Stopped by The Cove bar in the Aquarius for Happy Hour. Had the chicken nachos and a couple of their specialty cocktails. Both food and drinks were excellent! But the best thing about the experience was Bradley my waiter. He was friendly, professional and went out of his way to make me feel like a VIP. Kudos to Aquarius for hiring such a great server read more

Stopped in here several times during our weekend for drinks. We had No food although it is available in the evenings! Servers were all quite plight and attentive. Thomas and Daniel. The only downfall was in the evening the drinks took a Long Time coming out of the bar.... decent Bloody Mary though! River view seating is available. read more

We had a good time at the Cove Lounge in Aquarius. The drinks were well made, tasted great, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The only thing that fell a little short was the calamari--it was cooked well, but it could have used more seasoning and flavor, specifically since we had to wait a while for it. Service was great with their attention. Still a nice experience, and we'd come back for the drinks and lounge atmosphere. read more

Wanted to give a special shout-out to the cocktail waitress for her exceptional service (this being December 26, 2025). She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome--something you don't always experience in a busy casino setting. Drinks were delivered promptly, and she checked in just the right amount without being intrusive. The bar has an abundance of TV screens showing sporting events, making it a great spot to hang out and watch a game. The mixed drinks were decent. Overall, a relaxed atmosphere. read more

Yummy food. We've had their pizza and sides of salad. Lots of food and tasty as well.

This cute, little bar is the perfect place to grab a nice dinner and drink and at the same time get away from the smoke and crowds. It's set off to a little corner of Aquarius and had a great small menu. I opted for the braised short ribs with pasta and a raspberry mojito. Perfect way to spend my last night. read more

We stopped in for a little birthday dinner with a view of the river. While seated at the bar, you have a great overlook of the river! The bartender mostly avoided us earlier on into the evening. When we tried to put a drink order in he promptly cut us off and grabbed a waitress to stop by and grab our food order. He hadn't listened well enough to hear that we were ready to order cocktails.. The waitress was great! She took our food orders and was attentive the entire evening. We sampled the garlic bread and steak sandwich! The garlic bread was deliciously cheesy & the marinara was on the sweeter side. The steak was cooked to order & was melting in my mouth. So so so good! We finally managed to grab the bartender Courtney to get our drinks! She makes a fantastic mojito and even suggested topping it off with sprite once I had drank half of it. She makes a mean bourbon & coke too! Overall the experience was mostly positive! We would definitely go back for the steak sandwich & raspberry mojito read more

Food is usually good.Unless they have a new chef. Atmosphere is typical for a casino bar/restaurant. Servers are usually good. Clarissa and Tommy are the best.Bartenders are hit and miss . Some seem not to want to be there. . It's very obvious. read more

We just happened along this place while visiting Laughlin. We were actually staying at Edgewater but they didn't have a ton of great food choices and it was late. We walked over to try the pizza place but they had no seating so we walked to the other side saw this place had food. To our surprise it serves a lot of what is on the menu at the pizza place and it has an Oyster Bar. We chose an appetizer and an entree to share. The dip was good chips were a little too fried for me. The gumbo was great had Fried Okra on the top. It was perfect to share! We were served fast and no wait. Sat in the bar area. read more

Well, let's just say, you have to walk clearly through the Casino floor to locate the hidden gem. The ambiance was perfect, not smokey, not noisy. The bartender Jeffery was awesome. He got our cocktails right out. Kamakazi shots for us with a few beers. Then we were greeted by Tommy the waiter who took our order for firewood, smoked brisket with mushrooms pizza. This place is pretty aligned with prices and great place to people-watch. We sat in our high table and watched the boaters on the river and casino gamblers placing their bets. It was awesome lil gem. I love that they partnered up and sharing the love aka proceeds to the Lymphoma Leukemia Foundation. I will return during my stay and support again. Please enjoy some pics read more

Summer 2024 Waiter said Wine Wednesday started around last week of June. 50% off a bottle. I like it here, view of the Colorado River. They have video games at the bar, I chose to sit at a table. They also have happy hour, 4-6. $10 select appetizers. I got Blackened Shrimp bruschetta, pretty good! This has to be one of the best specials in Laughlin. I hope it stays for a while. read more

Our service was great and we enjoyed the great view of the river. All of the food was good except for the lobster in the lobster rolls. It was tough and chewy overcooked and very fishy "usually a sign of old". Other than the unpleasant lobster everything else was great. read more

Fantastic service, nice view of the river and it had a cozy ambiance. We enjoyed our dinner. Although some aspects of the dishes weren't 4 star, the service and ambiance made up for it. The seafood cioppino was very tasty! read more

Spent the weekend at the Aquarius, I got tired of the cocktails coming from the cocktail waitresses so I found myself in the Cove looking for a little more and what a great place to end up for a drink. I sat and won a little money but more importantly we met Michelle, our bartender who brought our spirits up! Michelle made me an Old Fashion to die for, I drink a lot of old fashions and this one was right up on the top of my list. Plus service with a smile, Michelle is the reason you need to stay at the Aquarius, she not only makes awesome drinks but you can't but help to be happy in her presence. Go, just go and look for Michelle! Your welcome. read more

We were not greeted but found our way to an employee and asked if a table was available. We were handed menus and told to sit bellow. After an awkward stand off we found the perfect table with a beautiful view of the lovely Colorado River. I ordered the Naked Margarita and it was beautiful and garnished with a perfect lime slice. Taste is awesome especially if you hate sugared down Margaritas. I was served chios while waiting and they come with a spicy cream/mayo sauce. Very good. Elegant scenery polite waiter. I ordered shrimp scampi pasta. Devine. Well seasoned. My husband ordered the meatballs Andrew F and the staff were amazing at checking for food allergy concerns... This was a pleasant visit. Cant wait to return to eat again! On a side note I will add the price here is steep. My food was great and generally I dont mind paying for quality. Im just not so sure the quality of this location is worth the incredible price. My margarita was $15 for 1!! The pasta $24 and meatballs $10 pretty much the only price I was thinking ...ok thats fair... but dang $15 margarita was not worth it. read more

Great view of the river and the menu is a reduced one from the new River Rock. The free homemade chips are Awesome! Prices are also fair. Great service. Daytime the view of the river is great. Service is tough because there's just one bartender so if it gets busy expect a good wait. They have snack type food which is nice but it's nothing special. read more

Staying at Aquarius tonight for a quick getaway from home in Vegas, my husband and I decided to come have a drink and appetizers before we go to dinner at another casino. We saw while walking around earlier that after 3pm this little lounge area had fresh oysters. Came in about 4:15, found a little table for us, our server, Ricardo, took our order of half dozen oysters and calamari plus our drinks pretty quickly. Brought the drinks right away, and brought the food to us in about 10 mins. Oysters were fresh and not small by any means, calamari was crispy and flavorful. Served with pine nuts, a combo of pickled peppers and a nice sauce with marinara on the side. We would definitely come back for a quick bite next time we're in Laughlin. Missed getting pictures because it looked so good All in all a nice little lounge with low music and a full bar. They have a good food menu - pizza and some other stuff, we came with oysters in mind so didn't look much further than that. Definitely recommend. read more

I'm so glad that The Cove remains open during our pandemic. Staff are always friendly and helpful here. Great to see one of the bartenders from Colorado Belle working at The Cove, Willie! Decided to try the shrimp scampi for a different appetizer- unfortunately, it was very salty and overcooked. The manager did give us a nice discount off the price of the scampi item. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. read more

First we love this place and the river and Mountain View's! The pizzas and calamari was excellent. But what made our night was our server Maricar (sorry if misspelled). It was a full house last night and she was out numbered and all alone. BUT she was amazing not just for us but the rest of the people in the lounge. I hope she got big tips as this girl must have went home exhausted. She was pleasant, kind and did a wonderful job! The Cove needs to commend her and hire more staff and let her train them! read more

Ever since Rachel has taken over things (food and Beverage director) in this place have gone DOWNHILL. Just finished a review of the steak house and this place is heading in the same direction. What was another great place, they just turned their menu into a joke. Almost all the seafood dishes are off including the Crab king Louie salad. How does one leave an antipasto salad on the menu and take this off? They promote this Cove as an oyster bar. They do not even have clam chowder, or oyster chowder. While the service is adequate, the menu now lacks big time. We did eat here weekly as well. Oh, Don't order breakfast in a bucket. Its been on the menu for years, and they haven't had it in over 2 years read more

We came here for the view just to relax, crab a bite and a drink. We got the raspberry lemon martini and mango something lol. Don't get the spicy mango unless you can handle it lol. We went into the Cove bar after a bad start in Outback. The servers came right over and got us our drinks right away. It was nice to get some good service in this hotel. The place was clean and well taken care of. The servers were all pleasant and seemed to want to make sure your order got right back. Great food, must try the raw oysters. I also like they chicken wings and lobster roll. See you guys there for the 4th!

The Cove Lounge & Bar is inside the Aquarius and is a Nonsmoking lounge. I was staying at the Aquarius for my brother's wedding and the entire wedding party and guest too and we all kept the Cove a pretty busy place during our stay. I didn't know I was a martini kind of lady, but thanks to the Cove I now know I am haha. During my stay, I did try a few martinis and my favorites were the raspberry lemon drop, chocolate covered cherry and the most favorite, the pineapple upside down cake. That pineapple upsidedown cake martini is truly the liquid form of the cake, so dang good! The staff at the Cove were great. If ever back in Laughlin, The Cove will be my go to spot! read more

Went to the cove for cocktails and appetizer. Greeted by waitress Charity and even though she was the only waitress, she was able to manage and provide me and my husband with great service. As we waited for our drinks, we were brought kettle chips with sauce. We ordered the strawberry margarita and raspberry mojito. For appetizers:chicken wings and calamari. Chicken wings (5 pieces) were good. Overpriced at $12. Calamari tasted good. Most appetizers were $12. They also serve pizza. Mostly finger foods. Oyster Rockefeller was terrible no taste at all. Caramelized onion dip terrible. YUCK! Watch out for the gnats hovering over your food

I'm sad to say the food was not good. Greasy and tasted like old oil, semi cold oyster rockerfeller, dry lobster sandwich and pizza dough with cheese on it but no garlic. Service was very slow. This was on mother's day and no other options. I'm sure that is last time I will order food there. The atmosphere was nice. read more

The Cove Bar, inside the Aquarius casino, is supposed to be the swank bar of the property. Keep in mind we're talking about the Aquarius, which is supposed to be the nicest place in Laughlin, and this is supposed to be their best bar. To recap, it's the nicest bar in the nicest hotel in Laughlin. I think that's like being the skinniest kid at fat camp, no? Really, though, this bar isn't bad. The service was good, and the drinks were ok. In terms of that stuff, nothing to complain about, but also nothing to write home about, either.
