    Chicken marsala (tasty iced tea)
    Salomon W.

Went to a celebration luncheon in a group of thirty; we were seated in four tables in a large room easily accessible from the back parking area; the front of the building has several stone steps. Service was impeccable: very friendly, timely. We were started off with delicious bruschetta on thin slices of bread; followed up with garlicky butterflied shrimp and plates of delicious charcuterie. Nice garden (or Caesar) salads followed. For an entree I ordered chicken marsala, served with surprisingly food vegetables (not the usual soft, tasteless stuff, they had crunch and flavor, plus half a small potato, not dry at all), which was superb (other choices included chicken francese and salmon). Coffee and simple pastries ended a wonderful meal. I was very impressed with everything. Place was loud, but manageable. Ample parking. I'll go back.

Came here for my mother's birthday, and had a great experience, although with a few exceptions. Ambiance: A calm and relaxed atmosphere Service: Phenomenal, waiters are always attentive Food: This is where some notations need to be made. Food is priced quite high for what it truly is. Not only that, but each dish we ordered (party of 3) was extremely lacking in seasoning. So lacking to the point that we had to salt and pepper our food numerous times while eating. What truly saved our night was the impeccable service and attention to detail. We did not send our food back, though I'm sure if we did it would have been corrected. That's why I believe 4 stars is appropriate.

My husband and I always come here for special occasions and always have a wonderful experience. Servers are kind, food comes out quick, and the food is delicious every time!

    Pink Sauce Tortellini
    Becca H.

This place has some really good pasta and chicken dishes. So many options to choose from and everything comes out pretty tasty. I got some pink sauce tortellini and it was my favorite. The pink sauce was very flavorful and perfect with the tortellini. The vegetables were decent and desserts not bad. The service was great as our server consistently checked in on us. It's a cute Italian spot and seems to be great for a nicer dinner out.

My wife, stepson, and I, had a great Italian dinner here! This is a BYOB so we brought a nice bottle of red and started off the dinner with the Eggplant Rollatini appetizer. The eggplant was cooked just right with a nice red sauce. Our entrees ranged from my Spaghetti with shrimp and Broccoli Rabe, to Rigatoni Bolognese, to Veal Milanese. Everything was excellent and we even ordered dessert...the homemade Tiramisu was outstanding! This is a family owned restaurant with the owner being a chef from Sicily. His wife greeted customers and gave us background on the restaurant. People have referred to this restaurant on Yelp as being cozy, and they're spot on. Overall, a fun dinner with great Italian food at a nice location!

I also got a side of meatballs for $10, which came with 3 large meatballs in tomato sauce. Again, I would describe the quality as decent. The best part of this restaurant is the nice cozy atmosphere. It sort of feels like you're having home-cooked Italian food in Italy (and not an NJ suburb). The staff are very friendly and attentive and the service speed is fast. There is also a convenient parking lot next to the restaurant. Overall, while the food itself is fairly standard, I enjoyed the casual family vibes of this place, so it gets 4 stars from me.

The Brooklyn pie amazes all that try it. All their wood fired pies are fantastic with perfect dough, tangy sauce, and high quality fresh mozzarella and other toppings. The Brooklyn reigns supreme because it features fresh mozzarella laid down first, a plum tomato sauce that is perfectly complimentary with that smooth San Marzano taste, an even but not overpowering layer of coarsely chopped garlic and olive oil. The crust is thin but not too thin. It's stout and crispy all the way to the edge with these huge triangular slices that make it a unique eating experience. The sauce to cheese ratio is spot on every time. Making a reverse pie like this is art. It's not easy to get it right. Everyone I turn on to it rave about it to all of their friends and so on. Besides the food, the family feel, excellent service and reasonable prices for such high quality pies top it all off. It's packed during peak times but the wait is never long and it's a great pick-up, delivery spot. NOTE, you have to order delivery on their website. It's a little clunky but it works every time. Asked in the beginning to split the bill, but waiter forgot ( I think out original waiter off shift) and we had to request it again. The slower service towards the end of the meal may be attributed to it being the middle of the afternoon, between shifts, and a slower period. My dining partner loves this place and had great things to say about the owner, and the support he provided front line workers during the pandemic. Ambiance is casual, with an extensive bar and seating. More parking in the back down the hill, in back of the restaurant.

So they gave me oil and vinegar and it was spiced with the right herbs , I don't think you need to ask what dressing goes on a Greek salad , seemed obvious to me. I was in the mood for Italian food, so we decided to give this place a shot. I called ahead to check availability, and I'm glad I did! We didn't have a reservation, but thankfully the manager let us know that they'd have a table ready for us around 7:20pm (it was roughly 7pm when I called). My husband and I were just down the street, so we decided to go ahead and make our way there. Once we got seated, we were quickly greeted by our server, Mike. He was very attentive and friendly! We later learned that it was his second day on the job, which we found shocking as he did such a great job! As for the food... I'll be honest, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana (my favorite Italian dish) and my husband ordered the Risotto Primavera. The Eggplant Parmigiana was not crispy at all, which was super disappointing! It had a great flavor, but I prefer a crispy texture so this didn't really hit the spot for me. It came with linguini noodles with tomato sauce, which was very bland. Whatever sauce they used did not have a great taste to it. As for the Risotto Primavera...it had a RICH flavor to it. My husband said "it's good, but not good enough to order again". I, on the other hand, didn't like it as I thought it was just too rich in taste. The food wasn't the best, but I'm giving them 4 stars because the overall service was fantastic! Everyone was so attentive, helpful and friendly, from the host to our server to the manager. It's rare these days to find a team where everyone is pitching in and happily doing so!
