I diligently read reviews, called them to ask questions, and finally decided to make an appointment - for my helix and daith. Now that's a solid change :P When I got to my appointment, the person on the counter was super nice. I filled out the waiver, she answers some questions I had, and I picked my jewelry, They have a good range that is included in the price; I assume they are surgical steel, and/or gold plated. After 2 weeks, they are not tarnished or reacting with my piercings. Mike did my piercing, and he was awesome! We chatted as he was preparing things. He shared some stories, and I felt at ease. The piercing process was quick and although not painless, it was a LOT better than I expected. I'd say like a 4.5/10 for 5 seconds and done! It's been 2 weeks, and I've been following the after care instructions, and it's been okay. Definitely a lot better then my other lobe piercings that I got with piercing gun. 100% recommended!

To their credit at least they offered to help remove it and did eight sessions but they didn't even finish that with me I would seriously suggest staying away from this place at all costs.

Our one red flag and warning to anyone coming here is to ask to see your invoice or an itemized receipt before paying for your service and items. And unfortunately I tried sharing this over on Google and they have flagged my review so it's not visible to others In more detail, immediately after the piercing was done, we were led to the next process - payment. When we went through payment, it was not disclosed to us in a clear and transparent way that the aftercare and cleaning q-tips were not included ($20 for a box of cleaning q-tips + $15 for Dexidin Spray). The items were ALREADY tossed onto the bill BEFORE we even went through the aftercare process and there was nothing stated or transparently mentioned like, "We have a few things for you guys to consider, we have some aftercare products that we recommend you use to ensure your piercing do not get infected - would you be interested in purchases these today?" Had we had known we were going to be charged, we would have opted out of the products as my friend had a bunch at home and it came off as if these were included. Again, because we didn't get a receipt until it was emailed we had already opened up the aftercare products the second we got home to treat our piercings. My friend and I had spent over $400 each, purchasing real gold earrings and when I reached out about the aftercare products and had even offered to returned the remainder of what we had as we had only used one q-tip and one spritz, they didn't offer us a refund but a store credit since we had opened the products. Based on the principle alone - I don't plan on going back due to the lack of transparency. I hope this review just helps people moving forward to have a better experience than I did as it put a really sour taste in my mouth considering everything else was quite positive. My recommendation to the studio is to please disclose to your clients the products BEFORE adding it to their invoice and not to brush over it during payment as it's easy for the client to mistaken that these items were used during the process of the piercing service rather than knowing it's a product they are purchasing for aftercare. Or another suggestion is going through the aftercare process right after the piercing BEFORE payment as this would be the most optimal time to mention the products and suggesting to your clients if they'd like to purchase some.

I had my tragus and forward helix done, and I do want to note that she had to do my forward helix twice because she felt it'd look more aesthetically pleasing to have it done in another location. Also, have you budget in mind as the jewelry plus service fee plus after care products add up and get quite expensive. With that being said, I'll be back to get my flat and another helix pierced later...their jewelry selection is quite nice.

The day of the session we waited a bit as Bahador was with another client & finishing up. We showed him the images again & decided on the size & placement of the tattoo on each of us. Hubby went first & I waited on the couch nearby. It took about 1.5 hours for his session. Then I was next. Hubby had his tattoo placed on his forearm & I had mine placed on my left shoulder. Bahador was professional & nice. I kind of wondered if he was bored because our design was really simple. But we picked him because we really liked his other work that we saw on instagram. I think if I get another tattoo that is more elaborate I would like him to do it. He's very talented. The receptionist Talin (spelling) was really nice also. Her personality is friendly & bubbly. She offered us a drink while we waited. I opted for a simple bottle of water. There is a single washroom on the main floor for customers. There is also a lower level where some other artists work but we didn't go there so I'm not sure what it looks like. The main floor though is very brightly lit. The floors are white tiles. And the walls are white also. The tattoo chairs are black with silver hardware. Everything is very clean. Anyway, we were very satisfied with our matching tattoos. We also think the price was reasonable. I would come back here if I ever get another tattoo. Hubby has been here before & so has my SIL.

The shop itself is pretty small so there wasn't much privacy. The piercing was done right next to a girl getting a tattoo and shoppers were able to walk by and watch my sister get pierced. You can't really complain because the shops at Pacific Mall are made of glass walls. The procedure itself was pretty standard. She chose her jewellery, got marked and then got pierced. Everything was very clean and sterile, so no complaints! We were then instructed on how to clean the piercing. The whole process took less than 15 minutes and was $60.

Also writing this review like a month after it happened so it's not just an angry review based on emotions plus I also have 6 other ear piercing done at different places and never had an infection before. So I went to get my piercing done on Nov 24 (Sunday) and it was my first time at Warrior Inks. I went to get my second helix and conch pierced and I was done by the lady. Everything went fine at first. (So I followed the aftercare instruction from the APP website instead of the aftercare given since it said to clean with alcohol but on the APP website it says to not use any alcohol, and I continued this during from the time of piercing and continuing now still.) The first 2 days after were completely fine. No redness, swelling, pain, heat or pus coming from either piercing sites. But the 3rd day after my conch swelled up and was a little warm and slightly red but it didn't really hurt nor was there pus coming from it, so I though it was just delayed swelling from the piercing and didn't think much about it. On the 4th day after, my conch piercing continued to swell up, was even more red, slightly more pain and still only slightly warm, no pus, bit of blood, but the swelling was almost the size of the whole post (the picture attached doesn't show much room left but after cleaning off the blood there was still little bit of room left). On the 5th day after (Friday), my ear was really not looking good. Swelling increased to the whole post, much more red, painful and heat but no blood and still no pus. So I went back to the Warrior Ink thinking they might need to change the post and possibly there's a concern for infection but when I went, during their opening hours and waited like 20-30 mins, the store was closed. So I went to another piercing shop to have it looked at and the piercer said that the post was WAY TO SHORT and that it SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN USED FOR THIS CONCH PIERCING and it HAD to come out and he would not be able to put another post in because my ear was so swollen/angry. He eventually had to SNAP IT OFF because he couldn't remove it by unscrewing it and it hurt like HELL, and I have a pretty decently high pain tolerance. I asked the piercer if I should go to the doctor to get it check out because I was worried it could be infected but he said it should have been find since the post was out the pressure should be relieved and it should be fine. Though after cleaning it that night I noticed pus starting to leak out of the site where the conch piercing was removed So the next day (Saturday) I went to the doctor the first thing in the morning and he said it was DEFINITELY infected and gave me antibiotic and antibiotic ointment. (The picture attached is how angry my ear looked even after like a dose or two of antibiotics). On Sunday morning my ear started to look slightly better. Swelling reduced a bit, slightly less red and less pain, about the same amount of heat, no blood but still leaking pus. Though at about evening time I noticed that my ear had swelled up a lot more and it started to really CURL to the point where the top of the ear almost met the lobe! Had to go the the ER to get it check out (which just so happened to be the day it had freezing rain so it was a long drive there). The ER doctor ended up putting me on 2 different antibiotics and 2 painkillers. After a few days of being on antibiotics and painkillers my ear finally started looking almost like how my ear normally looks but the swelling, redness, and heat continued for almost the whole 10 day course of antibiotics. Pus stopped leaking after like 3-4 days on antibiotics. Very lucky that there was no abscess that would require draining. Overall HIGH DO NOT RECOMMEND (at least from a piercing stand-point). Hopefully someone finds this review helpful and would reconsider before coming to this store.

Kyle spoke matter-of-factly without making me feel silly for asking simple questions as a grown adult. i also really appreciate speaking to someone instead of just panicking while reading the FAQ page over and over!! fast forward to a month later, i made an appointment to get my lobes pierced! taylor was my piercer and they were absolutely wonderful to be in the care of. i told them exactly how nervous i was and they didn't sugarcoat that i'd definitely feel it -- it would hurt like a pinch hurts and i'd feel some heat, this is natural -- and they jokingly reassured me that if i hated the first piercing, i could stop at one (lol). it's been 8 weeks with my studs in and they've healed amazingly. taylor not only did an amazing job with the piercing, but they gave me really concise care tips and a business card with their info in case i needed to reach out about my piercings. i don't think i can sing high enough praises of the folks at new tribe! TL;DR: - spoke with kyle at the front of house and was pierced by taylor. both were absolute gems of human beings - overall very pleasant and calm experience as a nervous person - very knowledgeable and non-judgmental - thorough website w/ FAQs - would definitely come back if i ever wanted more piercings!! - studs are flat back - variety of studs to pick from for the piercing (some with price upgrades)

I have complete trust that Kadie ensures the safety of everyone in the shop by being absolutely meticulous about cleanliness. I have some health anxieties and I am put so at ease by Kadie because she has extremely high standards for cleanliness and safety at Elevated. She lets me watch her sterilise all the stuff she uses on my body, which makes me feel as comfortable as possible about getting work done, and she safely discards everything once it's touched a person to further reduce any risks. I came to Kadie initially because of fussy piercings done elsewhere and she went above and beyond to help me with them. When I got my second lobe piercings done by her, it was an awesome experience. She answered all my questions and set me at ease. She was available afterward for follow ups and any questions I had. My piercings are healing much better than other times I've been pierced at other places and I know it's because Kadie is a very experienced, knowledgable and talented piercer.
