I found out they were taking a long needed vacation and they let customers know they highly recommend that I take my PC service to Josh's shop 'What Ya Break', in Marina, CA right at the mouth of reservation road. Josh did an excellent and cost effective diagnoses on my old PC and helped me design out and build a new, quieter and more energy efficient PC going forward with an intel i5 Hex CPU, DDR4 memory, MSI motherboard and other important parts moved over from my older machine. My dad spoiled us growing up; we had every gaming system from the regular Nintendo up. Our friends and cousins always wanted to come over to our house so we could play video games. They have original games and systems for sale in the entrance of this shop. The employees were fine. There weren't any issues with service. Their was a guy actively working on something in the backround the entire time we were at the shop and another quietly gaming in the corner. They let us be and in return we tried to be respectful and follow the rules of their arcade. For the four of us to play for an hour was $32. This was a steal given how much our kids spend at our local arcades. No tokens were needed or loaded cards. I kicked my daughter's butt at Mortal combat and Pac man. We as a whole had a great time. The shop was quieter and we weren't complaining. The only recommendation for them would be some kind of cooling inside. It was a fairly warm day and it got kind of stuffy playing games inside. Much to my surprise they called me around 5 pm Thursday and let me know it was already ready. They are open until 6 pm on weekdays so I was able to go and pick it up right away. I'm happy that I was able to get it sooner so to minimize the work I needed to get done for my business. Note: I'm sure I could have replaced it myself but it literally looked like it would blow any minute so I didn't want to take the chance and they also take care of battery disposal which I didn't want to deal with.

They hung my new Samsung OLED but couldn't get it to work properly. I was given an estimate for a new receiver, new universal remote, and labor which came to more than what my new 83" TV cost. I questioned if it was my receiver since it was working fine 48 hours earlier; they said my board was fried. (?) They were also upselling me on a new universal remote, powered blinds, and a home security system. He also boasted about all the 9 M homes he was working on. My instincts told me to walk. I reached out to Randy and he was very diligent in resolving the issue. There was no need for a new receiver or universal remote. After resetting my TV and running a thorough test, he identified that the HDMI was the problem. Rewiring my system is VERY difficult since it required crawling underneath my house in a very tight space, and sectioning a dryer duct housing to access the remote location of the electronics. He also had to fish the new cables through some very tight spots and did so without damaging my new expensive HDMIs. His problem solving and work ethic are unmatched. He will continue working until the job is complete, and done right. He left my home as clean as it was when he arrived. It's great to find a person with such integrity and diligence. On top of all those traits he's meticulous, very respectful and a real nice guy. He's my AV guy moving forward! 5 stars+++!!!
