This was a complete disaster. In short, they did cosmetic repairs over frame damage, despite telling me multiple times there was no frame damage. The repair took multiple attempts and 3 1/2 months. The panels and doors were all misaligned and had gaps. I had it independently inspected after repairs were complete and that shop told me that the repairs were "egregious" Insurance ultimately declared it an "obvious total loss" after $16000 was spent fixing it. Terrible customer service, insurance company forced us to go through this shop and they took our car said it would only take a week to fix, ended up taking over a week and a half. When we picked up the car they just gave us the key and didn't do any follow up with what was done with the car, less than a day after getting the car back my door was squeaking. Considering they just replaced it I took it back to get it checked out. I also noticed paint chipping and blotting everywhere around the door they replaced. When I brought the car in they took it for an hour and a half after stating it would only take maximum 30 minutes to fix. When I got it back there was still paint chips and blots everywhere and I had to point everything out so they could get it right. This place calls themselves experts but this door replacement looks like it was done by a 12 year old kid. Never would ever recommend this place. read more

Everyone was polite, positive, communicative, and efficient. They also called Enterprise for my pick-up, which was a nice bonus. I got my bumper repaired this time, and it looks so good that you can't tell it wasn't replaced. I love that they wash your car, too. You expect to get your car back in better shape when you drop it off for repairs, but when the "better shape" extends beyond the part that needed it? Well, that's a great feeling. I can't say enough good things about the business. I got into a car accident on a Saturday two weeks ago when a stupid driver suddenly changed lanes and rammed into my car. I called around several body shops the first thing on Monday but was told to expect mid-December to even January. My seatbelt was toast and my front bumper was about to fall off, so that was not an option. I found CARSTAR on Yelp and decided to give them a try. They were able to get me in on that Wednesday! The people were friendly and professional, which gave me great confidence. Most importantly, they seem to turn things around ahead of schedule. They originally gave me a week to get my car ready, just before Thanksgiving. Because of the holiday delays in getting parts, I was resigned to waiting until the first week of December when I received a call from them on the original Wednesday. I was absolutely amazed with the quality of service at CarStar. After I was rear-ended, the back of my car was mangled, but the repair looks incredible (and actually better than it did prior to the accident). When I picked up my car, it was not only repaired, but also washed, vacuumed, and cleaned on the inside. It looked brand new. Also, every staff member was helpful, friendly, and communicative. Nick called me multiple times per week throughout the repair process with updates on how the repair was going, and I always felt in-the-loop. Everyone was so helpful and responsive - took awhile to get me in for a fix but that's everywhere these days. They prioritized fixing my car once it was in the shop and coordinated pick up and drop off from the rental car company for me when I dropped of my car and then picked it up. I had a horrible stain on my hood from a water sprinkler at my apartment complex. My insurance looked at the stain, and like me assumed I needed a scrub and then paint. Fortunately, Clarity (her real name) at Carstar thought to perform a scrub, that would leave my original paint job in place. The final cost was less than 10% of what my insurance estimated the cost to be. Afterwards, they washed the exterior, and vacuumed the interior. It was a relief from the go: they were positive, professional and reassuring. I received two update calls, which were greatly appreciated. They were able to get the car in and finished within a week. I went to Bothell Auto Rebuild as the insurance company of the car who hit me said it was one of their shops. I had intended to take it to another shop to get the work done. After receiving such excellent customer service from them from the moment I walked in, I was sure I was going to take my car there and I am glad I did. They sent me the quote right away and no and said they had time in the next few days open so would be a good time to get the work done. I set up an apt for Wednesday and they said my car would likely be done Friday. It was done within about 24 hours and it looked spectacular. When I picked it up, it looked like they had detailed it because it looked so good and even had three daisies next to the console. Really sweet touch. Great group of people. I do not usually leave Reviews, but I want other people to know how great the customer service is here. I called CARSTAR to schedule an appointment to repair my car after a car crash I had endured, and they said they would be able to get me in that same day. Due to me being busy at work and also me not expecting for them to get me in so quickly I had to schedule for the next day. Now previously I had called another company and they said my wait time would be another 2 to 3 weeks. The representative I talked to asked if I could send pictures of the damage to my car to their email so they can do an estimate and order parts. By the time I dropped off my car the following day they had half the car parts that they ordered the previous day in the shop. They were very proactive, and had my car fixed and cleaned in a week. For the amount of damage that my car had, the amount of time they were able to repair it was unbelievable and I was really shocked and impressed. They even were able to fix my previous car problems prior to the crash. The people who worked at the CARSTAR here was very professional and kept me heavily updated on my car. I felt like they made me a priority and I didn't feel like they were taking any shortcuts with me. My car looked brand new and I was impressed on how well they cleaned the exterior and interior of my car. They went beyond my expectations.
