I was a bit skeptical at first, but once I arrived and saw the owner roasting his own beans outside, my concerns were quickly put to rest. Overall, the coffee shop is great. The baristas are always friendly and helpful, and even though the place is often busy and packed, their customer service never falters. As for the drinks, I can only speak to their espresso and basic coffee, but in that area, they do not disappoint. While I don't think the roast is quite as good as Beacon, it is a very strong second in the area. Whenever I'm in Oxnard, I don't hesitate to stop by Dolce Vita for a great caffeinated drink.

The sandwiches themselves were genuinely delicious. I had the Caprese, my husband had the turkey baguette, and both were fresh, flavorful, and substantial enough to fuel actual adventure instead of just delaying hunger by 20 minutes. Each lunch box also came with chips, Fuji water, and a chocolate chip cookie that quietly stole the show. Soft, delicious, and exactly the kind of reward you want after hauling yourself around an island pretending you're far more athletic than you really are. Also, it's delicious. Their matcha blends use coconut sugar (produced from the sap of cut flower buds of the coconut palm), which has a low glycemic index of 35 and lots of healthy minerals. The chai blend is quite good. TIP: They're on daily deal sites (Google, Saveology...) regularly so if you look around and wait for long enough, you'll find the deal and can try them out for a super good price.

I understand why the address isn't given in advance because you can only order online first, this isn't a brick and mortar shop where you show up and place an order. Payments are virtual (Apple Pay etc). There isn't client/person interaction, your drinks are left for you to pickup and it was a seamless transaction. Maybe the first time takes a little getting used to but once you figure it out it's pretty easy. Here's what I got: ICED PUMPKIN CHAI: The perfect cozy fall sweater weather drink.
