So excited for this Lavazza machine in our room
    Samantha B.

Beautiful, historical hotel. Loved the decor and ambience. We stayed in a standard queen room and it was quite roomy. Bed was super comfortable I loved that the sink was separate from the shower/toilet-I can do my makeup and hair while my guy takes a shower etc. There was a little condensation dripping from the AC but it didn't really bother us much The Lavazza machine in our room was a highlight for me Like other reviewers have said-the walls are thin and it's a noisy hotel We stayed on the third floor and had a room that could be adjoining-the rooftop patio/bar is on the 4th floor and so expect to hear music from 5 PM-10 PM/11 PM. We could hear everything our neighbors were doing/talking about, but we just turned the tv volume up We stayed there on Tuesday-Friday but I can imagine it getting a little more louder on Friday/Saturday night All this didn't bother us much, but if you are looking for a peaceful night-this isn't your hotel It was nice that they gave us complimentary chairs/towels/umbrellas but I much prefer to not have to lug everything across the street, plus I prefer lounge chaises Circa 39 Hotel down the street, is the same price, but they actually have their own beach w/ chaises and umbrellas set up-because of this we probably will be staying at Circa 39 next time The restaurant and the rooftop patio were a nice treat-the branzino in banana leaf was one of the best dishes I've ever had Definitely make sure you go to the mothership-Faena-it's just down the street and their breakfast is amazing

Location is great !!The place is old However is very Chick, need a little improvement with technology....The Costumer Services is fabulous!!! Everybody is super nice and professional..they make me feel very welcoming and special ..Jorgito in the front desk was professional and very sweet...The only one thing I didn't apriciate was an Asian woman at the restaurant, very rude...the rest of the staff deserve 10 ....

Location for this hotel is great. Steps from the beach - and lounge chairs and umbrellas are included in your room price. The decor is nice for a historical building. The main interior room is stunning and great for photos. Being a hotel however, the service was mediocre at best. I went to the restaurant and ordered a coffee at around 5pm. The server literally served me cold coffee. When I asked her about it, she told me it was made at 6am which is why it was cold and they don't make more throughout the day. Why serve it to me then??? Why have it on the menu after breakfast time??She told this to me in a way like I should have known this. I sent it back. This is very basic service skill a hotel should have. Pretty unacceptable. I really want to give this hotel more than 3 stars but it's super unfortunate the lacked in service. Thanks for the cold coffee?

What a great choice! Plan to park on the street and walk through the front doors of the hotel. The bartender served the floor and was really friendly and professional. The menu has lots of variety and everything looked good. I had the spinach and cheese empanadas first. They were incredible. Perfect temperature. Cheese the melted and not too hot or cold. Made me wish I had just ordered more for my entree. I had the turkey chili and sweet potato fries. It was really good too. Just enough of a serving to fill you up. I added tabasco and it was just right.

    This is a $400 a night bathroom!

So sad this place has potential. But they miss the mark. Price is so overpriced and online photos should be removed as false advertisement. The service is mediocre. No coffee in the rooms but it dose have coffee maker lol. I Went downstairs and complained to the front desk giving them a chance to tell me why the bathroom look laughing like the pictures. I actually showed the girl a picture of the bathroom that was moldy and in desperate need of caulking. Her response to me it was an old which is beside the point. I would recommend I stay somewhere else. The hotel itself is beautiful but the rooms are severely outdated and the bathrooms are disgusting. Also they charged you and resort fee but the hotel has no resort. There is no spa there is no pool so I'm not sure what the resort fee is for I am changing it to a 1 star after I received a lame response from the management.

    Cool lobby.

I liked the way the place looked, but what an unusual establishment. The front desk is a table, and you might have to wait a little if you get in late. Parking is terrible. Try to get a place in front. It is a good deal to park there. Food good, room good, but you can't go to the Faena and use the pool. They recommended we try and crash a different pool. I recommend they fix that problem soon. Top floor is nice but loud as hell.

We stayed for my birthday and had the greatest time at this hotel. From the moment you walk in with Christopher greeting you and he remembered my name the entire stay to the front desk young ladies we had a blast. The rooms were really clean and nice we had the Queen suite and it was laid out nice. ERIC the bartender was the greatest with his drinks and so much knowledge of the entire Miami scene!! He was AWESOME!!! He gave us lots of places to go to while we were there! We even extended our stay and the hotel staff worked to make sure we stayed with them!! And accommodated us with a room even though they were pretty full! Will def visit this hotel again!

I traveled to Miami by myself and stayed here from May 8th 2015 until May 13th. The hotel is very pretty on the inside and very clean. The staff are very accommodating and all of them are nice and friendly! I stayed in a queen suite which was huge....I had a small issue with lack of hot water in my shower, I asked to have it fixed twice but I'm not sure it ever got fixed, I took luke warm showers the whole week. The area around the hotel is under a lot of construction and I'm usually a very light sleeper, plus my room was on the side facing the construction, however the noise wasn't as bad as I expected. There is a public parking lot across the street from the hotel, it's free from 6pm-8am (I think) there's also another one at 27th and collier, otherwise if you have to park you'll need to find street parking. I didn't have a car while there but I figure that info is useful for people who will have one. There is access to the beach directly across from the hotel (literally a 2 minute walk if that) with their own lounge chairs and towels for guests to use There is no pool or fitness area in the hotel, but there is a boardwalk/running path on the beach which is super convenient. The restaurant in the hotel has some really good food!! ( the empanadas, burger and the Apple cinnamon bread pudding were my favorites) I ate lunch there most days. There's no breakfast that I saw even though the hotel website shows a breakfast PDF menu. There is a small deli/supermarket across the street and to the left of the hotel that you can get breakfast type things from. I definitely recommend using uber to get anywhere in Miami/Miami beach if you don't have a car. Super convenient, friendly, quick and cheap :) taking an uber from the hotel, it takes about 15 mins to get to south beach (without traffic) about 10 mins to get to Lincoln road mall and about 20-25 mins to get to the shops/entertainment area at bayside (located in downtown Miami near the port of miami) Overall my experience with Casa Claridge was excellent and I would definitely stay here again!

Queen bed room. Modern and awesome.

While on a last minute trip to Miami, I hopped on hotel tonight and booked Casa Claridge the same day I arrived. This turned out to be a home run from multiple standpoints. This hotel was recently renovated and now looks like an artsy paradise. When you walk in the hotel you instantly see a modernly decorated living room which serves as a community room for all guests. It's decked out in red lighting, couches and modern decor all around. The check in process to 45 seconds.. I know because I clocked it. Given that I you're in Miami and want to start enjoying the city, it doesn't get much better than that. The room, which was a basic room with a queen bed, was perfect. Just the right size for two people, modernly updated with white touches, tile floor, and an interesting bathroom set up that houses the sink outside the actual bathroom. The room is just spacious enough and full of light. Though it's modern, the decor seems specifically chosen to represent the classic culture of Miami and display a Spanish paradise vibe. I thought it was perfect. This perfect experience was then brought home by the bar in the lobby. I was fortunate enough to have the best mojito of my life made by the bartender in the hotel. This guy put as much effort into making a blueberry mojito as I've ever seen. It tasted even better then his exceptional effort. Amazing hotel, unique decor, classic Miami vibe and an awesome bar.. What more can you ask for? Well you also get free access to the beach across the street via the hotel. Comes complete with a concierge who walks the beach ensuring you have all that you need.. Winning! The only slight negative to this hotel is that there is only one elevator and it moves quite slowly. Otherwise, complete home run. Excellent experience here and an excellent option when in Miami. Short drive to the heart of south beach, but away from all the madness that comes with it. Congrats to this hotel. You'll definitely see me again!

The decor is amazing ! I loved the vibe of the place. The menu has a lot of good stuff, I went for Sunday brunch. Their coffee is delicious and the Huevos Rancheros were good. The service is a bit weird, they don't have a host and you don't get told to sit down I just did. Our server only approached us and said "what you like" she didn't greet us but oh well. The food was amazing I would go back and hopefully I get another server.

    Calamari with aioli, Delicous!

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

You are walking through the area with all the guests and their luggage in your super large robe that doesn't close very well. I did not enjoy this. Some disappointing things which was not their fault is the parking garage construction noise even on Sundays. The noise took away from my spa experience. They did nothing for the noise control. Also, the SPA requests you must arrive 30 minutes before your treatment time. I got my parking validated BUT we stayed for brunch who also validated our parking but we went over the 4 hours so we got no discount for parking and we were charged the full $35 fee plus tip for the valet. The valet staff was quite nasty telling me we were there too long for the discount BUT each one of those alone qualified for a discounted valet. You can not do both in the 4 hour window.

I ended up taking the stairs to the 9th floor the rest of our stay. They did fix the elevator but this happened to quite a few guests and they didn't shut the elevator. Our complimentary breakfast (free with my Marriott status) was not the best. Breakfast is served in the attached Mexican restaurant which is not owned by Marriott. It is not a buffet. Small menu with the basics. Food was fair. We enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach. The pool restaurant has the best hotdogs! And we also enjoyed the quinoa salad.

The rooms have been thoughtfully re-designed, but still have that cold Miami cinder block feel. In other words you won't do more than sleep in them. The pool area is fantastic with a bay view and plenty of chairs. Lido Grill, the main restaurant, is nicely done and people / pet friendly. Service was good, once you got their attention, which was on you, not them...we had the lobster, fairly priced at $39, but was like rubber and inedible. Sides were a throw away. Drinks were very good. Other points, nice mini bar in room, however NO coffee in room and coffee shop doesn't open until 7 AM. A regular room, facing back away from bay, dinner for 2, minor mini bar invasion (2 drinks) valet, was over $1100. Not worth the cost.

Today I attended a private brunch for work and I wanted to check two small bags at the front desk because I didn't want to take them into the brunch. I was told it would be five dollars for outside guests to check a bag. This is news to me. Never before have I been charged for this in the over 13 years that I've been going to this property. That isn't a luxurious experience nor is it up to standard, hotel guest or not. Service was polite outside of the charge. Food was average at best. A few hours later I attended another lunch at Bellini at the Mr. C hotel. I asked to check the same bags at their front desk. No charge. When I picked up my bags, they asked me how lunch was and if it was my first time at the property. Would I like some water to go (complimentary)? It was not my first time at Mr. C but this service is what I come to expect at a property of this nature. Not to be nickel and dimed for a basic service. This new experience paired with the fact that I was overcharged for drinks on my last visit to the standard (November) to which I called to rectify after realizing once I was home, I was told they would call me back and they never did. I'm soured on the whole property.

Fontainebleau Miami isn't just a hotel -- it's a full‑scale Miami moment. The kind of place where…read moreyou walk into the lobby and instantly feel like you've stepped into a glossy magazine spread. High ceilings, marble everywhere, and a buzz that tells you you're in the right place. What impressed me most? There's genuinely plenty to do for all ages, which is not something you can say about every Miami resort. Whether you're traveling with kids, teens, adults, or a multigenerational crew, everyone finds their lane here. The pool scene is the heartbeat of the property. Multiple pools, each with its own personality -- family-friendly areas with space to splash, quieter corners for lounging, and the high-energy spots where the music and cocktails flow. Service was dialed in across the board: fast, friendly, and always one step ahead. Rooms were spotless and stylish, with balconies that make you want to order room service just to soak in the view a little longer. Housekeeping kept everything crisp, and every request was met with that effortless "of course" attitude. Dining is another standout. From quick bites to full-on fine dining, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even the grab-and-go spots felt elevated. And if nightlife is your thing, you don't need to leave the property -- the energy here after dark is pure Miami. But if you're traveling with kids or just want a low-key night, the resort still feels comfortable and accessible. Fontainebleau nails that rare balance of iconic luxury and all-ages fun. It's bold, glamorous, and buzzing in all the right ways, yet still manages to be welcoming and easy to enjoy no matter who you're traveling with. A true Miami classic that continues to deliver. Enjoy

We didn't even stay at the hotel, we simply had a Mother's Day brunch reservation at Hakkasan and dessert at Chez Bon Bon. What should have been a nice family outing turned into an absolute nightmare. When we went to valet to retrieve our car, the lobby was filled with angry guests sitting around waiting HOURS for their vehicles. People were openly saying they had been waiting 1-3 HOURS and some had even missed flights because valet couldn't deliver their cars. Seeing at least 50 frustrated people stranded there was complete chaos. At that point I started panicking. I had my 3 children with me, my elderly parents, and all of my baby's formula and diapers locked inside the car with no idea when we would ever get it back. Completely unacceptable for a luxury hotel that charges premium prices. It was also $58 to valet! Thank God I drive a Tesla because I opened the live camera and location tracking and immediately saw my car had been sitting in the exact same spot where I dropped it off over 2.5 hours earlier. When we walked to the vehicle ourselves, we found the inside completely ransacked. Items from my center console were thrown everywhere and the driver and passenger seats were covered in sweat. Clearly multiple employees had been sitting inside our vehicle. When my husband confronted them, they claimed they had "misplaced the key card" and were searching for it. Then when asked why the inside of the car was trashed, they actually tried to say it was already like that. Absolutely insulting. This completely destroyed any trust I had in the Fontainebleau. I don't care if valet is a "separate department" it is still YOUR property, YOUR staff, and YOUR responsibility. Guests should not have to fear waiting 1-3 hours for their cars, missing flights, or having employees rummage through their personal belongings because the hotel can't manage basic operations. I understand it was Mother's Day and maybe they were understaffed, but the complete lack of communication, organization, accountability, or even basic customer service was disgraceful. Not once did anyone proactively update guests, apologize properly, offer compensation, or even waive valet charges. For a place that markets itself as luxury, this experience was beyond embarrassing.
