Also, the estimator (whom I believe was the owner's son) was very kind and available to answer all our questions, without any condescension or indifference. After the install, which took about 1-1/2 days, there were a few items I had mentioned that were overlooked, and when I contacted the owner, instead of being met with indignation (as I expected), I was met with compassion and understanding. The items were remedied within a few days. Everything looks great! No more leaking roof. -------------------------------------- On a side note, my neighbor (weeks later) said she saw many nails in her driveway, and when she said something to the workers, they were really rude. She said the next day there were food rappers and more nails in her yard/driveway, and said she ended up with a roof nail in her tire with a flat. I emphatically apologized to her but there wasn't much more I could do. I also later found 2 cigarettes (one smoked and the other whole) in my attic, and have found nails here and there for weeks now. For these last few reasons, I could not offer a 5-star rating, and almost put 3 stars, but 3 would not be indicative of the overall quality, which is more important to me from a roofer than attitude--though if everyone had an attitude similar to the owner's son, 5 stars would be an easy rank. Overall, the experience was good, but not great, though I would recommend them over others. I would only advise that every detail be written down, and that the owners have a little more oversight on their daily crews, just for quality (and attitude) control.

The guy who came out to quote…read morethe service was very professional, however the company itself was extremely unprofessional. Four weeks after the quote and we still had no communication with this company unless we called ourselves, and even then we got the voicemail 9 times out of 10. When someone did answer, they gave us a new excuse every time. Apparently our job wasn't worth the money, and instead of canceling on us or keeping their word they just ghosted us. Our roof could've been fixed much sooner with the company we actually went with in the end and it would've prevented further damage. Shame on these guys.

If I could go back in time and undo signing a contract with them I would. The salesman in their office was pushy with less than scrupulous methods asking for money upfront to procure materials. I was told that the crew would be licensed and/or journeymen. They were not. I am still paying to fix the number of issues caused by the contractors: electrical, plumbing, HVAC. The wiring of the lights re-routing my outdoor lamppost so it is permanently on. The fan motor in my bathroom died, which is wired to the same circuit as my kitchen. This is a result of one of the guys during the demo hacking at wire in the wall although the power was not off. I know my house wiring was weird before but all of things happened during and after the job was complete. Plumbing The undermount sink is delaminating from quartz countertop... I am finding this today. years. The guys poorly wired things in such a way that the motor on my furnace in the middle. I have since had to replace the entire furnace... It was a nightmare. I do not recommend this company to anyone. As previously stated in a different review one star is more than they deserve.

    WHEN are your people going to finish the work they started…read morein our kitchen? We've been without a kitchen, and a garage, since the last week in October. It is December 10th. We've had workers here sporadically about twice a week in this entire time frame. Someone was expected today, and I'd like to say it was a surprise but of course no one showed up. Much like October 31st our start date, when no one showed up all day, we phoned the workers who said they were called back to their previous job (no surprise) and Steve later said " oh yeah, I was on vacation, but someone should've told you that no one would be there ". I wonder who that someone is STEVE?! Thursday December 5th was the last time anyone showed up to do anything, And that was late in the afternoon because apparently they had already started a new project that took precedence over finishing ours. Everyone has been texted the list of what needs to be finished. The grouting on the backsplash is not finished, the outlet near the refrigerator has broken wires that need repairing so our disposal will work, there is still glass in the driveway from when they broke our stove, the wall with the brackets and quartz countertop still needs drywalling work, there are huge gaps where you can see past the drywall, the dishwasher still doesn't close properly since it was thrown (or as they say "placed" in the dumpster and "rolled 90 degrees) wainscoting was THROWN AWAY instead of set aside, and no floor molding was installed at the bottom of the wall missing the wainscoting, just a huge gap. The heating register doesn't fit into the floor, it's resting on an angle on top of a floor transition. WE STILL HAVE NO PARKING SPACE IN OUR GARAGE. After spending an additional $639 to accommodate some line needed for the garbage disposal, OUR GARBAGE DISPOSAL STILL DOESN'T WORK. My husband has been putting off a work trip, but he absolutely has to leave tomorrow, I am extremely ill with a lung disease, flu and pneumonia, and have zero time or patience left to wait for these items in our unfinished kitchen to be finished. I find it incredibly hard to believe you are still in business, considering the horrendous level of service and lack of communication between members of your "team", let alone the complete radio silence we are given when we call, text, or email anyone from Ace Kitchen and Bath about a problem.
