Cheap prices. Big portions. Has tons of rice. Each order comes with cold soy drink and tofu soup. Would come back again.

I usually get a double patty with sautéed mushrooms, though the mushrooms do make the bun a tad soggy. There is no combo meal here, all items are separately sold, even for fries and drinks. Complimentary peanuts are available at pick-up area; can sit and wait while munching on some peanuts. Staff is always ready to serve, with speedy service, and food is always ready in no time :) I do wish they have a better garbage can because it is very hard to throw things out without touching the garbage flap. Overall, the space is clean and well-maintained.

Little burger for takeout 3. Poutine for takeout The food was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the patties and their flavourful beef. There was a Maillard reaction which added to the smash burgers effect. I would say the these burgers are better than Fresh burgers which I frequently visit. But If I had to choose I would prefer to come here to five guys burgers from now on. It just had that "je me said quoi" "I don't know" better food experience. The service was also efficient. They had 3 workers working in unison. One at the cash, one on the grill and one doing fries and packaging. It worked perfectly. All in all I will definitely be back and I recommend this franchise for all your smash burger cravings.

It took two people fifteen minutes to make it. - Communication to the customer on how long it would take for my order to be ready wasn't stellar. On Wednesday night, after driving home from Mississauga, I felt like a milkshake. Where should I get one? I remembered that the Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shake location in Scarborough that I had visited months ago offered milkshakes. I also remembered this Boardwalk location in Markham. It used to be South St. Burger. Markham used to have two locations. It now has zero, which is a downer. I came here at nearly 9 pm. There were lots of parking spots. I pulled into one and entered the store. The Boardwalk is a combo store with Lava Grill. There is one entrance for both eateries. I walked in. There was a couple enjoying a meal. I was the only person at the order area, which is shared between the two eateries. It took a while for the man at Boardwalk to come over. He was making burgers. I ordered these items: - Strawberry shake without whipped cream - Dubai chocolate brownie I paid with a credit card. Done. Communication is an issue here. This man continued making burgers and fries. He didn't let me know how long it would take to make my order. I wasn't in a rush, but I didn't know that it would take fifteen minutes for two folks to try and make my milkshake. I did like that the press for the burgers automatically came down on the patties and had a timer. I also watched fries go into hot oil and the basket automatically come up once the fries were done. It was also on a timer. I noticed that burger man got Lava guy to make my shake. They both went into the back. Burger man came back to assemble the burgers. Lava guy was still in the back. My guess was that there was some issue making my shake. Again, I got no communication until Lava guy came out to look at my order and told me it would be two minutes. Um, sure. I didn't believe it. I was right. I decided to sit down. Burger guy had finished making the burgers. He went outside. He came back in. His first communication to me was two fingers up in the area. Two minutes or victory?! Five minutes later, I saw a shake come out from the back. Lava guy was holding it. Lava guy took a box with a brownie and packed it in a paper bag. I got a napkin, a fork, and a spoon. He handed me a pretty strawberry shake and my paper bag. I thanked both guys, more relieved than anything, and left. I got into my car and drove home. Despite the wait and the lack of decent communication, the two items that I had were excellent. The strawberry milkshake was yummy. I loved the strawberry flavour. It was creamy and enjoyable. I had the Dubai chocolate brownie yesterday. It was so good. I loved the crispy bits with pistachio cream and a delectable, moist brownie layer. Yum! I'm thinking that ordering online and coming here to pick up my order would be best. This place seems to take its time because it seems to be on its own time. Boardwalk has happy hour deals at night. I may give it a try next time. Here's hoping that communication is better. (190)

Store was pretty empty at the time, maybe 2 other tables occupied, yet the lobby was still messy, with a mop just sitting on the floor with no wet floor sign, crumbs and such all over the place - and all three washrooms had no hand soap? Service was okay, they were quick and friendly. Burger itself, outside somehow tasted kind of doughy at the base, filling was ok - but nothing to write home about. The experience was probably closer to a 1 - but the service was good, and food was passable. - but it's probably time to fill up that soap? Will be a skip for me -

When we visited, it seemed very understaffed. There were only a couple of people in the kitchen and one cashier who had to take orders and also try to maintain the dining area. Still, the restaurant did not feel clean, and that really affected the experience. Some of the seating also looked worn out. One of the metal chairs appeared broken and had been taped together, which didn't feel very safe or well maintained. With so many great restaurants in the same plaza, it's hard to choose this one. Between the average food and the lack of cleanliness, I don't see myself returning.

Bubble tea has different flavors that it cost $4.95/each, then bubble waffle was adding $1 on top. Why was it different than the post? Only the specific sets were $4.95. I got a regular cup of Almond flavored bubble tea ($4.95) with coconut jelly and grass jelly (+$0.5) and bubble waffle (+$1), so at the end it was $7.30 for the set. The drink was too sweet even though we asked for 50% sugar, the waffle was good and hot, because it was made when you order. Pretty crispy. It's usually a one man show and so each order is a little bit of a wait. But heck, for that price point, this is pretty good. We ordered a waffle with condensed milk and peanut butter before. He loaded it up with filling and it tasted pretty good. A bit heavy for my taste so I'll stick to the bubble waffles. Next visit we did get the mango bubble waffle with coconut shreds and it smelled so good!! Taste lived up to the smell. I wish it were a bit more crispy, but with fillings, it's hard to achieve that same texture. Milk tea with tapioca was good. Pretty hk style. The drinks aren't the best, obviously, but at the price point, you can't exactly be expecting chatime or something fancy. Lower your standards a bit. I think it's really fair pricing for a wide variety of snack foods and drinks.

The gentleman was incredibly nice in explaining what the top favs were and was even nice to allow me to add an ingredient, as one of my spuds had something removed (no coleslaw for me). My order consisted of Mexican Fiesta and Nashville Chick. My husband took his Mexican fiesta potato as is, but I ended up switching my pulled chicken for fried chicken. The potatoes were amazing! The base potato was so flavourful and not bland at all, evenly seasoned on its own without the toppings. The toppers were delicious and went well with the spud. It hasn't even been a week, and I'm already jonesing for my next potato bar experience.
