It honestly tastes like the food is being prepared by people who are not familiar with authentic Brazilian recipes. Overall, the food quality is extremely disappointing. Second, the customer service is absolutely terrible. I've been to this restaurant four or five times, and almost every single visit, something has gone wrong with my order. The staff have brought me the wrong soda, the wrong dish, or meals with missing items. Even with takeout orders, they consistently forget basic things like utensils or napkins. Today was another example. I ordered a heart of palm and cheese pastel, and instead, they gave me a chicken and Catupiry pastel. How difficult is it to get a simple order right? And to make matters worse, the prices are quite high! This is not an inexpensive restaurant, and the quality of both the food and service is nowhere near what customers should expect for what they're paying. As a Brazilian, it's especially disappointing to see a restaurant representing Brazilian cuisine while delivering food that tastes nothing like it. All of these were hot, fresh, and delicious, and I especially liked the Pao de Queijio for its chewy texture and cheesy unctuousness. We continued with the Trindade Acai Bowl, made of a base of açaí blended with fruit, topped with strawberries, bananas, granola, and peanut butter. The acai base had a perfectly creamy, frozen texture, which paired nicely with the toppings. From the breakfast selections, the Panqueca de Acai was a stack of lemon ricotta pancakes topped with a scoop of açaí and served with fruit, syrup, and butter. From the specialty plates, the Frango Grelhado was a simple grilled, sliced chicken breast served over mixed grilled vegetables; but my favorite dishes were the Feijoada, a traditional black bean stew with beef, pork ribs, and sausage; and the Bobo de Camarao, a chowder of shrimp, pureed cassava, coconut milk, and vegetables. Each of the plates was served with flavored jasmine rice, farofa (toasted cassava flour), and sautéed collard greens. I especially liked the Feijoada for its creaminess from the black beans; the Camarao for its earthy, creamy coconut milk base; and the farofa for its savory flavor and chewy texture. Overall, the food here was all delicious and beautifully presented, and everything came at a good value too!
