This was my first time staying at DoubleTree Suites by Hilton in Southcenter area. The place is…read morevery close to SouthCenter mall area and just 10 min drive to the airport, so it is quite convenient if you are there to stay close tk SEATAC airport. They do offer free airport shuttles 24/7 too..so it is quite convenient. The hotel is definitely on a dated condition, but the staff from shuttle drivers and restaurant servers to cleaners and receptionists were all very hospitable. The most basic room that I got (King Room suite) was actually quite big, with a separate living room and bedroom, and was priced quite reasonably, given my trip was so sudden and I only made a reservatiom 3 days in advance of my arrival. I had a quick errand to complete and landed in Seattle at 2am in the morning due to flight delay. The staff worked like a champ and let me check out late til 2pm so I had time to finish my errand in the morning, come back to take a shower, nap and head out back to Seatac to take a flight back home that same evening. I was really grateful to have a relaxing and reliable place with all the necessary services in one place to stay. Thank you for a wonderdul stay and I definitely look forward to another stay on the future at this hotel when I am in Seatle again.

i have to give them a 5 star due to how kindly and patiently they handled my situation, i ended up…read morenot being able to make my stay due to a medical emergency i had made my booking through priceline and ended up having to cancel, and both the hotel and priceline were kind enough to issue a refund, for which i'm forever grateful. the problem was that via priceline there were actually 2 separate booking companies involved (agoda and webbed) and while agoda were kind enough to agree to the refund, webbed was making it very difficult and not communicating with the hotel etc. there were many many calls and correspondence between the three cooperating parties but again, webbed making it difficult, but the entire time everyone at the hotel from the front desk to management was so kind and patient. can't thank them enough! next time i'm in the area, larkspur landing will absolutely be my #1 choice to stay at!

The room included a fridge and although no microwave, a microwave is available in the lobby at all times. I felt very safe staying here while utilizing a very large company truck. The front desk would lock the lobby late at night and if they were concerned about safety, but they were always there at the desk available to let me in when I needed. The staff was outstanding, 6 out of 5 stars! Jersey was wonderful and so patient when setting up mine and my co-workers reservation (that was a bit complicated). Trinh was the staff that was often there during our stay in the mornings and she was so helpful in processing important paperwork for our business trip to ensuring our housekeeping needs were met daily. Finally, the location was perfect since our work was based near the SEATAC airport, but also only a short drive to Downtown Seattle. We were a quick 15 minute drive to the SEATAC airport or Downtown Seattle in this location (dependent on traffic, going to the airport we were often traveling in the opposite direction of traffic for our work schedule). Some great options for food just a short walk away from the Georgetown Inn, and also the Georgetown Brewery was only a short 10 minute walk away as well! Highly recommend staying here!
