I have to agree with the ownership and sales being courteous, respectful and professional. I went looking for a specific vehicle or two, and truth be told the pictures on the internet, while of those cars, really did not indicate the damage that was on those cars. The pics looked good. The cars, in person, not so much. Of the three cars I looked at, the first smelled so badly of cigarette smoke my bride & I could not stay in it for much more than about 20 seconds before we decided we couldn't take it anymore. In addition, the scrapes in the paint, while seemingly minor, and chewed up rims indicated a car that had been abused by the previous owner. The second vehicle was stored elsewhere and a runner had to go and get it - that took awhile. When we got in to test drive it, there was trash in it on the passenger side (empty soda bottles). The ragtop would not retract and the top of the dash was in pretty sad shape. Driving it, more than appearance, I now knew why it was not moving, at least not moving to my own driveway - the clutch needed to be tightened up - it was clunking every time I pushed the clutch in on the car. The third car was just to see what it was like. I wasn't really that interested in it. The rear bumper looked like it had been detached from the body at some point where the trim came around to the wheel well, and wasn't reattached very well, and the paint job looked like a cheap maaco quick job. All of the cars we looked at could have used a good detailing before we ever looked at them, just to make them more presentable and/or desireable. None of them were clean, and the smoke smell from the first car stayed with me so long I was assuming each of the cars was smelling like smoke until my bride corrected me. No pressure to buy here, the sales staff is not on commission. Either you like what you see or you don't and make your decisions from there. Since I didn't like wahat I saw, I didn't buy, doesn't mean I won't be back to look and potentially to buy. Again, staff is indeed courteous and personable. read more

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE GOING HERE - SCAMMERS I went here to buy my first car and was so excited to find what I wanted, Luis was very nice and I felt confident in my purchase of $12,000 1 WEEK LATER the car is making horrible noises and leaking all kinds of fluid. I took it to a mechanic who saw that the transmission hoses are split, the transmission had no fluid and was most likely being damaged and this had been going on for a long time. Additionally, he found stop leak in my radiator, which was used to cover up that there is a blown head gasket. There is coolant in my oil, oil in my coolant and the car cannot be driven. I NEED A NEW ENGINE AND TRANMISSION 1 WEEK AFTER PURCHASE. This dealership is refusing to give a refund after selling me a useless car, which they purposely deceived me and covered up very serious problems on. They have no integrity as men or as a business and are now claiming the mechanic just wants to make money, though he took an hour out of his day to show me every single thing he found wrong and explain it to me in detail FOR FREE. I am now without a working vehicle and my only option is to hope the warranty (they sold me) covers a decent amount of rebuilding an entire car. The owner really gave our daughter one on one attention through her first car buying experience. Drove with us when we narrowed the search, guided us away from a car he did not feel confident in and topped it off with a great deal for the vehicle she chose, a Toyota Yaris. I cannot begin to explain the shady way business is conducted here. *First, please note that this used dealership is not accredited by the BBB-https://www.bbb.org/raleigh-durham/business-reviews/used-car-dealerships/cary-auto-sales-in-cary-nc-17296** "If a business has been accredited by the BBB, it means BBB has determined that the business meets accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. Please feel free to contact me if you would like me to tell you the entire story. The owner is dishonest although he will try to convince you that he is "helping" you. Sam has refused to provide me with a copy of my contract, refused to explain the "other fee" on my receipt that equals $1350. I put down $7400 on a car w a sticker price of $7465 and Sam's way of "helping" is to add arbitrary and bs fees to the point that I owe $2000 more on the car now. At a 20%-well, 18% interest rate because I talked him down but... Here is some advice: 1. Just don't go. I went because I am a student who lives on loans which made obtaining financing difficult and *thought* they were helping me That is what they told me. 2. Do not go there alone; take someone who is experienced and knowledgeable about cars. I mean, take a mechanic. Not your dad. But taking your dad couldnt hurt. Most dads won't take nicely to a shady "business" man taking advantage of his daughter, attempting to steal additional money, here and there. 3. Do not let them rush you through anything because they will try to. They want your money and then they want you out before you get a chance to say anything. Take your time and read every single paper Sam puts in your face to sign. And when they put on their coats and start talking about how hungry they are, read even slower. DO NOT sign anything you have not read entirely AND understood completely. If you dont have someone there to help you understand, DO NOT ask SAM to explain it. Say "I will need more time to review this paperwork". 4. If you go and Sam suggests you buy a car you test drove and then come back the following week to test drive another that wasnt available that day- DO NOT DO IT! ***Read up on common sales scams** 5. Use your phone and record everything that is discussed in his office. You DO NOT need his permission to do this. According to NC law you only need the permission of ONE person involved in the interaction and that person is YOU. ("one party consent law") He will say a lot of stuff that has no substance in the end. He will make verbal deals that he later reneges on. Your recording and your witness could be your saving grace. 6. Document everything. Do not speak to them on the phone and avoid speaking in person as much as possible. Insist on a paper trail; communicate by email. They will try to get you back to their building because that is where they have the most power over you. Simply refuse. Insist on everything in writing. He will make you sign 100 pieces of paper so he shouldn't have a problem with a few emails (unless he's shady and totally trying to scam you). 7. If you buy a car (and for the love of goddess, just don't), insist on a copy of everything before you leave. Sam will hand you a couple folders as "your copies". If you dont check, he wont give you anything. You will need those copies because they are the evidence that Sam is running scams as well as your requirements as buyer. I have requested a copy of my contract no less than 6 times today, and Sam ignores them all except to eventually say that he will provide it if I come in person. (Absolutely not. I never want to set foot on that property again. I do not feel safe on the property or off of it now that all this has happened.) I have had to contact lawyers as well as the local police department because Sam, the "big helper" continued to refuse legitimate requests for information and then threatened to repossess a car that I bought less than 2 weeks ago. And almost paid for completely. I have had to file a complaint with the Attorney General in order to get a copy of my contract. Beware of this dealer. The owner's name is Sam. He initially comes off as an honest guy, but he's really a wolf in sheep clothing and a liar. I purchased a Nissan Altima on Nov 7th for my wife. I let her test drive the car so I was unaware of the acceleration issue. I noticed it on the way home. I called them back a few days later due to my busy schedule. They told me that the car is sold as is and that it passed inspection. I even offered to take a loss of money for the mileage that I put on it on the ride home. I also asked if I can get back the vehicle I traded in. Sam said that he no longer had my trade-in. Funny that it's for sale now. It's a 2010 VW Cc. Don't buy that car it has problems and potentially a bad turbo. The check engine light comes and goes. The code says turbo under boost. I'm not making this up. You can actually see the check engine light in one of the photos. Don't say I didn't warn you about this dealer. Don't spend your hard earned money with these snakes. read more

I put down deposit on a car and then when I took it for an inspection it revealed frontal crash. The car did have a lot of dents and scratches inside and out when we saw it but the owner Sam (Amjad Zoubi) swore it had no accidents or damage, showed me carfax. He said the dents were because of bad driver and that he would fix all of it before we picked up the car. The inspection revealed the crash. The technician showed me how the body parts were badly put together so u could actually see the engine and wires through the gap. Windshield and several other parts were after market parts. Which means they put in cheap parts after the crash. Tires didn't match. Spare tire was not even the right size. All tools were missing. We had always been looking for the same specs and so we loved the car despite our doubts(before inspection). After knowing about the crash and cheap body and parts work we were not going to buy the car. Dealer showed no surprise when I told him what we found. He pretended he had no idea. Said deposit ($500) was non refundable. I also lost my $140 I paid for the inspection. Spend ur honest money elsewhere. If u look at a 2014 blue Honda accord at this place, run. I will share the detailed inspection report for free. There are other reviews that mention bait cars but we tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. Totally not worth it. read more

Did not have a good experience - went there to look at a car that I definitely thought I would buy. When I walked into the office, I was not greeted but had to introduce myself. After I test drove the car, I had some questions about the car. The response from the woman working there at first was "I don't know what is wrong with it." When I suggested that perhaps she find out, she took my phone number and said she would call me. She never did. I like the car but the experience with the shop tells me that (1) they don't care and (2) their attitude is indicative of the service and quality of car you will get. read more
