Some friends and I checked out Bending Branch using our wine tasting passport and we loved their Tannat EM so much that we got a bottle of it to share after our tasting flights. I would recommend checking out other vineyards while in the area if you don't live close or adding it as a stop on your way to somewhere in the area. The staff were polite and if I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by again.

The four bourbons in the flight. Great presentation and glasses!

Superb winery a bit off the beaten path outside the town of Comfort. Nice country drive out to the winery, which has both outside and interior seating. Quaint interior with friendly and helpful staff. Of particular interest are the tastings offered. The wine flight is $30 for five as of August 2023 but I believe you get a souvenir glass as part of the price. However, we went specifically for their bourbon tasting, which is four unique locally made bourbon shots for $18. This is a rare offering in wine country, the most similar I've found are distilleries who serve rum or vodka. Smoky and with hints of caramel, if you're a bourbon fan (or just want to break away from wine) this is definitely worth a visit! 5 out of 5 stars!

Stumbled upon this winery because our daughter was doing some volunteer work at a camp close by. What a nice little winery, with great wines some of we never heard of. The folks were super friendly and the wine was so good, we joined the wine club. The tasting room has an adjacent patio and live music on the weekends. Kids are welcome, which is a plus. They do have a members only area up the hill, with complimentary snacks. Dr. Bob is such a sweet man, and explained to us how he got started with the Tenant grapes and growing grapes in general. Next time we will for sure allow more time in our travels to spend here.

I first want to recognize all of the obvious hard work that the workers here are providing. I know they are a small business and they are doing their best to operate by the safety guidelines. They were very welcoming and friendly. While it is a very small tasting room, they provide different options to enjoy their wines. Most of the options are on the sweeter side for me, but if you love sweet you'll love this place. It is a great place to enjoy peace and quite, and a great sunset! Check them out and support small business!

Great service. The ladies helping us were so kind and the tasting was great. The wines have their own depth and were delicious.

Great Vineyard, Frustrating Food Experience…read more This was our first visit to Singing Waters Vineyard, and the property itself is absolutely darling. The setting is beautiful, the staff at the vineyard were friendly and welcoming, and the wine was tasty. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and time with friends. However, the food truck experience was a big letdown and honestly the main reason we're hesitant to return. I paid $12 for a hot dog combo (pictured)--just a single hot dog and a small bag of chips. That price felt excessive for what we received. The kids' burger was $8 and was tiny...about the size of a quarter dollar with melted cheese and chips. The value just wasn't there. What made things worse was the service. Our friends ordered the exact same food right before us and received theirs much earlier. We waited about 40 minutes longer for the same order. It was frustrating, and it did make us wonder if my earlier comment about the hot dog price being extreme played a role. The kids were all still hungry. The vineyard itself is lovely and worth visiting, but I strongly recommend reconsidering the food truck setup...either pricing, portions, or vendor choice. The food experience didn't match the quality of the venue, and it definitely affected our overall impression.

Tasting Staff: friendly and informal, but a bit rushed, even though we were the only ones there. Definitely had a memorized schpiel for each wine. Facilities: Nice bar, located in town off the main drag. Wine Dogs: none We interrupted the tasting woman's morning plant watering and I think she was a little miffed about it. But, after a short wait we began our tasting. The wines were not great, but some were OK and the prices were low. We tasted about 6 wines and purchased the Orange Chardonnay. The cork was a little smashed but when we asked for another bottle the woman was very adamant about there being nothing wrong with it. The raisin wine was interesting, but the jalapeno wine takes the cake for the most interesting wine I've ever tried. Its not something for sipping, because its super-hot, but I suppose you could cook with it. Sip lightly! They were very proud of it, but I don't know if they should be.

There was no one behind the tasting counter when we walked in, but she came up from a back room quickly after we shut the door. She wasn't the most friendly, especially considering the two wineries we visited earlier. We tasted all that they had, they were sold out of the orange chard. They had a crisp white that was good, but most of the rest were too sweet for me. I dumped quite a few out. Now for the jalapenos, the jalapeno wine was crazy! So very hot, one little sip and your mouth is burning. She added a little clamato and voila! A perfect spicy bloody mary! It was excellent! I liked it so much we bought three bottles.
