This place was recommended by the hotel. It was close so I gave it a try. I was seated immediately, got chips and salsa along with my drink. The server gave me enough time to look at the menu still being close enough that I did not wait when I was ready. I ordered the super chimichanga, which is a shrimp, a chicken and a beef chimichanga with rice and quacamole salad. She wouldn't let me swap the rice for beans so I ordered them on the side. All of the chimichangas were really good but I could not finish them all. There was so much food. They seem to have trivia on Tuesday, I get this in a bar but I find it annoying in a restaurant but to each their own. The food was good, the service was good and the prices were reasonable. Casa Blanca should be rated a five. This was excellent Mexican. I had the massive Burrito Queso, a $21 dollar burrito stuffed with everything and cheese. It's kind of like a stuffed crust burrito. The salsa was fresh and the chips were warm. My fiancé was pleased with her quesadilla. But I had to drop it down to a 3 - star and even considered a 2- star because they committed Highway robbery on me. My sweet tea was almost $4. That's really expensive but what took it to the ridiculous point was when I asked for one to go....and they charged me for another sweet tea! The waitress brought our ticket, I asked her for one to go, she picked up the ticket, brought the ticket back, ad added another $3.94 to the bill. My fiance paid for this meal and she didn't tell me about it until after it was paid for. They could have kept that sweet tea, though it was very good. It costs very little for restaurants to make sweet tea. I can deal with sweet tea and the refills I'm going to get to be around $3. This tea was $4, not to mention that the entrees seemed higher than normal. But it was good quality. But to be charged another $4 for a sweet tea to go after I just ate in your restaurant is ludicrous. And for the last let's screw you over, I added sour cream to my burrito and was charged $1.50. I had no sour cream on my burrito. Excellent food but I won't come back because of the service. read more

We were traveling, and looked at the reviews of this place and decided to try it, and we couldn't believe the amount of food we were served. I had the quesadillas deluxe and my husband had the enchiladas supreme! So much food. The quesadilla was so full of chicken and onions and peppers and the chicken was seasoned so well and so tender. I am new to the area and we found this restaurant on Yelp. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. The chips are just how we like them, thin and warm. Salsa was good but not great. Tip: if you like spicy ask for the hot stuff. It was hot and tasted great. I had the Lucia's plate (I think that's the name) 3 enchiladas. I had two beef and one chicken. 1 with red sauce. 1 with green sauce. 1 with cheese sauce. These were really good. I was shocked to get fresh vegetables that were cooked just perfect. Done but not soft. Nice change to the usual beans and rice. Serving is large so I took half home to enjoy the next day. We both had a Border Margarita. These were excellent! I came in by myself and asked for water and a margarita made with Hornitos, which the server said they were out and she can't make a margarita with a special tequila because they are already premade. And I asked her for Herradura & they were out of that also... The sign outside said taquitos are 8.99, and so I ordered a top shelf margarita. It was by far the worst margarita I have ever had but my server left, so I could not tell her that when I got the taquitos, they were flavorless when I went to pay my bill at the front because my server had left and did not receive a bill, it was $33. So the prices are definitely not correct and the food was not good. I have eaten here before, but I definitely will not be back. read more

We were up in the area today checking on our rental property and decided to stop in for dinner before we headed back to the beach. This was our first time back in your restaurant in over three years! So glad you're still here. Love the update to the interior! Everything was brighter and the restaurant felt more open .The staff was so friendly! Everyone was smiling. I think we got our food in less than ten minutes. Fastest service we've probably ever had at a sit down establishment. And the food was fantastic! I am so disappointed today. Their salsa is not chunky like it used to be, it actually looks like they just added a ton of water to it. The chicken and rice does not come with cheese sauce mixed in it anymore which is the main reason I always loved getting it and it also seems to have a lot of water mixed in. I always have pineapple tea when I come here and the first one was great but the second one tastes like they only added a very small amount of pineapple juice to the tea. We were all happy with our choices: Enchiladas Supreme, Carne Asada (with cactus and avocado on the side), Tacos Meridas (shredded beef with guacamole - yum!!!), and Nachos Supreme. The clean, large restaurant is good for groups. We decided to stop based on other good reviews, and the fact that it was two easy minutes on and off the freeway. This is the second time the south's Mexican cuisine has surprised us with its authenticity. The servers and cooks all appeared to be Mexican, and a lot of locals were obviously return visitors. They seat you quickly and take your order quickly. Terrific service with great food. My favorite is the chimichanga. Bathrooms are clean. They also have a buffet at lunch time which is very convenient if you only have time for a short lunch. read more
