The team here is absolute amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better repair shop to take my car to. The customer service was incredibly helpful throughout my entire insurance claim process, and all the employees were very nice and informative. I had my car taken in for some damage to the bottom shield below the engine. They repaired it not only efficiently, but also extremely fast! I was surprised by how easy the process was. My insurance company recommended that I go to Stofa's as everything can be done in one place - estimate, repair, and for a rental car to meet me there. It was really convenient which I appreciated. Also every person who works there is super helpful, respectful and friendly. Pat did such a great job in helping me out and even noticed peeling paint, and told me how my dealership may approve it to be repainted. I will always recommend this place for collision. I have not yet used them for auto repair, yet, though. They were fantastic. I had an accident near Spackenkill High School and had it towed to Stofa(sidenote- don't use Redl's towing. They scam there customers, body shops, insurance compaines, and roadside service companies that they work with) caused I saw it was a certified Subaru collision center. They were able to fix the car up so it doesn't get totaled, had it back to me in under the estimated time to get repaired, and in even better shape than what I gave it to them in. He even vacuumed and did minor detail work in my car. Thanks, sparkly clean! I will use them if needed in the near future. I must say... these people are outstanding! I took my 2014 Cadillac there after a major collision requiring over $12,000 of repair.... They did a great job! The car looks great and actually rides better than it ever has! It had some ride issues which the dealer could never resolve, but Stofa's with a long history of automotive repair experience and now with their expanded auto collision arm were able to not only produce a collision repair that rivals a new car but also resolve the ride issue which had been present since purchasing the car new. I use Stofa's for all my car repair needs. They do good work, and charge a fair price. They aren't cheap, but they also don't try to rip you off. Their techs will spend the time to explain to you what work they did, and why it was necessary. The staff treat customers well, unlike some other repair shops in the area. My only complaint is that they are sometimes just too busy. They are a very popular shop, and have a limited number of garage bays, so making an appointment ahead of time for repairs is essential. read more

I went for my annual inspection - not a big deal, but a big deal for me, as this was my first time ever going to a mechanic. As a young woman inexperienced with cars and mechanics, I was a bit worried about what to expect. But I was incredibly pleased! I walked in and was immediately helped; the people explained everything kindly and even worked around my schedule so I could get out in the next hour and a half to get to work! They were so pleasant, made everything understandable, and charged a fantastic price. Got my inspection done, fixed my brakes, and found some empowerment! Go Stofa's! They can start by not being crooks and lying to people just to get their business. They start the work and add things on without telling you after original quote and then still expect you to pay for it! When they should be telling you about the additional stuff before they do it to give you the choice on whether or not you want it! Then they act like they're doing you a favor by taking it off the bill, oh how noble of you! It's bad practice is what it is. Horrible customer service. Major nepotism between father and son. The son is an outright liar and father backs him up. Dont let your vehicle get towed there, you'll be making a HUGE mistake! Also double charges for parts you can easily get from reputable sources for half the price! Then mysteriously finds new problems that weren't there before! And yet that how they treat family apparently, because part of their moto is that they treat customers like family, which is utter BS!! I'd give it ZERO STARS but it won't let me submit my review without at least one star. read more
