This place was horrible! We had out of town guests and wanted to take them out for dinner. If I had known how bad our experience was going to be, I never would have come here. The place was almost empty when we arrived. The dining area was run down and did not give the impression that cleanliness was a priority. We were offered free chips and salsa and it's a good thing we were as we would have starved if they had not been available. Even though the chips were cold, greasy and smashed they did tide us over as we waited and waited and waited for our food. The food was remarkably boring for Mexican food. We will not be returning.

This is a nice, simple, family owned restaurant with seating for about 30. I had the beef enchiladas which is a large serving of great food. My wife had the taco salad and enjoyed it very much. Our vegan kid had rice and beans so there's no accounting for her taste.

I wanted to love this place but left a little underwhelmed. The service was prompt and friendly. We were given chips and hot sauce prior to our meal. The chips were similar to Tostitos that you buy in the grocery store and the hot sauce was like a bland red paste with pepper flakes. My meal came with an enchilada, tostada, rice and beans. The beans were probably the best thing on the plate. The enchilada and tostada were okay. Not bad but not great. The rice was a scoop of overcooked, tasteless brown rice. Oh and don't go on a Monday because they are closed.

I've eaten here weekly since 1969. Still my favorite. They originally introduced me to Mexican food in a true family tradition.

Nothing to write home about. Chips tasted like store bought santitos. Service wasn't great for a Fri. Food was basic.

Nachos are the greatest appetizer here and the homemade hot sauce is also pretty good.

Is it like Worcestershire sauce and the name is pronounced completely differently from how any reasonably intelligent person would expect? Truly, a mystery for the ages. As a business traveler, eating healthy on the road can be challenging. A burrito here isn't the healthiest thing, but by comparison to the Pizza Ranch directly behind this place, it's like gobbling Dexatrim. If you have never been to any of these types of places, it follows the "point and shuffle" format where you move along a cafeteria style ingredient bar and point at everything you want in your burrito or other dish. Service is quite fast, as the server needs only to slop a spoonful of each ingredient on your tortilla or into a dish. I saved the best for last: the amenities! This place has electrical outlets! Glorious 120 volt AC electricity! As a professional on the road for work, this is a luxury that I rarely get to enjoy when dining and working. My laptop has one of the most power hungry GPUs known to mankind: the ravenous RTX 5000, which eats battery life like Pac-Man eats dots. When it's time to get some work done after eating, having electrical power right at my table makes my life less stressful. I can focus on my work and not be stressed out about how long my battery will last. This place is awesome.

For example, they didn't drain my husband's beans so his bowl was a soupy mess. There were 3 ppl working. Pretty much just standing around by the stove. We walked back up because we forgot to order chips and they didn't see us standing there until another customer walked in... one went to help that customer and the other two ignored us?? The garbage cans were over the top in both the restaurant and the bathroom.... So managers/owners I think some training is needed to help with the up keep... but the food was good.
