Honour hosts lots of great events, along with great coffee!…read more **Honour doesn't keep any $$ from event ticket sales, instead helps support a local small biz! How cool is that?** Recommend getting to events early if you want to park in the free lot next to Honour otherwise free street parking is available but you may have to walk a few blocks They have really good Açaí bowls, raw juice, coffee, breakfast sandwich and bakery items Like this coffee shop in the summer! The patio is nice, spacious and dog friendly. For events: They can get crowded and have a long line for coffee so just know ahead of time! Great for business but sometimes gets a little overwhelming so plan ahead! I typically get to their events when they first start so maybe come a little later if you want less busy. Overall, if you haven't been here you should check it out!

The inside is fairly small but outside is great! There is a patio in the front with large picnic tables and a patio in the back with lots of extra seating. There was lots of shade back there too when I went around 10am. Both patios and inside the coffee shop are dog friendly. I just got a coffee this time, but I'll be back to try the bakery items and get one of their açai bowls! Service was great, the workers behind the bar were very friendly and welcoming. Big parking lot too.

Ordered many items and enjoyed everything!…read more The Acai bowl was my favorite. Very refreshing and nutrient dense! I loved the drizzled toppings along with the heaping pile of fresh fruit! The new gnocchi bowl is worth ordering. It comes with a delicious garlic parm dressing! The smoothie I enjoy at the beach on the hot summer day to keep cool with fresh ingredients. My friend bought the coffee and was real impressed! I took a sip and it was nice a creamy! If you are looking for something cool and refreshing or a nutrient dense bowl visit Powl to eat the rainbow

It strongly reminded me of rude people at kiosks in malls. (I almost asked if they were art students.) They kept telling me how wonderful sea moss is, and I asked why my wonderful doctor hasn't recommended it along with the other supplements he tells me to take. I finally took a sample after hearing these people sing the praises of sea moss. About 2 hours later I had a stomach ache, was tired, was achy everywhere and it lasted through the next day. I looked up sea moss and found out that is where manufacturers get carrageenan, and makes people sick. Lots of people avoid this ingredient like the plague. It was a FAMINE food, like tree bark! If you take a sample of this I recommend you do it like the guy in Parks and Rec. Dump it in the trash and ask for another.

The space itself is cute, and there's seating for small and medium-sized groups! Exposed brick and bright colors invite you in to this tropical bowl, smoothie, and coffee shop. The service was not great...we waited 45 minutes for two cortados, a smoothie, and a bagel. There was one small group in front of us, and they waited like 25 minutes for their products as well. The food and coffee were only okay...the bagel, cream cheese, and salmon was an extremely small serving for the price, the Blue Colada smoothie came out a bit gray in color which wasn't super appetizing, and the coffee was fairly standard. I was also disappointed that they didn't have dairy milk options for their smoothies...I'm not a soy or oat milk fan...and they definitely had dairy milk for the coffee, so why not allow that sub for the smoothie? Likely won't be returning, but I guess it's an okay spot if you are interested in a smoothie and have some time to chill! The Acai bowls did look solid!

They had smoothies, bowls, drinks and more. Everything was a bit pricier. Even the add on flavors were a bit more than other coffee shops & they weren't made in house from what I could see. I ordered an iced caramel latte, it was good. I was the only one there at the time so my drink came out right away. It's a super cute shop and I'd definitely come back to try a bowl or smoothie when I want a bit more as they look good!

We came here for restaurant week and had a very good experience!…read more Our server was great. Very personable and present without being overwhelming. The ambiance was very nice too. The place was very busy and had a good energy about it. I had the Jambalaya, which had chicken, sausage, and shrimp. It was pretty good and had a nice spicy kick. A good portion as well. Girlfriend had the shrimp etouffee with grits. It was nicely blackened and on a big bed of grits. Also spicy. Friend had the original lobster roll. He was surprised it came on Texas toast and not a roll. But he really enjoyed it. The dessert was a sinlme but delicious Cookit with ice cream. I recommend for restaurant week. And if you like seafood in the form of things like the lobster roll or shrimp etouffee that you don't get other places. I thought the jambalaya was fine but unremarkable. Not pictured here was the lobster mac and cheese. Which was only a small appetizer and I thought underwhelming (also, I don't like corn).

Smack Shack knows seafood, and the Seafood Paella proves it…read more The Seafood Paella arrives packed with perfectly cooked shrimp, clams, mussels, smoky sausage, and saffron rice that's loaded with flavor. Every bite brings something different, and the fresh seafood really shines without being overshadowed by the seasoning. The portion is generous enough to share, but you probably won't want to. The atmosphere is lively, the seafood tastes fresh, and the kitchen clearly pays attention to presentation as much as flavor. If you're looking for one of the Twin Cities' best seafood dishes, this one belongs on your must-order list. Fresh, colorful, and packed with flavor--Smack Shack delivers every time.
