There is a beautiful private deck looking straight out on the Puget Sound for the best sunset watching in all of the PNW. Not to mention the perfectly placed private jacuzzi to make for a perfect evening. The bed is luxurious & the entire space was immaculate. I'm super picky about cleanliness & this place did not disappoint. Breakfast is not made for you, however that is advertised before you book so we didn't have a problem with it. There were fresh pastries & fruit in the morning, as well as eggs, milk, and pancake mix already stocked upon arrival. The pancake mix, which is homemade by the innkeepers, is to die for. The innkeepers were extremely knowledgeable when it came to suggestions for outings, eateries, and local day trips. They really made our trip unforgettable. We cannot wait to not only return to the Pacific Northwest, but stay many more nights to come in Dave & Eileen's beautiful getaway!

The hosts were positively wonderful, and it was very nice to have the breakfast part of "bed & breakfast" mean that breakfast is brought to you in this private cottage, not sitting around the table with strangers. Even though it's out of my usual price range (currently $165-$220, their cost, not my price range), it was definitely worth the lower end of that range. The website is very detailed and has many pictures, too.

The breakfast is perfect if you want something light. Bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, assorted pastries, breads and cereals. You can make your own blueberry or regular waffles and assorted juices and coffee. This also was the cheapest hotel in the area. Free parking and close the freeway. Would definitely stay here again.

I finally thought I'd found a shelter. This motel said last night I could leave at 1. That was when I'd be ready. In my frantic rush to pack, I lost my id. Drivers liscence. They wouldn't let me look. I coulda easily looked while they cleaned. I managed Hyatt hotels. I know the biz. So, I was frantically searching for my id. It gets better- They told me they'd call the police if I didn't get off the property. So, I had to rush out. I even knocked into the door in the way out. I have no id. So-they kicked me out. I help train police personnel on being kind empathetic. Literally kicked me when I'm down. It's too unbelievable. The callousness. I should have gone to a shelter. Whatever you do, don't think for one second they care. They are "family owned". So much for that. Couldn't send someone to fix air. The woman from the Dakota's didn't believe that the wall unit was broken, it was. Negative 100 stars. The one hour of ire hurt me from this point forward. Telling a woman running from abuse that you will call the police on HER. Boycott. Call. I'm running from my husband. I guess he have to call to get my id. If it's there. They wouldn't let me stay and look. Nice.

When we toured the unit, she was very knowledgeable about the property and its history, and answered all my questions regarding the rental terms and application process. Katie was extremely kind, personable, and professional, and gave me the strong sense that she and the company she represents are trustworthy and sincere. The townhome was great, but unfortunately, another applicant applied for the unit the night before we met, so the timing didn't work out. After we toured the property, Katie was kind enough to show me another home nearby, and went above and beyond, by searching for other properties in the area managed by Maple Leaf. I decided to not move at this time, but am grateful for all of Katie's help and hope to work with her and Maple Leaf Property Management in the future.

Horrible experience! ZERO stars. I would never rent with them again. Maple Leaf is the property…read moremanagement equivalent of predatory house flippers. When I moved in I told them there was a hole in the outside wall, near the kitchen window. For the next 1.5 years I told them and they had their own inspectors take pictures of it. Despite this, they only made a move to fix it once I reported them to the city. The whole time I lived there I was told that all of my things molding was my fault (including 2 beds!). I was told to leave my cupboard doors and drawers open to prevent mildew in the kitchen. The dehumidifier I requested would fill up at the end of each day. When they finally opened the wall to fix the hole, there was black/wet insulation and they had to replace half of the kitchen's 2x4's, and the workers found another hole with earth worms living in the kitchen under the dishwasher. Despite having 5 different workers out to deal with the hole and earth worms, this was never fixed by the time I moved out. And then, 2 weeks before I moved out there was water dripping out of the bathroom ceiling fan. They opened it up to find a leak that had to be going on for at least a year because the insulation was again black and the wood was moldy. They did not fix this before I moved out. I just had to live with a hole in the ceiling above the shower... Then they illegally withheld $750 from my deposit. They didn't follow the law by detailing the reasons for withholding this amount. They simply printed out a screenshot of text messages with their handyman giving an estimate on two projects. Thankfully I was able to recover the deposit since they do not know the law or how to do their jobs. There is so much more, but this should suffice as a warning. Lastly, their own employees bad mouth each other. Highly unprofessional and shows the do not even follow basic respect standards. Disgusting, gaslighting, lying, and incompetent company. Steer clear!

I would not recommend renting from Seattle Vacation Home under any circumstances…read more We booked a home called The Autobahn through Expedia for our family, based on its layout, features, and photos. Just before our trip, the property management company told us the home was suddenly unavailable due to "maintenance issues" and moved us to a different house without our consent. That's where the trouble started. The replacement property was dirty, unsafe, and misrepresented. There were stained carpets, a smelly basement, peeling deck boards, filthy bathtubs, and no AC during a heat wave in Seattle. Many rooms had no way to ventilate safely -- windows were sealed shut or lacked screens. Worse: after visiting the original property we booked, we discovered it hadn't been maintained or prepared for guests in months. It was never going to be available. The "maintenance issue" excuse was a complete fabrication. This was a bait-and-switch, plain and simple. When I tried to address the concerns, the owner was dismissive and condescending, suggesting that we should have "ignored the lower two floors" of the home (which were filthy). He took no responsibility for the condition of the property or the misleading communication. We've documented everything with photos, a timeline, and communication logs, which have been shared with Expedia and will be escalated further if needed. This company may appear professional online, but our experience was the opposite. If you're traveling with your family or expecting a quality rental that matches the listing, look elsewhere.
