The drinks are watered down to the point that you may get more of a buzz from the water they serve. We had dinner at the location inside the Riverside Casino in Laughlin the other night. The food here is amazing. We enjoyed everything from the chips & salsa to the Carne Asada Steak dinner we ate. This place has definitely improved since last. I tried it about 10 years ago. The Michelada's were good. They had a good selection of tequilas and I got a godfather burrito was excellent. Service was a little slow. They didn't really check up on me when I was there, I had to wave everybody down, but other than that not a bad place. I definitely will be coming back. We came to the Riverside resort from Vegas about once a month. Always have dinner at Casa Serrano! Love the food and the dinning room decor and views are really nice. We ordered the chili rellano combo and the enchilada, tamale combo. Both were delicious and did not disappoint ! Yum...I bbn love Mexican food. We were seated right away. Lovely bar selection. We have been here a few times and have had The food be hit-or-miss. Tonight the food was phenomenal..... Much of the credit I will give to our amazing server who made sure that our menu was catered specifically to our needs...ANGIE was amazing tonight. Polite, joyful and helpful. She cratered to my vegetarian needs and brought out an all veggie soup with avacado that is as spectacular!!! Horrible service. The food is subpar and the staff is absolutely RUDE! They take guest for granted since they're in the established Riverside hotel. The food is not that good and is definitely not worth the wait. There are so many Mexican restaurants in close vicinity. Do yourself a favor, go eat somewhere else. We have always loved the food here. Sometimes the service can be very slow. This is especially true waiting for a table. But once you order your food it comes very fast. The menus has lots to choose from too. I did not see a reduced menu even thru C19 like other restaurants. read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could. The person at the front desk Adela has the manners of a rabid rottweiler. The bar was wide open and I was told to wait before I could sit there. A couple came in behind me and went straight to the bar upon asking the same person (Adela). I guess selective seating! The restaurant was not busy and my food took 23 minutes (one burrito mind you). I had to ask for a drink by walking to the bar. I asked for the check. The food is sub-par, the service isn't good and the ambience is equivalent to a roadside burrito shack. Sunday and the guy at the hostess desk would not sit us down until the the last person got there... who makes the patrons wait outside on the Smokey casino area when we' were only missing one person in a group of 5? Tried Casa Serrano for the first time, during a recent vacation. It was recommended to me by my Dad. It's has been a hangover go to while staying at the Riverside. First stop when arriving in Laughlin, met family for dinner. I had ordered three hard shell tacos and beans and rice. My wife ordered the tostadas plate with an enchilada. My plate was delicious, tacos- crispy crunchy, beans with melted cheese was awesome, the rice was okay not to much flavor. My wifes tostadas- she liked them but also complained about them being soggy and wet, which they were and we all know tostadas are to be crispy and crunchy. The enchilada- we have had better. It really bums me out that I have to leave such a negative review when I originally joined Yelp to give praise and love Don Laughlin's Riverside Casino. Especially since we come here every year for bowling. We sat up at the bar, enjoyed some chips and salsa while figuring out what we wanted to eat and drink. The salsa was probably the only positive experience on this visit. We ordered Cadillac margaritas that were insanely sweet, so much so that we didn't even finish them and stuck to our waters. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla. BIG mistake. The shrimp was obviously frozen/pre cooked so they were very hard, small, and not enjoyable what so ever. I ate maybe half when I should have just sent it back. I didn't say anything, lesson learned. However, when my boyfriend ordered the tacos he requested hard shell and they brought out soft with the fixings on the side (lettuce, tomato, guacamole, sour cream, etc). When he told the bartender about the mistake he took it back to the kitchen with attitude and not even 5 minutes later came back out with what was more of a flauta type of flaky "shell", cold meat and no fixings as the taco had on the side before. It was literally just cold meat with a flaky shell and grease dripping out everywhere. When we asked about the toppings that a taco would normally come with (everything listed above, maybe some onions and cilantro) he gave us attitude stating that's not what we asked for and all we asked for was hard shell tacos. I was shocked! How is a soft taco any different from a hard taco aside from the shell?! After stating my feelings as I just did, he goes to the back and then haves us a plate with just sour cream and guacamole. He must have missed the part when we specifically requested the lettuce and tomato that came with the last tacos, just like he missed our request of them being hard to begin with. Maybe sitting at the bar wasn't a good idea and we should have just requested a table to begin with. It definitely would have saved us from listening to the phone ringing off the hook in our ears because nobody would answer it while passing by. That definitely put a damper on the ambiance. Such a horrible experience, enough to where we won't be going back. If zero stars was a thing this experience would definitely be worthy of that. read more

This has become a regular stop for us when we visit Laughlin! It's a very casual restaurant with cute decor everywhere and plenty of seating. The chips are always fresh and they give you two different types of salsa, regular and spicy. The regular is delicious and the spicy definitely has a kick! The food I always good, nothing fancy but always tasty! I had the chilaquiles and they let you choose between red and green sauce. I chose red and it was so good! I have been here before and food was good. I'm writing this review regarding the staff including manager lack of professionalism and customer service. I called ahead of time to ask when they close, we came in in a party of 15, showed up 40 minutes before closing and they said they were going home early.
