"Bruce" the tiny bat

So, y'all. My wife and I had hadn't even heard of Cascade Caverns, we but saw a sign for it as we passed through Boerne a few weeks ago. We've enjoyed a few other caverns (Carlsbad, Inner Space, and Natural Bridge) so we decided to visit on a whim. Cascade Caverns is a bit off the beaten path but well worth the visit. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. My wife and I arrived early enough to get our own private tour. Our tour guide, Ireland, was great and you could tell she really enjoyed her job and cared about the cavern's preservation. Ireland encouraged and happily answered our questions. She took the time to ensure we remained safe. One of the great things about Cascade Caverns is that it retains much of its "natural" state, allowing visitors to navigate using flashlights. This makes the cavern tour feel more personal and individualized, a bit like you are exploring the cave by yourself.

Another amazing Cave/cavern in Texas. Our Tour guide Danni was awesome, very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor! 100/10 recommend!

A very cool cave tour about 40 minutes outside of San Antonio. The tours run every hour and it's about $20/person for the tour. There are a lot of steps to get down into the cave a cool little section where you have to crouch. Our tour guide Brandon was great. He knew a lot about the cave and was very passionate about the caves as well. There were tiny little bats inside the cave which were so cool. A lot of water in the cave and the stories of when it floods are so interesting. I've been in many other caves but each one is so unique. There is also a shin bone of a mastodon on the cave wall which I found to be crazy. I highly recommend this cave tour if you are in the area.

Went a couple weeks ago with a group of 23 and everyone just LOVED it. We even had a picnic on the grounds there. This was my second time there and it was even better the second time. Our tour guide, Stingray, was perfect for our group in many ways. Very knowledgeable, engaging, and just hilarious. The gift shop is great too, lots of crystals. Oh ya, the caverns are great as well. Just a cool place to go, and especially on a hot day because the temperature drops in there, like natures a/c. I highly recommend.

Truly enjoyed our experience! First time visiting caverns and will be recommending this location to everyone! Very knowledgable tour guide! Didn't catch her name but we loved her! Tours are given every top of the hour. Didn't include any pictures of the inside of the caverns to not spoil the AMAZING view!

Sebastian was a fantastic guide for our small group through the caverns. Well organized, a good blend between experience and educational content. Very limited disability accessibility/not small child friendly due to the stairs and slick nature of the caves, the rules specifically state no strollers or baby back carriers. The cave was beautiful, fascinating and an easy short stop on a trip through town or while exploring the area. Would definitely recommend!

This was a fantastic cave tour. Our guide was very informative, very funny, not the same jokes you hear at other caves. The cave was very wet and very alive with formation growth. This is a cave tour not miss if you're in the area. Fabulous

We've been trying to visit all the natural Texas caves, so naturally, this one was on the list. We had an awesome tour guide, Bri who answered all my questions and was very informative. At no point did we feel rushed during our tour. Though this is a smaller cave system, there is still plenty to look at. We saw a little "chicken nugget" aka a bat right away. We even saw two blue salamanders on the way out of the cave. There is one large room you can walk around freely in and explore. The stairs on the way down are far easier on the way back up so feel free if you have to stop and catch your breath. I had a good time. Parking seems a bit limited but while you're waiting for your tour to get going there's a giant dinosaur in the parking lot area and there is a gift shop. Bathrooms are outside and you can see what's left of the buildings, now unused, after the flood.

Mr. Kyle was an incredible guide! He had so many fun jokes, he was passionate about answering our questions honestly, and he had so much knowledge about the place! He took this amazing group photo of our tour group. Funny enough, we were all going to the same wedding later that day and didn't even know it! Such a great place for us to meet new friends and family. The caverns themselves were incredible to look at and it was such an experience to go down there. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend!!

This is one of our favorite Saturdays!…read more Shop in Comfort, Tx shops in the morning, and then head to this gem of a vineyard in the afternoon! GREAT wine and good food and nice people. Beautiful setting and music acts that are great. I actually feel like I am telling too many people about this... like I am sharing this awesome secret- but it's too good not to share!

Great Vineyard, Frustrating Food Experience…read more This was our first visit to Singing Waters Vineyard, and the property itself is absolutely darling. The setting is beautiful, the staff at the vineyard were friendly and welcoming, and the wine was tasty. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and time with friends. However, the food truck experience was a big letdown and honestly the main reason we're hesitant to return. I paid $12 for a hot dog combo (pictured)--just a single hot dog and a small bag of chips. That price felt excessive for what we received. The kids' burger was $8 and was tiny...about the size of a quarter dollar with melted cheese and chips. The value just wasn't there. What made things worse was the service. Our friends ordered the exact same food right before us and received theirs much earlier. We waited about 40 minutes longer for the same order. It was frustrating, and it did make us wonder if my earlier comment about the hot dog price being extreme played a role. The kids were all still hungry. The vineyard itself is lovely and worth visiting, but I strongly recommend reconsidering the food truck setup...either pricing, portions, or vendor choice. The food experience didn't match the quality of the venue, and it definitely affected our overall impression.
