at home. I'm a light drinker, and one time I only drank about half a bottle of beer. I think it might have been a large bottle, I'm not sure. Wondering if the rule I knew so well for wine might apply to beer bottles too, I asked the server if it was possible to take it home. I supposed that the main issue might be whether they had a way to seal it, since the cap was no longer good for that. He didn't know, and said he'd find out. When he returned, he said no, and acted like it was the dumbest question anyone in the universe had ever asked, or ever could ask. I had a flashback of Dixie's BBQ on Northup way by I-405 (long closed), where surly sarcasm from knuckle-dragging employees was basically a brand. Curious, today I asked Google for help. I learned that the reason it's possible with wine is because there is a special carve-out in Washington state law just for wine. The carve-out does not apply to any other type of alcohol. So it doesn't matter if you can find a way to reseal the beer bottle. Because the carve-out is only for wine, not beer. I doubt that nuance is widely known. I think it's a reasonable question. As a former server, I have a piece of advice for that server: If you ask a question of a coworker, and they answer with sarcasm, you don't pass that sarcasm on to the customer when you pass on the answer. That's bad service. In my 6 years in restaurants, I was asked my share of dumb questions. But I would never have dreamed of letting on that I thought the question was dumb. Because that's an important part of what good service is. But again, most of the servers there are fine.

Had this been a regular food cart (non paleo), I would have given this two/three stars. Portions were small, and my vegan curry lacked a lot of spices, which made the curry very bland. Perhaps my tastebuds need to adjust to the paleo lifestyle to appreciate the cart. But given that all the food from this cart is made for people with very specific dietary restrictions, I see the allure to it. All of their food adheres to the paleo lifestyle such as free range chicken, grass fed beef, local, organic, etc. And they list where all they get all their ingredients too! I do wish there were more things on the menu. Their rotating menu is pretty limited and it seems like they favor a lot of pork. This could be a drawback for certain people, like Paleo Muslims for example. A good suggestion is to have more variety. I'll give them one thing - the pork lettuce wraps (pork carnitas) smelled amazing.

The last couple of weeks, Outside the Box has made a stop on the Microsoft campus so I decided to try this truck for the first time. I don't follow the Paleo diet, but that doesn't mean it won't appeal to those who don't. Except if you are a vegetarian/vegan/pescetarian since many of the offerings here include meat. Though there are a couple items that don't. For those who are unfamiliar with the Paleo diet, it basically means that only ingredients available during the hunter-gatherer era of humanity are eaten. So no grains and dairy are used. Great for those who don't like eating highly processed foods. So for someone like me so ingrained to eating carbs with my meal, this is a diet that would seem difficult to adjust to. The offerings here are a little more pricey than other trucks. A couple are over the $10 price point which may seem a bit more than people are willing to pay for what is basically a work lunch. This can be attributed to the ingredients used as meat jacks up the price of meals. I tried out the pork carnitas ($7.99) which is pulled pork on top of pieces of lettuce with pico de gallo on the side. I liked it as it was a refreshing change in the food you can find elsewhere on campus. The taste of the food though stays with you. I don't know if it was from the pico de gallo or onions, but it stays with you for hours after. I think OTB is a promising truck. There is going to be a crowd of customers at MS as the food here appeals to the fitness/CrossFit crowd. But to draw in the regular eater I think it would be good add an additional item or two under the $10 threshold as there are already numerous economical dining options nearby. Keeping the price competitive will help encourage the unfamiliar diner to try out a Paleo meal for a change.
