Coffee was your typical underwhelming breakfast joint type. Advised by server that first round of eggs, didn't quite make the cut.. so I waited a couple extra minutes, and they eggs where beautifully runny. Hollandaise was ok, not too salty or runny. Just missing that extra something in flavour. The star of this dish is absolutely the massive thickness of the peameal bacon. Homefries, deep fried, adequate not special or fantastic. I asked for hot sauce, and sadly Franks is their go to. Better than Tabasco but in my opinion it's a touch basic and better options exist. This place clearly has the signs of consistency to make something amazing. Almost $3.50 for a coffee is obscene. $19.00 for the benny is a bit too much. Flavour ok, but the cost was pretty outrageous. Chop 10% off the price which is still a decent price point for them, shave the size of the peameal bacon a touch and add more flavour you'd have great value and great food.

I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte with an espresso shot and I substituted the milk for almond milk. The matcha itself was of high quality. It was earthy and nutty which was complemented by the almond milk. The espresso was rich and had citrus notes which I wasn't really fond of. I tend to like my coffee more with the bold and chocolatey notes. The service itself was okay. The two baristas took turns helping every customer. It seems like they have regulars visiting often. I liked how the male barista was very friendly to the customers. Seating is pretty limited, and you have to pay for parking if you're planning on staying here to chill. Price-wise, it's comparable to a 16oz drink from Starbucks but the quality is way better here at The Lone Wolf. I may have to come back and try other stuff on their menu.

My last visit was rather bothersome. Having lunch with a client, I ordered the fish and a Greek salad. Salad was what it was, yet the fish didn't have its usual crisp and flavour. As I was peeling the batter off my halibut, the server asked me what the issue was. I politely explained, nothing was corrected, and to my surprise the cook came out and started blasting me while praising it's consistency and appeal. Instead of making it an issue here or on social media, I attempted to take up the matter with the owner. The owner accused me of previous complaints. 1. Which was a suggestion of a better hot sauce 2. A visit where an order of eggs Benedict which was not soft, but cooked above medium. Simply asked for it to be cooked as asked. 3. I feel for your client, having to see you lowering yourself to this level. Hopefully you are not in the customer service field.' An unexpected response lacking tact and resolve. When I would never utter words like that to someone I don't know, especially in public.

Unfortunately I am rating this one stars for a reason. For price point, please review my menu pictures the cafe environment has changed since the last set of reviews. When you order the menu is very detailed but no photo to show size (but that's why we have yelp). When ordered the strawberry cheese cake crepe. I watched the order made. The crepe was undercooked and thick. The undercook was attributed with the thick layer of batter placed down. The cheese cake filling was a cheese cake and sour creme with vanilla and lots of sugar. The plate itself was cheese cake, but in a crepe, I think the cream cheese could have been batched fresh with yogurt for a lighter filling than this premade stuff or fold in some whip cream to lighten it up. And even a fold of strawberry syrup would have made the crepe taste like a strawberry cheese cake crepe. It had fresh strawberries but will honestly give a sour taste. The dessert was glazed with caramel. The washrooms are located in the back but wasn't stocked with hand soap. It's a nice date location but crepes could use enhancement. I dont think I would return for the crepe, maybe will try a coffee drink next time.
