The kids' cheeseburger comes on a fun car-shaped plate that was a huge hit, and it even comes with ice cream and sprinkles for dessert! I ordered the classic cheeseburger with their special sauce, and it was pure perfection. It's the perfect local spot with great nostalgia and even better food. I've got to be honest, I absolutely loved the food and desserts, but the service was just okay. I'd like to think it was only because they were very busy, but our waitress didn't check on us a single time, even though she consistently checked on the tables right next to us ‍. I had to go out of my way to catch her attention just to get the extra sauce I needed, and I eventually had to ask a completely different staff member to get sprinkles for our dessert.

From the beginning, we focused on simple American breakfast and lunch made with care. Over the years, Pegasus has grown with the community, becoming a steady place for everyday meals and familiar faces." Pegasus is a longstanding landmark in Bay Ridge. I wouldn't call it a diner per se because it is cozy with a few booths and a counter. I would call it a classy coffee shop. The menu has something for everyone: burgers, eggs, pancakes, salads and all the comfort food from home made for you. I had some errands to take care of on 86th street so I decided to stop in; I haven't dined here in a while. Pegasus is not just for Brooklynites, many patrons come from Staten Island and other far away places. As I stood on line I heard " I made a reservation is my table ready?" "45 minutes wait?" and I said "I'll take any seat even the counter" as I was told 30 minutes for a seat. Then, 10 minutes later, three seats opened up at the counter. I found my seat and reviewed the menu; I was in the mood for a turkey burger but they do not offer it anymore. So, I ordered an Impossible Burger deluxe and a cup of coffee. The coffee was served piping hot and it was delicious! Then, my burger came out.TBH I didn't know what to expect. I spread some mayo and ketchup on it and took one bite... delicious! It really tastes like the real thing. The fries were plentiful and also scrumptious. The service was on point: iced water served, coffee cup refilled and love the fact there are extra napkins in the bar to take which I needed. The burger was a little messy but worth it! It is not hard to understand why Pegasus has endured; simple food cooked like a home meal, cozy environment and great service. Pegasus Brooklyn 8610 3rd Avenue 8:15-4:30pm

Then a short museum of Pepsi and I was more shocked to see the various flavors that I've never heard of before. The Peeps collection?!?! Ok....perhaps. The Mango Pepsi was the best one I tried and had that with my meal. The Smore's collection looked interesting too. The diner experience was to be expected seeing it's a pop up. Food was ok...nothing that I'd go back for. Buffalo Pepsi Wings (decent sauce...but couldn't taste the Pepsi), Caleb's New Bern Mac & Cheese (this was great, the pork was sweet from the Pepsi...and blended well with the mac n cheese), No one got the Ruben...the Burger (what I got was ok). Cooked well done, no options there...the best part was the bacon the tots were so well done...like ulta crispy....too crispy..like someone forgot they were in the fryer. The Chicken & Waffles I hear were ok...nothing special. Dessert...I got the Cheesecake, of course..and man, that cherry sauce was intense!!! Super, super sweet...that cheesecake could have been a bit more bland to help out...couldn't finish that. Without having an expectation, this was entertaining especially once the trivia started. Never knew most of those items and fun to see the participants in the game.

This brand experience attempt for Pepsi has potential but failed on so many levels. In the end,…read more the food quality was poor and the experience was lackluster efforts from a marketing org. For example: 1. The Pepsi Challenge is fake. They don't ask you to pick your preferred soda. They ask you to pick Pepsi. Guess what... both sodas you taste ARE Pepsi. So what's the point? 2. Decorations were nice but the event relied on patrons watching monitors to see videos. Pity many patrons were seated in locations that couldn't see any displays. 3. Food was subpar. We tried the wings which were not crispy and drowned in a sweet sauce that left a mess. The Mac & cheese with pulled pork tasted grainy, but like a powder. The pork was again covered in suite cola sauce that lacked any BBQ quality. 4. Continuing with food. Our entrees were a burger and tots. When they changed the lights to blue, it made the lettuce look extremely unsavory like seaweed. Tots were fine. Also got the Chicken and waffle sandwich. It was tasty but came with no sides. Lastly dessert was a Milk and Pepsi ice cream float that was served warm and couldn't be consumed. Was just gross. The cheesecake was fine but covered in a berry cola sauce that ruined the taste. 5. Soda flashback was nice. Getting to enjoy Crystal Pepsi and Pepsi Blue were nice treats. The cocktails and mocktails advertised before the event suddenly came with $18 and $9 price tags consumers weren't told about. They also didn't offer many legacy Pepsi products 6. Basic service elements didn't exist. When we asked our waiter for an extra plate so we could share food, he told us there are none. 7. MC hosting the event did a commendable job but had very little to work with. It was more of a distraction than someone who made the experience better. Overall, this pop-up experience was a let down. I would've expected a better job from Pepsi given what they charged consumers to attend a meal.
