Carne Asada

Such a great experience at this Mexican Fusion restaurant. Beautiful dining room with real style and atmosphere. The service is so friendly and you can tell they put great care into every aspect. The street tacos are amazing - the tortillas make the difference. We loved the chiccarones ribeye with crispy juicy steak served on top of house made guacamole. I loved the Tuna tacos with giant Jicama for the perfect crunch! Carne Asada was peppery and juicy with fresh grilled flavor - served with au jus. Don't miss the dip!!

Birria dripping all over the chop board onto the table. Ramakins for bean and rice bowls.

Somebody sunk a lot of money into remodeling this place, but unfortunately they are falling into the same trap as the previous business owners - opening an upscale dining experience in a redneck, blue collar neighborhood. It's never going to work. The interior design is bizarre. I didn't care for the booth and chair designs and there is a lot of wasted space with the way the booths were laid out. The screened in porch area has been enclosed, which is also unfortunate in my opinion. It's only been open a couple days, so I'm not going to comment on the service. The food was decent - we tried the birria tacos and the fajitas. These were ordered off the lunch menu and the fajitas were great value at approx. $15. The beans were devoid of all taste and I didn't care for the rice, either. Try the potatoes as an alternative. Now here is my biggest criticism - the dinnerware has zero functionality. The salsa dish diameter is too small to dip a chip into and I'm sorry, but nobody is going to ladle salsa onto their chips with a little spoon. The bowls they put the rice and beans in are like ramakins and when you dig the giant fork into the rice and lift it out of the bowl, the rice will scatter all over the table. The tacos are served on a wood board that looks like a small butcher block. However, the birria is very juicy and spills all over the board, which then spills all over the table. Messy... We might go back for dinner in a month or two just to give them some time to work out the kinks and see what they have to offer on the dinner menu. We didn't try the drink menu either. But in my opinion, they've missed the demographic here and won't be in business very long. That's unfortunate.

My wife and I had dinner this evening at their soft opening. We were very impressed when we entered the restaurant. They did a great job remodeling the restaurant. It's really a beautiful place. We were a tad disappointed that several items we had seen on the website were not available as they have a limited menu for their soft opening. Still plenty to choose from. Chips (not the typical variety) were brought to the table along with salsa. Both were very good. I asked for a hotter salsa and was brought one that wasn't really hotter but fantastic. The manager later told me it was their charred salsa. We shared a crispy fish appetizer served with guac and other items that was very good. The star of the meal were the ribeye tacos. Really good as was the salsa that came with. My wife had the strawberry salad with chicken which wasn't a standout. Oh, the classic margarita with fresh line juice was very good. Prices are reasonable given the quality. Service was spotty and the staff didn't seem to be very informed and were unsure of themselves....yo be expected in a soft opening. They definitely need to do some work there. Look forward to returning after giving them some time to try some other items on their full menu.

Mexican cordon bleu- so good!

We loved our experience at Casa Tequila Prime. The restaurant is gorgeous! The menu is creative and different from anything else in the area. Service was great. We will be back!

I visited Aurora for the first time to celebrate a friend bday and this establishment had…read moreeverything one could ask for--from the food selection, the views, the customer service. In arrival, valet parking is available; however there is a nice size lot too. The entrance is grand, where the host were ready to greet you and kindly assisted me to the party. Our waitress was Izzy. Izzy was efficient for our party of 6, offering stellar recommendations, clearing the table, ensuring our water and drink did not empty. Also, Robert made his rounds ensuring customers were pleased and offered wonderful recommendations too! Both Izzy and Robert had not only wonderful customer service, but also strong soft skills. They were personable, attentive, communicative, and genuinely made the experience enjoyable. In to the food! The seafood platter appetizer was large and such a delight. Definitely enough for 6+ adults. The chef presentation was on point and the seafood was fresh, no fishy taste or smell noted! I cannot forget to mention their fresh made focaccia bread with the butter and honey -- don't bypass that bread. It was so good, we got two orders! At the table we had an assortment of entres from chicken Parmesan, to the short rib pasta(x3), to the brazino and Michigan cherry salmon. All dishes were bursting with flavor. All desserts sounded mouth watering as we celebrated a birthday Izzy did come out with a Cannoli and candle. We also tried the Carrot Cake -- we were able to share a slice with a table of 6. The cake was rich in flavor with perfect blend of icing and walnuts. Within the large restaurant, there was an upstairs I did not visit, but I presume that there was a banquet area there. Here is a large room in the back of the restaurants as well. A lot of space for larger parties or small parties or date nights or girls night. This restaurant can meet those needs. I cannot forget to mention that there is a bakery at the front of the establishments where you can get a variety of items from coffee to cakes to pastas. Some feedback we had regarding: the bathroom was quite small for the size of establishment, and we had some concerns with the seafood platter--our recommendation would be to avoid serving the hot mussels on the same ice bed as the chilled seafood. Cannot wait until I visit Aurora Commerce Township again!!

1 Up Arcade Bar is a blast!! Booze and video games...need I say more!! I've been to several arcade…read morebars including Ready Player One, Pop + Offworld, and Pinball Pete's and 1 Up is probably my favorite!!! It's great that it's local and easy to get to. It's located in Downtown Farmington above Basement Burger Bar. The entrance is behind the building and there's plenty of parking behind the building too. I also like that it's not as tight, compact, and crowded as Ready Player One can get. I also had less problems with machines eating quarters or games getting stuck. The barcade itself is super cute and themed perfectly. The bar area has a giant light-up Pac-Man backdrop and all of the drinks on the menu are themed after old school video games. There's the Pac-Man old fashioned and Ms. Pac-Man cosmopolitan, a Ginball Wizard G&T, and a Diddy Kong banana flavored cocktail made with Screwball peanut butter whiskey. The craft cocktails are $9. They also have super delicious frozen cocktails! My favorite cocktail here is the frozen Donkey Kong! Do yourself a favor and order this! You will thank me later lol. It's a frozen banana cocktail with dark rum, cinnamon and vanilla. The best part: they actually flambé a banana and top the cocktail with the caramelized banana....yum!! The frozen cocktails are huuugee!! 23 oz for only $11. It's so large, it's the only drink you'll probably need for the night. I thought I had ordered the big one by mistake but apparently the big one is 51 oz and looks like a giant fish bowl to share for $22. They also have frozen Pac-Man cocktails called Blinky (raspberry), Inky (blue curaçao spin on a pina colada), Pinky (watermelon colada), and Clyde (whisky peach smash), and also a Kirby froze. They also have some craft beers on tap, some tasty $4 shots, and some bar snacks including chips, popsicles, Fun Dip and candy cigarettes for $1-$2. There's plenty of seating at the bar and also 1-2 tables throughout the barcade. Service was great! Bao was our bartender and he was super helpful, friendly, fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. Cocktails ordered come with 4 tokens for a game, and beers come with two tokens for a game. You can use tokens or regular quarters on all of the games and they have a couple change machines throughout the barcade. Most games require about two quarters/tokens and bigger games require four. I would say about $8-$10 is what you would need for tokens/quarters here to enjoy between two people for a fun night. They also have little tables by every video game to set your drink and drink holders at the pinball machines. They have about 5-6 pinball machines. I played the Pirates of the Caribbean one and it was super fun! I like how the pirate ship came to life. They have lots of nostalgic video games like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter vs. X-Men. They have some of my faves like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They have some driving games like Mario Kart and a game where you shoot zombies and of course an air hockey table which is always a blast. I've been here a couple times recently and before the pandemic, they even had a DJ spinning on the weekends. It's a fun spot to start your night with friends and maybe head to karaoke at BBB after or Swing Dancing in the park/pavilion. It also makes a great date night too!! I came here for a date and started the evening with tacos across the street at Masa and it was a lot of fun! They're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but are open Wednesday & Thursday from 5pm to 12am, Friday from 5pm to 2am, Saturday from 12pm to 2am, and Sunday  5pm to 10pm. I highly recommend stopping in! Feels like you're at Chuck-E-Cheese minus the scary animatronic singing robots plus now I can have cocktails, yay! You will have a blast guaranteed!
