Good venue and wine selection . Staff was great with local spot suggestions and friendly . Nice seating area outside and inside. Modern finishes inside yet retro and vintage inspired. Can't wait for their classes coming up.

Wine and cheese!

Lovely, lovely spot to sample Bending Branch wine. Cold air and superior service & did I mention the wine? Try the 2015 Tannat.

Texas Hill Country Wine Passport: #4 Tasting: Complimentary…read morefor the entire line, about 6 wines. Saltine crackers provided, dump (you might need it), no indoor plumbing=no water. Tasting Staff: friendly and informal, but a bit rushed, even though we were the only ones there. Definitely had a memorized schpiel for each wine. Facilities: Nice bar, located in town off the main drag. Wine Dogs: none We interrupted the tasting woman's morning plant watering and I think she was a little miffed about it. But, after a short wait we began our tasting. The wines were not great, but some were OK and the prices were low. We tasted about 6 wines and purchased the Orange Chardonnay. The cork was a little smashed but when we asked for another bottle the woman was very adamant about there being nothing wrong with it. The raisin wine was interesting, but the jalapeno wine takes the cake for the most interesting wine I've ever tried. Its not something for sipping, because its super-hot, but I suppose you could cook with it. Sip lightly! They were very proud of it, but I don't know if they should be.

This was our third and last winery of the day. We walked in from the back, from Highs Cafe, so I…read morehave no idea what the building looks like from the front. It's cozy from the back. And there was a whole bunch of jalapeno plants growing lined up on the walkway, more about them later. There was no one behind the tasting counter when we walked in, but she came up from a back room quickly after we shut the door. She wasn't the most friendly, especially considering the two wineries we visited earlier. We tasted all that they had, they were sold out of the orange chard. They had a crisp white that was good, but most of the rest were too sweet for me. I dumped quite a few out. Now for the jalapenos, the jalapeno wine was crazy! So very hot, one little sip and your mouth is burning. She added a little clamato and voila! A perfect spicy bloody mary! It was excellent! I liked it so much we bought three bottles. What it could do to my homemade pasta sauce...

We went out to…read morethe Tx Hill Country town of Boerne. 1st Winery was Sister Creek followed by lunch at the Hungry Horse having a very good meal. The 2nd wine tasting was at Lost Oak. Both wine tasting locations were charming & pleasantly differed in ambience. The tastings offered a generous variety of wines & good pours. Our guide Diana was delightful & gave us tips on wine tasting & the process of wine production. She even offered the history of winery's in the Texas Hill Country & the local town Boerne. So if you or your group are in San Antonio look up Cottonwood Wine Tours & book yourselves for a fine day out!

Love the park and ride, it's a relief being able to drink alcohol and not have to worry about calling an uber or cab. The park and ride allows you the opportunity to just relax, and enjoy the experience. If you log onto their website they have different tour packages. We did the Guadalupe River tour. We stopped at 3 Winery's and a distillery and tried some moonshine. We stopped for lunch in Comfort, Tx which was a cute little town. You get out and enjoy a some time looking around before moving on with the tour. The winery's they take you to are just amazing. What you get for the price is such a great deal. We never felt rushed. They allowed us to sight see and allowed us to just take our time to enjoy each winery. Diana or Robin even took our photos.
