DO NOT GO HERE FOR MICROBLADING - Unless you want to be semi-permanently disfigured by Azita. This…read morewoman is a contractor and only shows up on Tuesdays. As a contractor, she has no responsibility towards you as a client. You do NOT get a consultation from her because she does not speak or understand English well, or she pretends not to understand you. It took me over 2 years to get up enough courage to get my eyebrows done. I was shown pictures of Azita's work, but now I have to wonder if those pictures were pirated from other sites which perform microblading. I told her specifically what I wanted for my eyebrows, she snapped back that it was what she would be doing. She proceeded to draw an outline of the shape for my eyebrows. My husband told her that they were uneven. So much for her being a make-up artist. She visibly showed her irritation and proceeded to rub at the outline to fix the shape. Eventually, the outline looked okay and she proceeded to cut my brows. Please understand that someone is cutting into your skin with a blade and it hurts. Your brow areas are red and swollen, so it is difficult right after the procedure to determine how well the job was. As a fair and reasonable person, I waited till the recovery period was over before returning to the spa with my complaint. Please see the picture of my eyebrows. It is clear that Azita did not keep within the outline that she had drawn. My right brow is lower than the left, the left brow has an peaked arch while the right brow has an almost flat curve, both brows are thick and patchy. I get strange stares, and friends and family have asked me what happened. I went to other salons to see if they could fix my eyebrows, and all of them told me that I have to wait till they fade before they will touch them. Dory tried to force me to do a second session with Azita to fix her botched work. But seriously ! Would you want someone who has given you uneven, lopsided caterpillars to have another go at messing up your face ! My husband went with me in the morning to ask for a refund. We got some yarn from Atty about how their debit machine cannot process refunds. She said we would have to return at 5 PM when her daughter Dory will be there to process our refund. I specifically asked her to confirm that she will be refunding the full $1,072.09 that was charged to my credit card. Atty responded 'Yes', but she needs Dory to process the refund. We returned promptly at 5 PM to be told by Dory that she will not give us a refund for the microblading because she had to pay Azita, and Azita will not agree to the refund. So, you decide. Do you want to take a chance with this spa and Azita? It will cost you your looks and your money ! UPDATE to address Dory's Response: Dory, you clearly have no shame or dignity. But that was so obvious last night when you ranted at, threatened, and bullied me for one-hour-and-a-half. Yes, it took one-hour-and-a-half of having to be subjected to your nasty behaviour before you finally refunded a portion of my money for facials that I have not taken. Asking if we had been lied to when you overturned your mother's agreement to give us a full refund is not profanity. We were shocked at your abuse when we returned at 5 PM to get our promised full refund. Even now you try to force me to accept that the terrible work done by Azita is acceptable. Please see the picture of my eyebrows. And NO, I did NOT express that I liked my eyebrows after my procedure. I was in pain and tired; I just wanted to go home to recover. But you and Atty loudly proclaimed how great they were. I was red and swollen at the time, so what were you raving about ! This speaks volume as to the level of standards you find acceptable. Why would I accept any other service from you !! Your salon is empty of clients at most of the times I was there. You are not able to process a refund without calling the credit card company. What other business has that problem !! That probably means that you have a poor rating with the credit card company. Please do continue to argue with me. Let the readers see your lack of professionalism.

I went here for brazillian and full legs wax. It was my first time to do brazillian and full legs…read morewax at the salon. I had Rosette and she was nice to me. She tried her best to make me feel relax by telling me that it'll be quick but oh boy, it was painful! I couldn't relax because it was my first time (I was anxious) and it was painful right after she yanked the upper portion of my bush. It was mostly painful because I have so many hairs down there. She didn't trim it & I didn't trim it before meeting her. She didn't ask me to check if she did well or not after my brazillian & full legs. She just told me to pay after I'm done changing. There are still some hairs left. She did wore 1 blue glove (right hand) during the brazillian wax but she didn't wash her hands before the procedure. I paid $85.00 incuding the $10.00 tip. I thanked her for the wax deal. She's a nice lady with 25 years of experience but for me her brazillian techniques are painful and the wax is too hot for my skin threshold. I endured everything, I hope my future brazillian wax will be better than this. I've been told that the first brazillian experience is worst but it'll get better after the 3rd try.

However with the great reviews I was reading on this place I wanted to check it out. Can I just say you definitely need to be patient when going to this location. The parking lot is crazy small.. I was lucky enough to wait a few minutes and get a spot! I walked in (with a thought of being turned down because they were busy *side note yes I had a back up plan) and asked for a refill. The manager just kinda looked at me and then looked through his books and I was fortunate enough, he said I could have a seat (reluctantly). The establishment is small , to me everything just seems really cramped in one. There were a lot of client service staff to accommodate every seat in that place which was really good. I had a woman (she was blonde) and didn't introduce herself. However the work she did with my nails was beautiful. she was extremely precise which I thoroughly enjoy. I chose the colour that she was wearing because I couldn't spot it out in the selection. Bio-Gel Refill - $40 cash ($45 if you use card) Mr. Manager asked me if it was my first time and i replied yes, he then informed me to next time make an appointment because they are an appointment only nail salon. Which is fine if I lived near here and this was my nail salon. However I have a nail salon but I just did not want to head up then back down for what I needed to do. I do promise, if I ever break a nail I will call first. haha.

I was here last week for upper lip threading and the experience wasn't the greatest and the place…read morefelt a little dirty. Location: Not very convenient and I don't think they have parking other than by the road. I took the subway to Lawrence station and walked about 10-15 mins to get to the place. My other option was to take a bus but I didn't want to wait. Wait time: You can book an appointment on their website and they'll send you a SMS confirming the appointment. When I went, there was no line up. I had an appointment and I waited 2 minutes (because the lady had to finish threading a client). Service: 2.5/5 There was as little service as humanly possible. When I walked in, the receptionist was on the phone and she told me to fill out a clipboard with my info. She didn't exactly tell me, she gave me a clipboard. After this, I was told to change from my shoes to their slippers. Note: these slippers didn't look clean. It looked like it hasn't been cleaned for days. It felt kind of nasty wearing their slippers. While being threaded, the lady went through the whole area but it felt rushed. After the redness went away and I waited two days, I noticed hair that wasn't threaded off. I wish they were more thorough. On the plus side, the receptionist and threading lady weren't deliberately rude but felt very distant. You know how some people make you feel warm and welcomed. Well I didn't feel welcomed there. Threading job: 2.5/5 It felt like she took a lot of hair off my upper lip but she missed some. The amount of hair she missed were not an area but here and there. So I felt like the threading job a bit sloppy. Cleanliness: 1/5 When I walked into the place, I smelled BO (but I do have a good sense of smell). When the lady started threading me, she didn't sanitize her hands. Also, before she started threading me, another lady handed her money. So imagine for a second-the germs in money, threading lady touches money, she doesn't clean her hands after and she starts threading you. Just think how unsanitary that is. The reason I didn't give cleanliness 0/5 is because the place looked clean (i.e. no clutter). That's why I give them 1/5. Prices: Very reasonable. Please see pic for prices. Note: tax is additional Recommend: I wouldn't come back but it's up to you.

The lady who did my face was very kind and considerate. Since I have sensitive skin, she gave me a peel with 20% and she would ask me very often how I'm feeling and whether the peel was . The "peel" doesn't hurt. It's more like a thin cream applied on your face that tingles like if you put lemon juice on your face. It didn't (and shouldn't) burn. And since mine was 20%, it wouldn't leave my face peeling, but would make it smooth instead. Whole process only took about 10-15mins. Would come back here again!

I would recommend making an appointment to ensure you don't have to wait and that your service isn't rushed. My only complaint would be that its a bit hard to get through the phone line sometimes. I booked appointments with Hanna both times. She is friendly and pays a lot of attention to detail. I was very happy with my service. I believe the price for a set of tips with biogel starts at $60 and is increased at $5 increments depending on the length. My long set was $70. (UV gel pricing is about $10 less.) For a biogel fill, I had my nails filled but filed quite short. I paid $45. Keep in mind, some of the chairs are close to the mall side and you will definitely have people walking by and hear sounds from inside the mall / food court area.
