Let me first start by saying that I had the most amazing experience at HSL. I sent an inquiry via…read morethe Contact Us page on their website and received an email back almost instantly. From there, Pauline was incredibly informative and booked me an appointment on the day I requested for a consult and lash appointment. When I arrived, I filled out a short form and then was taken to the back where there were 6 (maybe 8, my memory fails me) comfy chairs set up with a warm blanket on each one. The chairs are "lazy boy" style and recline back to offer a full, comfortable experience. If you have back problems, the chairs are great because your whole body feels incredibly supported. These chairs are 100x more comfy than sitting in a flatbed. I also felt my neck was really well supported -- super important since lash appointments usually take 1-3 hours from start to completion (depending on the type). Once I was settled in, Pauline asked me what I was looking to do (refill, new set, etc) as well as what length and curl I wanted. From there, she washed my lashes with soap and a eyeshadow brush! She let me know what she was doing every step of the way. My 2 hours appointment flew by and I'm pretty sure I even took a small nap. Overall, the place is clean, there's plenty of parking and is easy to find. Most importantly, Pauline takes great care in what she does and you can rest assured that your lashes are well taken care of here As a bonus, they have a 3 day warranty where you can get a free touch up if your lashes fall out prematurely. They even include a length do's and don't page for you to care for your lashes and a spooly to brush out your lashes.

It's just so cute and gives a vibe for you to stay and make yourself at home rather than "get what you need and get tf out" They also have a salon attached to it - looks amazing and aesthetic. They offer a lot of different hair services. The most amazing part is the eyelash boutique they have in the back with nice comfy beds, a blanket and it's just so comfy, I definitely fell asleep during my service. Tiana is an eyelash god. She has the most delicate hands and I seriously felt nothing when she was doing it. I've had lash technicians poke at my eyes and I've got to say this was the most comfortable experience I've had. I got the mega diamond lashes done and damn mama, they are THICCC. What seriously surprised me is how light and fluffy they are - I expected heavy lashes which I can barely see out of (which is what my heavy mink lashes feel like) but nope! Even when you touch them, they feel like real thick lashes. My mom can't stop touching it and I've had mad compliments in the one day I've had them on. Tiana told me they're high quality lashes from Japan and you can definitely see and feel the difference. I'm not just hyping this place up, you need to try and you'll definitely feel the difference for yourself. I am absolutely in love with the results! My short straight Asian lashes were transformed into the wispy fluttering lashes that I've always wanted! They looked completely natural as well and I received many compliments by friends and family on how great my lashes looked! First off, the atmosphere inside Moss was clean and fresh, and their lash stations were located in a very pretty area at the back of the store that was nice and cozy. My lash tech did a great job in making sure I was comfortable the entire time, and explained what she was doing so I was never in the dark about what was happening (even with my eyes closed haha). I got the Love Classic set and the whole process took just a little over an hour and a half. At one point I was so relaxed I ended up falling asleep! I will definitely be coming back to get fills when I can, and would gladly recommend this place to anyone wanting to amp up their lash game!

While there, I scheduled an appointment for a facial, and explained that I would be back in Toronto and spoke to the facialist at length about what we would do on that appointment. I left my CC to secure the appt. I received a text confirmation AND email confirmation as well as a form to fill out prior to the appointment as well as a note that cancellations less than 24 hours prior to appt would result in being charged for the cost of the appt. I have no issue with this. Today on March 3, less than one hour before my confirmed appointment I got a call from Gee Beauty explaining they needed to cancel the appointment, with no reason, couldn't offer a new rescheduled appointment, didn't offer an alternative time, or day and when I questioned why and how they can do this but charge their customers when they cancel- the person hung up on me. I called back twice and my calls went straight to voicemail. I left a voicemail- no reply, I then called later the same day and Sarah picked up, I explained the situation and asked about the poor service and she hung up on me. So AVOID GEE BEAUTY - a once amazing, customer centric family run business is now being run by a bunch of ignorant, deplorable, rude and entitled kids that hang up on clients. Take your $300 and spend it anywhere else for a facial. NO one deserves to be treated like that.

I've gotten my brows semi-permanent tattoo about 4 times from 3 different brow artists. Antonia's been the most professional and best so far. She has an excellent shape and my brows look so natural, gorgeous and better than ever. Antonia made sure to give me a ton of information on proper pre-care and post-care instructions which is one reason why my brows look AMAZING. I followed it religiously.

Next day after I'm looking in the mirror and notice that I have two wounds on...my eye lids. On my frigging EYELIDS. This place butchered my face. I don't know how they stay open, there is barely ever anyone inside and this is the junction, rent isn't cheap...
