Once to tell me the dog would be done in 35-40 minutes an hour in and the next to call me 5 minutes after that time was up to tell me that she didn't do the nail trim that was included with the service and that she was leaving for the day cause her shift was over. My dog was there for 2 hours, I don't understand how she didn't have time to complete it. She said my dog was being wiggly and that's why it wasn't done. I literally pay to bring my dogs here so that I don't have to trim their nails myself. I don't have the ability to do it at home. I am disappointed that now I have to take my dog somewhere else and pay more money to complete a service I already paid for. She was gone at 2:02pm when I came to pick up my dog and there were other groomers there that could have completed the groom if she needed to leave so badly. She also tried to upsell me on a Furminator package that I didn't order and now I think that's hilarious because she wouldn't have had time to finish it anyway.

There were chicks getting out of their bins and running all over the store. Chicks were hopping from bin to bin so the breeds were getting mixed up so no clue what chick was what. There were dead chicks in the bins , and lots of chicks bleeding, saw one with broken wing and couple with deformed/broken beaks. it was very heartbreaking to see. Nothing at all like it was when we came here in 2025 to get chicks. I felt horrible for all those babies, we rescued two chicks. Within 48hrs of having them home one passed away. The store was nice and let us get a replacement chick for one that died. Got that chick home and settled in. Next morning I check on the chicks abd see bloody poop in the pen. The chicks, most likely are infected with Coccidiosis, so had to run out get medication to hopefully be able to save these two babies. Never again will I step foot into this place. Sad to see the state they keep their birds in now a days.

I tried calling several times to reconcile this via ordering over the phone or obtain some type of of coupon that could be used online, but my calls went unanswered over several days and later my calls were answered by an automated message saying their phone system was done. Because customer service had previously been favorable, I made the order online and sent an email asking for the credit to be applied. One week after the order was placed, and ten days after leaving my last voicemail with customer service, I received a call answering that message. The service rep, Dominique, was pleasant, but she could not help us with applying the credit. We had not yet received a confirmation of order or shipping notification, which we asked Dominique to provide. She said that would be provided and also said that the order would be shipping in no less than three business days, probably sooner. Instead, five business days later I received a notification that the items would be shipped the following day. KW Cages has quality products and if you order one month in advance, you might just get want you ordered when you need it.

They did a great job on grooming my pet and make sure he smelled good at the end. They provided me recommendations on how often to come in. They gave my dog praises and a treat once he was done. They provided pictures of how the results were prior to my picking him up. They provided in detail any items to pay attention to that they noticed. Great job on being thorough and taking care of the customer. Great job on treating other customers (not just myself, but I observed how they treated others as well). If there were any downsides to mention, it would be that their prices are a little more on the premium side than what I'm used to (as my previous groomer for my dog parted ways with her employer, so I had to find a new one). This change was implemented April 1,2026. Not kenneling dogs after grooming shouldn't be treated like some kind of premium add-on--it should be part of standard, humane care. I would think that most customers aren't leaving their dogs there for half a day so this fee feels unnecessary and out of touch with how people actually use the service. It comes across less like an improvement in care and more like a way to tack on an extra charge under the guise of something that should already be included. For a brand that markets itself as being about quality and ethical grooming, this change feels inconsistent and, frankly, a bit disappointing.
