    Branzino

Unexpected Mediterranean gem! We stumbled upon this spot and were genuinely impressed. The interior is chic, beautifully designed, and sets the tone for a great dining experience. They have a thoughtful wine selection--our Albariño was incredibly smooth. The menu is on the smaller side, but everything we tried was packed with flavor. We were a group of seven and ordered several dishes to share. The charred octopus with potatoes was a standout--so good we ended up ordering three plates. The mussels were also excellent, and the wood-fired pizza was a definite crowd-pleaser. The branzino came as a surprisingly generous portion with potatoes and salad, easily enough for two people to share. We finished with the tiramisu, which was exquisite and the perfect sweet ending. The owners were warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, which made the experience even better. We're already looking forward to coming back to this new Mediterranean getaway.

Locating a place with Happy Hour + vegetarian options to meet people after a long flight can be tricky. Enter Casa Blu. I was quite happy with the taste of the Margherita pizza . Our group ordered a variety of items from the happy hour menu, but most of what they had was beverage: beer and wine. Nicely done interior. As a food photographer (off duty), this would be a great space for a photo shoot. To make the pizza a bit more visually appealing, plan where to place basil better.

Craving that burrata, steak tartare, striped bass, cocktails and bread. Back North, and missing our friends at Casa Blu and the great vibe and warmth of spirit from every single person who is a team member there. Here's the plan: land at RSW. Drop bags. Head to Casa Blu.

Delicious food, friendly staff, decor is nice, and I like the open air kitchen. We had the Bucatini al Pesto, Honey and Brie Pizza, the Tiramisu Tres Leches, and the Lemon Cake - Great flavors! We enjoyed hearing from one of the owners the history of the family and their Bolivian roots. We will be back!

The presentation of their octopus was delightful however it was extremely tough and difficult to eat.

Went to this restaurant for the first time last night and left with a very mixed bag of feelings…read moreabout this place. On the positive note - food was fresh and absolutely delicious! The drinks, while a bit pricey for some of the options, were on point as well. The service was just OK - they were not at capacity by far and we had to wait quite a bit to order another round of drinks or pay the bill. The negative experience - apparently they do not clean the chairs. Please check before you sit down. My new dress is basically going into the trash because I sat in a pool of olive oil or who knows what else someone decided to wipe on that chair and the entire back side of my dress is one huge greasy stain!! Thank goodness the restaurant is located in a mall and I was able to go to a store to purchase a new outfit. We made our server aware of the situation but all we got was a quick apology and no other effort to make things right. Overall, just disappointed in how they handled this situation. I walked out of the place in a bad mood, lost a beautiful new dress and had to spend another $70 on a fresh outfit - sorry the food was good and all but not worth this aggravation.

MEDITERRANEAN NIGHT…read more Enjoyed a light, tasty meal for my final birthday din din with one of my bestest gal pals at Amfora in Coconut Point. An open kitchen concept that is bright and roomy. Not my favorite decor in the world but extremely nice service! I craving something fresh & healthy after a holiday bonanza of food - we decided on Mediterranean cuisine and knowing Amfora is consistently delicious, we landed here! Their Grand Mezze platter offers creamy greek cheeses, hummus, baba ghnoush, and marinated peppers and olives. Really great offering! Then we split the Beet Salad with poppyseeds, walnuts, goat cheese, and pomegranate dressing - YUM! The blue crab gnocchi with saffron sauce was to die for (although I didn't understand the corn in there!) They even provided a scrumptious, decadent piece of their homemade tiramisu for my bday dessert - CHEERS TO 29 (again)

The traditional Greek salad was AMAZING: fresh tomatoes, creamy feta cheese, delicious olives, and red onions -- absolutely fresh and flavorful. The pasta with meat sauce was also incredible and full of flavor. The manager was wonderful, and the entire staff made us feel very welcome. Customer service was truly excellent. The only small suggestion I would mention is that the bathroom faucets were not working properly, and the bathrooms could use a little extra TLC to match the rest of the beautiful restaurant. Other than that, everything was absolutely delicious, welcoming, and we will definitely return!

We started with my favorite drink, an Espresso martini. Our appetizer was Eggplant Capres, which was delicious with the Eggplant cooked perfectly and had fresh tomato and fresh mozzarella and perfect for the two of us. My husband had the Porcini Ravioli with Skirt Steak, I opted for the special of Corvina, which was a amazing white fish similar to a Chilean Bass in a delicious Scampi sauce but not a typical scampi sauce but their house made white sauce, simply amazingly scrumptious!!! It came with grilled Asparagus and mashed potatoes. For dessert we shared a Chocolate Mousse with fresh whipped cream with a popover drizzled with chocolate and so light and fluffy. Our waiter Zach was so pleasant and extremely attentive to make sure we were satisfied but not too bothersome, he was very aware of the specials without looking at a list but from memory, which I appreciated, it showed me he really is excited about what is offered and proud of the specials and made them all sound so delicious !!!!!!!! We will definitely ask for him again, he also spent time to chat as well. The ambiance inside is warm and cozy considering they are in a mall and make you feel comfortable and gave you a feeling of being in somebody's pleasant home. If you haven't found this place yet, please do your stomach a favor and enjoy all these wonderful, delightful restaurant Mediterranean foods!!!

I always try to be polite and respectful especially to those that are working , however, she did not make my experience a pleasant one. I've been to CAVA twice now and I love their food! Usually the workers are nice there, as they should be, but this woman made it seem like it was too much trouble to answer my questions I had ABOUT THE FOOD. She was just nasty overall and every time I asked for something extra ( mind you I kept it respectful and even smiled) she'd let out a sigh as if I was bothering her for doing her job. Pathetic honestly. The rest of the staff seemed nice. They all had smiles on their faces and treated guests with kindness, courtesy and respect. She then made a comment "we aren't allowed to give you extra dressing but I'll do it today, next time, no." What a weirdo Maybe if she'd done her job correctly and explained/ asked if I've been there before, I would've known that. Either way I would've paid extra for dressing but Miss Priss felt that would've put the restaurant into bankruptcy, because clearly what else could have been the reason for being so hostile and withhold dressing that I am paying for? Anywho, management give that lady a break or a pat on the back for doing a horrible job today but hopefully she isn't always like that... I doubt it though. I wish I read her name but she has black hair, some moles on her face, and an accent that resembles Indian.
