Walked in and got a table and waited... finally was waited on and my husband asked to keep the tab open as we knew we would stay as long as the band was playing. We both ordered a drink and a glass of water. We were charged $3.50 for a small bottle of water. In the 4 hours we were there our waitress stopped by 2 times and each time closed us out. Fun dive bar with great bands!! I love coming here to see the RoxyGunn Project. They are the main reason why I come here. Over the last couple years they updated the bar and seating areas. Service is ok nothing special. Drinks are average price but the major negative is that they charge 3.50 for a small bottle of water. All I can say is ive given this place several trys. Every time was worse! This was the last time I give this place a penny. 40 dollars for 2 tickets to watch the worst lip sync band since Jr high! This band was literally standing on stage while songs played and they held instruments and sung every other word. My 6 year old sings in the back seat better then this band. Sad... we were at Don Laughlin's riverside resort & casino to celebrate 2 life long friends 55th birthday. All total our group consisted of 2 men with their 2 wives of 35+ years - both men sober, 1 wife had been drinking to celebrate her & her husbands 55th birthday. The other wife DROVE non-stop for 30+ hours to surprise OUR friends on their birthday. She had some drinks in a short amount of time (after arriving) but was not causing any issues. All 4 of us were having a good time and the band Pandora Rocks was playing along with our birthday & 80's requests. Somehow we got asked to leave by security and a what I believe was an officer (badge on bullet proof vest) to leave because our wives were an issue. I assume that since were were the last older people in the "lounge" we got titles the "losers'" so they could bring on the younger crowd??? read more

Short line to get in, no cover charge, live music & the place was packed!!!!! Had sooooooo much fun people watching & dancing. I came on a saturday night while visiting from Las Vegas and and had an amazing time dancing and listening to great music from the band. I wasn't sure how the nightlife would be in Laughing but this is the best place we found so far. The bar was extremely busy it gets really packed inside so get there early. I absolutely loved the people watching so many different ages just having a good old time my favorite was the older couples so adorable. The only thing i did not enjoy was the dj he was terrible and just played music that kept clearing up the dance floor, they can do much better for sure. read more

Your bouncer/ security guy CARLOS needs his ass fired! Went Saturday night with a couple of friends to drink, dance and watch the dance floor. This young gay couple were dancing and one of them did the splits while dancing. CARLOS grabs the guy by the "back" of his shirt ( in an aggressive manner) and tells him that is not allowed. Approximately 15 minutes later, a straight girl does same thing- the splits and Carlos goes over to her and " tells" her that's not allowed. I'm sitting here watching thinking who the hell does Carlos think he is putting hands on someone who is just dancing. I don't care if you don't like gay people or what his issue is but that was completely unprofessional and totally uncalled for. If that gay young man was my son, I would put my hands on Carlos straight up. I was disgusted. You don't like gay people or anyone that's different, kept it to yourself or stay home. I'm not one to hate clubs, but this one seemed like it was just too much for my cup of tea I'll say. I went in there, dressed up with my husband after checking out the karaoke bar that they had another location in the same hotel casino area, and when I walked away to get us a couple of drinks, my husband was then approached by a pimp, who tried to get him to pick a woman that was obviously on the dance floor. Was I wear that they had pimps in these places no. I just find it funny that they didn't know that there are pimps that are walking around their club asking men if they need a woman for the night. Would I recommend this place? Probably not due to that fact. To me, it seems a little uncomfortable to come back and have my husband and say a pimp approached me and it's in the club and to me that would be my club. Not safe. But if you're willing to overlook all that. There is no cover charge the music seem decent and some of the older folk from the karaoke from upstairs. Great bartenders who will remember your drink and have it ready before you can even ask for something else, it's one of the reasons I return to Laughlin so often. I would only knock off one star but the band was pretty bad and they was all over the board when it came to music. This place would be amazing if it didn't have a band. The floor is really packed when it's just a Dj but once the band gets up the floor just clears. It's just that bad. The crowd is a mixed crowd which isn't bad. It's clean and no drama or fights, just the way I like it. If you like to sit for 30 minutes after dancing for 30 minutes then this is your place. If not then I would find another place to go. Being that this is Laughlin, you shouldn't have high expectations of dance clubs, or after hours places. It's not Vegas, or LA. Clientele to support those types of clubs year round is nonexistent. That said, this is probably one of the best places in town to catch a live band, hangout with friends, have some drinks, people watch and shake your tail feather! A local's favorite spot for nightlife. Like other reviewers, I did have the opportunity to see "ballroom guy" in action on my April trip. He thought A LOT of himself and was eying others for praise throughout the night. But, I can't dance like that, so good for him. He also tried to "get in" on other girls dancing circles. Usually they just rebuffed ballroom guy, but it didn't discourage him to try again on another song. Pretty funny shhtuff. Another very talented dancer was also there, a slim younger guy in his 20's, with tats, a baseball cap , jeans and tennis shoes (think bro) along with his cute slim girlfriend and their friends. He was a sight to see, a modern, edgy dancer tearing up the floor to all melody types. I think he made ballroom dude jealous..lol. Both are probably locals, so you may catch them on a night you go too. As nonsmoker, I'm probably the minority here in Laughlin. For me, the Loser's Lounge was very very smokey. The Riverside Resort probably has an old or poor functioning ventilation system, as I felt quite overwhelmed by all the smoke. I try to stay in corners away from the smokers, but it didn't make a difference. The music is loud with crap speakers, so if your hearing is sensitive, I would pass on Loser's Lounge. Maybe try the more mellow Dance Club upstairs with karaoke and line dancing. Some Yelp reviewers wrote of cover charges, but I've never paid one over the years I went to the LL. The Friday & Saturday nights are best for music and live bands. Both are pretty good considering......you know. If you're looking for somewhere that's more upscale and less "clubby", try the Riverside's new Gourmet Lounge. It's located next to the Gourmet Room. A small lounge that has a private bar with happy hour martinis, that are well made and low priced. This place has new lounge furniture, a working Wurlitzer jukebox, and a sheek feel to it. I don't think it's open late, with the same hours as the Gourmet Room. Which, if you're looking for that someplace special for dining, this is it! No cover charge and stays open all night. If you're looking to party this is the place to go. One of the few late night spots in Laughlin. The crowd here is younger and a little ghetto but we didn't have any trouble. We dropped in Saturday night. The DJ was playing all the best jams from my era early 2000's. Great mix of music and the DJ had a great change up. He really kept the crowd and the dance floor alive. Hopefully he/she is djing next time I'm in town. Downfall to this place is the lack of women. We went in there with my wife, two other couples, and my wife's female friend. So many groups of eager single men trying to pounce on anything. We are guests at the hotel, been coming for years, annual family reunion. We went to the pool on Thursday evening, took our Bluetooth speaker, beer, snacks & had a great time. Today... after an afternoon at the river, we get our stuff and go back to the pool only to be told by the attendant that our speaker wasn't allowed. We explained that we had it Friday and she said 'well it because I wasn't here' so my Aunt took the speaker back up. Then she proceeds to card us, my cousin had to venture to the room to retrieve her ID. While we are waiting for them to come back (cuz we need the room key to enter the pool area) she tells me she needs to look in our bags, so I show her mine. She says no outside food or drinks. I had water so I was okay but my cousin had snacks. So she had to take the bag up. Then... while one cousin was waiting, the security guard came out and told her that she needed to wear a mask. Mind you, we were outside and was just told by the attendant that we didn't need one. So my cousin puts it on. Fast forward, 20 minutes or so to 7pm, attendant shift is over. We are watching people walk into the pool area with bags of food, drinks and children under 21. The security guards walk around and looks at the backpacks, ice chests and food and says nothing. Other employees walk by, the employees with the towels and no one says anything. If we couldn't have our own food and drink then it should be for all staff to know. And why would you need to show an ID if you're allowing children in. And why would a mask be required when the signed posted clearly says otherwise.
