Looked for a karoeke bar and this place came up. Good location and set up except the KJ and karoeke here is a bit dull because honestly the music is so low to sing to. KJ here needs to up the volume so you can hear the music and the KJ needs to learn how to engage with a crowd to get more people to sign up and sing. Karoeke on a Friday is when I came. Came here again for the 2nd time brought a guest and was disappointed with the service and the quality of the drink . We ordered an old fashion and it was as the worse I had ever been served . Even the locals were treated sub par: 2 buckets of ultra and 4 shots would of been the tip balanced but I saw that the tip was far less only because the attitude and face expression was not friendly. Sporty fun tropical atmosphere, this place is ok for the middle of the desert. Just be careful if you are drinking. The walk isn't bad but it's across from the casinos. The staff is hit or miss with social skills. Everything is ok, food, drinks, service and atmosphere, The bar itself has mostly nice bartenders and very nice patrons. Star was the best bartender I ever had. He reeled my drunk friend in and chilled him out. No animosity. Just a genuine guy. My friend got with it and we left. Fun place to hang out but the karaoke DJ needs to upgrade his process. Was up there with a group and we went in for karaoke and drinks. The DJ still uses a book to look through for your songs, which I haven't seen in ages. Songs that were requested he didn't have. The sound system is not very good so when you're singing you can't hear how you sound. The screen for the lyrics faces away from the crowd so when singing your back is to the audience. Also the lyrics are not in time with the music. Great place to hang out in Laughlin but can use some upgrading in that department. read more

We came here for Karaoke this last Friday Nite. Had a blast and the young gal that ran the Karaoke was just so much fun. Catered to the singers , all of them, not just the locals like they do at the riverside. Saturday Nite was a young guy that was just really into himself and there is no place for that. Ok, this is the only place over President's Day Weekend that I didn't come with my wife. This place is pretty cool and the vibe is amazing. What I loved about it was while we were there, they were playing jazz and blues music. I was there mid afternoon so I'm not sure that is their regular music stylings but I loved it none the less. My sister always listens to country so I was quite surprised to find out that we both enjoyed the music. The staff here was amazing, they were busy, and they still made us feel like we were to only ones i there. If your in Laughlin, you gotta hang out at the Hide Out! read more

Cool little dive bar. We went during football and got $3 draft beer. The bartenders were attentive when our drinks were empty. The only downside is it is really smokey smelling, since most people at the video poker machines were smoking. Other than that, would recommend for cheap drinks read more

I came here the other night and headed straight to the poker machine on the bar and put in $20. The bartender (whom I believe was the owner) approached me and asked "what do you want?". His tone and demeanor in asking that question was beyond rude however I disregarded this. I asked for 2 Heinekens to which he responded he would comp one since I was playing. We get the beers and I keep playing the machine, I loose about $5 and put another $5 back in, loose another $1. Time to cash out.... The bartender/owner comes to pay me out... He comes back with $19 and says verbatim "I'm charging you for that beer I comped. You're not fu@king cashing out at $19". I explained 'I put money back in' and he said. Wife and I arrived Sat night 03/06/21 and were excited to have a few drinks, game a bit, relax, and we were able to order Sushi from next door. We are from Vegas area and love a good bar experience- and if were having fun we don't watch the clock. The male bartender who I think was the owner lectured my wife on their drink comp system in a really rude tone- he mentioned red light green light system then said we don't comp drinks for people that play nickels like you....Keep in mind my wife never asked him for a free drink to begin with and put $40 in the machine... Wife played a little while longer and cashed out- up$ which is always nice, we ate our Sushi (delightful), finished our paid drinks and left. Sad that a place with this potential is ruined by a lack of courtesy, friendliness, and downright greed. I read some other reviews and the male bartender has been identified in those with pictures. We know a lot of bartenders and we love professionalism, humor, sarcasm, and a little banter....This bartender is the face of this business and unfortunately, he really should re-think how he acts...hurts himself, his wallet, especially the other nice female bartender.
