Scampi offered two seatings on the evening we visited (Saturday) and we selected the 8:00 PM. A deposit is required to hold your space. The restaurant is small and intimate, and we enjoyed the group atmosphere and dynamic. Our dinner featured cuisine from Emilia Romagna (Northern Italy). Head Chef and owner Liz dazzled us with extraordinary dishes, bursting with flavor, and all pasta-forward. She addressed the group a few times to explain the dishes we were enjoying. She was funny and humble. Not someone who revels in being in the spotlight. This made us love her even more! Service was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The pizza was perfectly cooked with a great balance of flavors, and you can tell it's made with quality ingredients. Everything came out fresh and tasted just as good as it looked. It's the kind of place where every bite leaves you wanting more. The location is also a huge plus. It's right near so many major attractions, which made it super convenient for us to stop in and enjoy a great meal while exploring the city, especially during Easter weekend. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience for me and my family. We'll definitely be coming back to Pizzeria Stella every time we visit Philadelphia from here on out.

Plenty of seating including bar seating. There's also bar seating looking over the pizza cooks. It was a delight to see the production of how they make each pizza. One guy does the dough, another adds the toppings, another puts it into the oven, and the last guy adds the finishing touches and either boxes it up or hands it over to a food runner for those dining inside. Nice menu in addition to the delicious pizzas! I recommend the Caesar salad and grilled octopus. They have a very nice cocktail and wine menu as well. Staff were very nice and also very focused on providing good service. I recommend reservations during peak hours and weekends. However, they will do the best to accommodate. Metered parking and a parking garage are very close by.

We ordered the whipped goat cheese appetizer, chicken parm, roasted pork chop, whipped potatoes, and chocolate tiramisu and everything was delicious! We were also able to order the wine pairings that typically can be added to the prixe fix menu which was such a fun and relaxed way to try new wines during our date night. I really appreciated the coat check as well. All in all, I would highly recommend for your next girl's night or date night!

We wanted to go and be able to choose all the options rather than the limited choices of the Valentine's Day special. We ordered the Caesar salad, calamari, and whipped goat cheese to start. Then the Chicken parm and the branzino for our mains. And finished with the carrot cake and espresso gelato. The Caesar salad was very good but the lettuce was very large and it would've been nice to have the lettuce chopped into smaller pieces. The goat cheese dip was amazing and then calamari was perfectly fried and came with warm marinara. Our mains were very good and flavorful, but came out slow. We ended up taking the chicken parm to go since it took a while to come out and we had ordered several apps. The desserts were rich but good and we split and espresso martini which our server said container actual espresso rather than just coffee liquor.

They had a mix of indoor and outdoor seating with very vibrant blue and yellow decor throughout the restaurant and in the plating as well. Our server was very helpful and made small talk with us throughout ordering and checking in. Lavender Arnold Palmer and Cucumber Mojito - Started out with two drinks. Both were very refreshing and light which helped cut through the heavier dishes we were eating. Calamari Alla Griglia - I love grilled calamari but this portion wasn't too big. It was soft and had a nice chewy texture. It had a strong peppery, grilled taste and leaned more on the sour side even without the lemon added. Linguine Diavolo - This was spicier than I expected but the tomato sauce had depth and flavor. It was piping hot and the pasta had a great texture. I do wish they had more shrimp in the dish as the ratio was a bit off. My sister ordered the lamb rack which came with creamy mashed potatoes and a nice pesto sauce. A great place for a fancier meal and take a walk to the waterfront with some pretty views.
