The service was above board from the minute we walked in. Opens at 11 but at 1055, they were not annoyed they had several customers waiting! 2.99 margaritas to accompany our meal was so festive and definitely added to our Mexican dining experience! read more

I love this place the Guitierrez burrito is the best and their tamales are better than I have found anywhere. Service is great as well.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Grove. We had quite a large party here over Labor Day weekend and we're still sat immediately. The staff was very friendly and attentive. All of the food was so good and the prices are amazing. They were having a deal for 2.99 house margs all day! We also had a birthday girl that they helped us celebrate with a free tequila shot and a sombrero. Very fun environment. read more

Grove, OK loves this place. Rightfully so...however. Very, very good Tex-Mex, with it's OUTSTANDING service, it's like a place time, and inflation, left behind, in absolutely the best way. Huge portions, bottomless complimentary chips and salsa, at 2012 prices. Never understaffed yet the servers literally RUN back to the kitchen when it's busy to get more food to bring out. However,...something happened. Not good. Was excited to visit again, as everything had been quite good on previous visits and excitedly ordered the Enchiladas Banderas that had been so delicious. Three different enchiladas each with a different sauce. Beef, chicken, and ooey gooey cheese. This time both the chicken and beef filling seemed different. Both now come in a tomato based sauce. The beef filling tasted like a vinegary salsa had been used to stew the beef. Eww. REALLY no beuno. The cheese enchie? Barely melted. Grove doesn't swamp this place because they cut corners. So whadda ya do? Say something? Offer constructive criticism? Yes, because I love this place and love(d) the food, I said something. Will I return? Yes. Just for the enchiladas? Absolutely. However, I'll probably ask for different fillings. read more

Very very popular place, their style doesn't really fit what I like. I prefer La Casita or Lupe's. Positive: Will get your food quickly. Scary quick. If that's really a positive? Negative: Extremely loud in the restaurant, can tell they are trying to handle it by placing some type of product on the walls. They oddly sprinkle ground beef on top of various dishes. If you are into that. 3 stars is a great score in my opinion for this place. With all of the options in Grove, I don't think I need to go back more than the few times I've been. I am not sure why they are always so busy, could be the extremely quick meal to table? read more

This hasn't been open in this location for long, but it's a well-oiled machine. Service is high speed. Food comes out piping hot. You can tell the inside was an old Charlie's Chicken building, but it's spacious with lots of seating. I need to try more menu items, but it's another great option for Mexican in Grove. read more

The best place for unique items on the menu. The service is great and fast. The food is delicious. The staff is always very friendly. The price is really reasonable. We love this local spot 3 minutes from home. This place never disappoints. The portions are so big that it always turns into lunch the next day as well. 10 stars! read more

Food is typical Tex Mex that is so popular in our area. Operates exactly like Rancho Viejo, Juan's, Garcia's. New location is the old Charlie's chicken . It's very busy and loud. Food was OK and service was good. Restaurant is not real clean, and the floors are greasy Restrooms need more attention due to the volume . I understand why they're so popular just not for me read more

One of our go to Mexican places! The prices are great and the food! Plus the wait staff is very quick, efficient and friendly!

Dirty salsa bowl, beany weenies and a long wait at the exit cash register. Casa Guiterrez is just another Mexican restaurant, far from the best. The waitress delivered two salsa bowls with a small carafe of the bland salsa. My wife unstacked the bowls to find one still stained with the last diners left over salsa. A big failure. We flagged the waitress down for a replacement. Salsa picante is essential to blend up an acceptable version with flavor. Ask for it. My wife went with the Burrito Verde and for me the Fajita Burrito. Both were fairly good with ample servings of meat inside. The beef in my burrito was good lean steak, no unchewable pieces with fresh grilled pepper, onions and tomatoes. Covered with the blended salsa it made a fair meal. My wife's meal came with a weird version of charro beans. She noticed that the beans had an unusual flavor with her first bite. They tasted different because they were different. The beans were mixed with nickel sized slices of hot dogs. Yep, hot dog slices. Skip the beany weenies and order refried beans. Time to pay at the counter up by the entrance. We waited .....and waited.....and waited. Finally, a person comes to the counter to process the bill. The restaurant was fully staffed, but apparently only one person is allowed to work the till. Finally, we are out the door, never to return. Try some of the other restaurants. Better Mexican food can be found in Grove. Average food with adequate table service, concerns with the dishwashing, lousy beany weenies, earns Spike's 3-star rating = Ok but I won't be back and will not recommend. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" on Yelp. I've probably been there. read more

Casa Guitierrez - Mexican Near Me - Grove, Oklahoma

My wife and I have eaten here a few times just to try several menu items so we didn't just judge on a bad day. Casa Guitierrez is just mediocre American Mexican food. They serve overly large portions with mediocre quality. There are at least three better Mexican places in Grove and several others in the surrounding area. I typically enjoy a vibrant Verde sauce with roasted pork or chili colorado. Neither are quality here, stick with their enchiladas or burritos. I hope the quality improves when they move across the street. But I don't remember any restaurants around here that moved into a larger building becoming better. read more

The ambiance is good and the food is average as far a Mexican restaurants go. I prefer Lupes for real Mexican tasting dishes .

Great food, best charro beans ever. Drinks And service exceptional. A lot of choices on the menu read more

I've recently moved back to OK and this is the best Mexican restaurant i have found and beats most of the restaurants in FL.

My wife and I had a great time. The food was good. Service was great. Have no complaints. We'll go back again.

Amazing Mexican food amazing service, clean, friendly, hope they stay around it is the only place we eat in Grove, Oklahoma

Food is always good but the AC was out and the dining experience was horrible with temps around 85-90 degrees in the restaurant. Smoke from the kitchen where the cooks were likely withstanding higher temps. read more

Everything I have eaten here is excellent. The only thing so so was their taco salad but not much you can do with those. Their street tacos are great the shrimp tacos are excellent and many many more items I'll always go back. read more

Great Mexican food, large portions and the friendliest service! Salsa and queso were excellent and the waitress was quick to refill our chips as well as our drinks. I had the fajita beef chimichanga with queso on top. The steak was so flavorful! My husband had the pina fajitas which was steak, chicken shrimp, pineapple, pepper and onions served in a half pineapple! Both were delicious! My mother-in-law had the burrito supreme which she liked. The margaritas were really good too! read more

Very good food, the staff was nice but the process they have for waiting tables doesn't hold anyone accountable. My friend got his food and mine didn't come out for 20 minutes. They were busy but not that busy, I had to ask 3 waiters what was the delay before I finally got my food. It was good. read more

Without a doubt the best Mexican food in Grove. They have the friendliest staff and the best jalapeño margaritas in town.

Great food!Service was great! I like frozen margaritas which they did not have. Hope when they move across the street that will change! I'm

We really enjoyed our dinner last night. It was our first time to try them and was not disappointed. Very great flavor and the entire staff was so helpful and seemed to serve and monitor all tables. The Friday special was Chile verde and was amazing! We will be back for sure. read more

Food was excellent. We came in with a party of 14 and they got tables put together quickly and did a great job with fast service.

Great place. Food is good . Employees are very sweet. Great margaritas. Rice and beans a little bland. I always have a great time

nasty food and was very soggy, very poor customer service, nasty floors. mind you don't come in at 8:30pm bc you'll get looks and glares at you as well as your menu and straws tossed read more

The food is GREAT!! And do is the service. Highly recommend. Even when it's extremely busy they were always helpful.

This is the newest Mexican restaurant in Grove and it's the BEST. We came here on Tuesday and it was packed. Chips and salsa were delish. They also have yummy queso blanco, but don't fill up because the enchilada variety makes it hard to choose just one. They also carry vegetarian plates with great flavor. Make sure you order a margarita to compliment your meal. We will be back soon. read more
