The service was absolutely wonderful, the employees were so sweet and kind. However, the ice cream was just okay to me, and the oreos did not taste that good. I may go back to try other flavors though.

Shards of plastic in my ice cream. I saw the kid change the plastic cover, now I realize it broke on him while he was mixing my cavanalanche with reeses and oreos. He knew he screwed up, but still served a costumer this BS. I ate a few pieces too, until I caught the small one and saw what it is. 9.80 for a cup of ice cream with plastics shards. This is dangerous.

$8.50 for large oreo shake. I think they also charged for whip cream because he said it was $6.99 before we said yes. Really?? Ok, if it were good like van leuwen good, but it was more like van crappen. This spot has been here for at least 3 decades that I can count but I wager longer. Fine it's an institution and honestly we literally have no other ice creamery to go in the middle of summer than here. Rain or shine they always have a line June through August. Every single time I shake my head after one sip or lick of pure butter fat churned sugar with artificial additives. Someone like VL or ample hills- come open one in Sheepshead bay and put Carvel out of their misery.

Carvel has been a staple to this neighborhood for over 20 years. the pistachio milkshake and sundaes are my favorite.

This is a great ice cream spot not simply because the staff here are really friendly, they have 2 types of ice creams one regular carvel ice cream and the other they make kosher ice cream. They also have a nice bug parking lot plus outdoor sitting area in a nice summer day to enjoy the ice creams. We went on Wednesday which to our surprise had a long line outside at 10pm and that we found out was due to Buy 1 Get 1 free Sundays on Wednesday !!! Enjoy

    Whole lotta icecream!

Hands down one of my favorite Carvel Locations! They have a parking lot!! FREE PARKING!!! YES, THERE IS FREE PARKING IN BROOKLYN!! Ice cream at this location is always super fresh and they oddly have such a large amount of soft serve machines here its insane! Do you know what this means?? Unique flavors like Biscoff cookie that can be served as soft serve and hard. They have some of my favorite flavors including my top pick maple walnut. The selection of cakes is on point! They have so many unique cakes with a LARGE SELECTION to choose from!! Some staff is better than others as they will ask if they can give you samples or if you need free cup of crunchies with the purchase of your cake and others are okay, for the most part I've always had good experiences at this location. I think all Carvel icecream runs around the same concept that has filled our hearts and bellies for decades but this Carvel really caters to its customers. FUN FACT:IMPRACTICAL JOKERS were at this location! Credit card minimum $10. Cash accepted. Everyone knows the best day to go to carvel is Wendsday?? BOGO!! In all seriousness great Carvel!

Definitely one of the sheepshead bays neighborhoods favorite ice cream place to go. They are usually crowded on nice days but they have a large staff so they get people in and out, QUICK, so I need to give them credit. One thing which I didn't appreciate was when I called in to order our ice cream cake. The lady who answered was rude and rushed us off the phone while saying she knew the spelling of my nieces name and ended up getting it wrong- lol, just shows ignorance. Overall the ice cream is always good and the fudgy the whale cake was awesome, just wish their people skills over the phone were a little bit on the nicer end.

My small ( not to small actually) proline and strawberry mix.

The menu is pretty expansive and covers what you'd expect from a boba place, including fresh fruit teas, brown sugar bobas, yakult drinks, matcha ones, and the normal milk teas. It's interesting that the drinks only came in one size according to the type. I ordered a honeydew milk tea, and tried to get it as a small or medium, but they only had large. Boba was also an extra 75 cents. The drink itself was ok, it was both very sweet and watery. You couldn't taste any tea flavor. The boba was below average and there was hardly any in the drink. It didn't even fully cover the bottom of the cup. They were pretty soft, but didn't have any flavor. My friend got the standard milk tea and it also tasted pretty watery. The service was also pretty slow. The woman who took our order was a bit rude and we had to actively try to flag her down, even though the restaurant was empty. Overall, I wouldn't come back for boba. Tbar, which is nearby is a much better alternative.

With little kids in the group, we knew we'd make a ruckus so we got a private room to contain our group's shrieking laughter, which worked out very well. The staff was really accommodating and the prices per hour are very affordable. We picked out some familiar games like Exploding Kittens, Catan, Jenga and Scrabble, but also a handful of new games mostly made by the same company who created Exploding Kittens. Those games are always fair and easy to learn. We ended up liking Throw Throw Burrito so much we purchased the game for ourselves at Target so we could have it for our weekend family trip. We also ordered a handful of bites, like popcorn chicken, fries, and bubble tea. The food is nothing to write home about, but food is not the reason most people visit Next Move Cafe. For a fun day of gaming with a small group, consider NMC, where the prices are low, the games are plentiful, and the staff is ultra sweet.

The star of the show: purple yam souffle with vanilla ice cream is chefs kiss!! I thought I couldn't like any dessert more than their chocolate molten lava cake but this one definitely takes the spot. Top two desserts they have! Even when I had lava cakes at fancy establishments, it doesn't hold a candle to prince tea house! Their crepe cakes are also alright but I've found the to be less unique and enjoyable especially the brown sugar boba which sometimes comes out in clumps hard to pour onto the cake. Their food selection is decent for sandwiches like chicken katsu and also fries. Their fruity teas aren't my style but their hot milk teas are amazing. The lavender green tea was more green tea which was disappointing, hoped to taste more lavender. The best one is the rose lovers milk tea, literally perfection each time. Unfortunately, this place may no longer be my usual. My favorite part of this place is that the serves don't really care about you in the sense that the bring you food and leave you alone. However, they now impose mandatory 20% tip on all tables even for table of 1 or 2. This location only. As someone who realizes the servers here simply bring food and nothing else here (which I actually love as I don't like to be bothered) but expect a high mandatory tip, this is not the way to go. Especially since there have been numerous occasions where servers are nowhere to be seen and refuse to service you for something as simple as napkins or a check if they're not your server, this is an absurd addition. Definitely visiting less now that this happened. The most bothersome is that it's mandatory. Doesn't seem right/ethical and makes it feel less genuine. Had the pleasure of visiting other prince tea house locations and the service seems better, even water without asking, surprising cash discount, and most importantly: don't impose this mandatory tip! Not sure what changed here but not what it used to be with this and it needs to change. TDLR: -best options here: rose lovers milk teas, chocolate lava cake, purple yam soufflé -major con: new mandated 20% tip!! on all tables, even table of 1 or 2, which is unheard of at other prince tea house locations and even fancy restaurants!
