Only why I deducted a star is because they do not put powder on your brows before you begin in order to remove excess oil on the skin. I introduced myself, and without any hello I was curtly told to be seated, they would help me when they were free. It turned out that one of the ladies was a client, and they were having a catch-up chat. Shortly after I sat down, the older lady started speaking with me, then rolled her eyes and insisted I come back to the glass wall, a few feet from where I was seated. She was very curt, no greeting of any sort, just wanted to know why I was there. She seemed completely confused, and actually said she had no idea what I was booked for, which made me feel a bit suspicious. She interrupted me mid-sentence to tell me I was making a mess and I had to take off my boots, still rolling her eyes and huffing. I told her I was concerned that they did not seem to have my booking, and that I wasn't feeling very welcome so far. This really made her upset, and she insisted in a very shrill voice that she was being professional. The whole situation was ridiculous. I couldn't imagine what she would be like once the treatment began, given this horrid pre-bedside manner, so I left without going any further. I learned from calling the other office that this lady is the manager, and I got the distinct impression that complaints about her are nothing new.

However, something to note is that their prices are slightly more expensive than the average Korean product (like by a dollar or so, when compared to online retailers, but not a big deal at all). Something to note- currently, they have a "no refunds" policy. Only exchanges are permitted for "unopened beauty and electronics within 14 days after purchase with original receipt." The store is located across from the Sephora store in Bayshore Mall, which is perfect so you can grab all your beauty and skincare needs all at once! Prices here are lowest in town and Paula says it's because her equipment is old enough that she can pass on savings to customers. The key is in the state of the equipment and Paula promises she maintains her machines well. My session was pleasant, quick (maybe an hour with consult), and no pain involved. My body started to metabolize the busted up fat immediately, i.e it was noticeable for the first 4 days that my body was eliminating it. Step one of cool sculpting freezes and draws the fat up to the surface. By taking a picture after step one, you can how much fat is being targeted and set your expectations. Step 2 breaks up the fat cells by a different wand and this feels like a pleasant massage. The skin looks different after step 2 compared to after step 1. The removal of the fat cells is permanent.

Looked like I just had a polish change, which was also very sloppy in execution. My job requires that I travel, so I have a regular mani-pedi. Over the last year I have had several done at LIV Nail Bliss, unfortunately the quality of service keeps getting lower with every visit. After today's experience I have made the choice to seek services elsewhere. The manicurist seemed disengaged from her work, and the whole service was very carelessly done. I had an appointment scheduled for 7:00pm, however she was still busy with another client. 10min later another manicurist got the water running and asked me to soak while waiting...my actual pedicure only started around 7:35pm. The foot filing was done without much effort (I brush my teeth with more vigor!) resulting in no improvement of my dry/damaged heels. The scrub and clay mask was hastily applied and removed almost as quickly. The paraffin treatment was not evenly distributed, resulting in only half my foot getting coated, and the remaining paraffin pooling in the bottom of the plastic bag. Apparently there was also supposed to be a relaxing foot/leg massage...however it felt more like just an application of moisturizer. When it came to applying the colour, the sloppiness can be seen in the attached photo. Thoroughly disappointing experience...and despite trying to address the matter during the process, it appears to have fallen on deaf ears (hence prompting this review be written). LIV Nail Bliss 'appears' to be a trendy nail bar, but unfortunately the level of service does not live up to expectations (especially at this price point). Highly recommend seeking another service provider for your mani-pedi. Unfortunately tomorrow I will have to go have a proper pedicure done elsewhere...

Upon arriving the male owner or manager was in a heated argument with three Middle Eastern customers at the cash. Mall security was present but not doing much other than watching. My understanding was that half a pedicure was done, the customer was not happy with how it was going and stopped the service. The argument was over how much she would then pay. The four of them continued arguing for over twenty minutes (we were fifteen minutes early and they took us five minutes late while they continued to argue). My mother's pedicure turned out fine. I was very disappointed. Their swatches of shellac to choose from did not match those they had on the actual bottles, so they looked for about ten minutes to try to find my light beige shellac and in the end couldn't find it. I opted for a comparable polish colour and it has chipped within hours. I'm a trainer for a very large cosmetics company and teach both artistry and customer service. Whether these women were in the wrong or not doesn't matter. Witnessing such a high stress situation for my mother and I was enough to ruin our experience. For the small amount they were arguing over, letting the women leave happy would have paid for itself with my mother's return business which they will not see. Overall the decor is very nice, although messy and disorganized. I would not recommend this salon.
