I am extremely upset because I leave on vacation in two days and she left the city. she cannot rectify the braids and also refused to provide any refund. furthermore, she was extremely rude and defensive when I brought up the concern and provided the WORST most UNPROFESSIONAL response possible. I will NEVER be going back and I would never recommend her to anyone else. While the hair situation sucked, honestly it was the lack of empathy and horrible customer service for me. The pedi area has massage chairs and the rubs are lined with plastic. The employees are very friendly and have lots of personality. You get a complimentary water, soda Orr glass of wine (Awesomeness!) They offer a huge variety of colors and different types of natural pedicures. They will show you a book of the options and what they include. My French pedicure came out really nice expect one of my big toes was cut really crooked so the French looks like it's in a ski slope lol. A week later, the polish is chipping The gel manicure is what hurt my feelings. When it came or shaping my nails, it barely took place. I had to keep asking for my tech to go back and fix things and he didn't understand (or see ) what I was referring to. The paint job was literally globby. The polish was puddled and thick in some areas and thin in others. He acknowledged that at least but the polish had hardened. There was no offer to fix. It's been a week and some of the polish has stated to come up and I just don't feel like arguing my way through fixing it. If I decide otherwise I'll make sure to update the review. So I decided go to the salon to just have it removed altogether ( I got tired of looking at the blobs). When I explained what was happening he offered to redo them- to come back in an hour. I came back- and he began to press me about coming to the salon- asked me about my stamp card ( they offer a card to mark every time you come and you get some kind of gift after 10 visits). Whatever the tech write was illegible ( which he made me feel like was my fault). Then he further pressed me about showing when I'd been in the shop. My phone was dead so I could not show my Yelp check in and I was also very irritated and offended by then. I told him I don't care about getting my nails done agai - it was never my intention to have them done again I just want these removed. He agreed to do so- 5 or 10 mins later he came over and said he's so them again. Part of me wanted to say no and the other part was telling me not to let my pride do me in. They randomly cut my nails and didn't even file them to shape it right it was rushed and looked terrible. It was a very messy job the gel polish was on my cuticles and skin. He also keeps my Mom and sister looking their best. I feel like family when I walk through those doors. Zuheir and Maiada are both amazing. I have went in for colour, cuts and styling and have never walked away unhappy in the 20+ years that I have been a customer. There is always lively music playing, wonderful conversation and always laughter. HIs clientele seem to trust him and enjoy him as much as I do. He will always talk through a style or colour change with the client and help you make decisions based on his knowledge and experience. This man knows hair. I asked when the colorist was coming back and he said who do you think taught her so of course I felt intimidated and I said okay. He promised we would have 3 hours to ourselves so he can just concentrate on me. He never set a timer and went overboard on the peroxide in the foils so it leaked down onto my scalp and burnt me. My hair was coming out in chunks. I felt so bad I was crying. I should have went in there the next day and showed him what he did, but it felt so bad that I contacted my friend who is a hairdresser and he almost died. When he saw the condition of my scalp and hair I had to use aloe vera by The bucket loads to get any relief of the burning of my scalp so as it goes I do not go back to him and I would not suggest anybody else to. If you need a good reference for a good hairdresser just let me know!!
