I'm really please with CC. Late last year had a lot of family drama happening and backed out of my garage and partially detached the antenna on my 4Runner. I finally got the car into CC for the repair. I wasn't concerned about the cosmetic scratched. I just wanted to be sure the antenna was secure and would not leak. CC completed the repair very quickly (about 2 days) and or much less than I was planning. I would definitely recommend CC to friends if they needed a repair shop. read more

After a fender-bender, my insurance company recommended Caliber; I used them because they were just down the road from my home. I'm so glad I did! My rep, JD, kept me updated every step of the way by text or phone. Work was completed earlier than they quoted and my truck looked great! They are just around the corner of the parking lot from Enterprise Rental cars; which made picking up and dropping off my loaner so simple. Have you ever heard the expression 'the sixth time is a charm'? Me neither. But it was only on the sixth estimated completion date (ECD) and after four months that Caliber Collision was able to return my car to me, fixed. Before I set forth an abbreviated (believe it or not) timeline of my experience: 1. I did read their fine print. (highly recommended) 2. Full quotes indicate quoted text messages. 3. I am not going to name employee names as I am not taking my experience with Caliber personally. The six ECD's were: 11/11/22; 12/23/22; 12/30/22; 1/6/23; 1/20/23; 1/27/23. Along the way I was informed by Caliber that there were no back ordered parts (10/11/22); that Caliber was "nearing completion" (11/1/22); that there actually was a back ordered part (11/2/22) and that the part arrived on 12/16/22. At this point the ECD was 12/30/22. That was moved to 1/6/23. On 1/5 I asked if there was any chance I would get the car on 1/6. No reply until 1/6 and the reply did not answer the question but I was told that my car was "... almost complete and ready for paint." I heard nothing more from Caliber that day, a Friday, so on Monday 1/9 I walked to the shop to see what was going on. I was shown the car and it was not even close to 'nearing completion' or 'almost complete.' Later that day the ECD was moved to 1/20. While I was at the shop I noticed that the part they had been waiting for, the absence of which had stopped progress, had arrived on 12/16/22 and was still sitting on the floor. I went back on 1/16 and a different person took me to my car, where I observed that it had not been worked on in the past week which meant the part whose absence was causing delays had still not been used. But at least this person was able to get things moving - the technician working on my car had been sick and a new technician was assigned. The ECD was moved for the sixth and last time to 1/27 and it was on 1/27, four months after I dropped it off, that I got my car back. I will mention that Caliber set up a web site to track progress and it was from the web site and from text messages, some generated via an algorithm and some typed by an employee that I kept getting incorrect information about the status of the work and the moved-out ECD's. When I was at Caliber on 1/16 I was told that I had 'opted out' of text messages. I told them that, no, I had not opted out of text messages and I asked if it was possible to find out how their system came to believe that I had chosen to no longer get text messages. I still do not know how that happened. They did fix the car and I now have transportation again. I do not know how much of the delay was out of Caliber's control. I do know that the backordered part sat for at least four weeks before it was used and I do know that the inaccurate information had nothing to do with lack of resources, human or otherwise. And I know that I was repeatedly promised communication that did not take place such as: I will update you later in the week - and then no update. Is this a rare situation, a problem confined to this and only this Caliber location? I do not know. But the above is a short version of my long encounter with Caliber. read more

My front bumper was damaged. Kalen at Bothell CC had my car fixed. He and the auto techs were able to get me in quickly on a cancellation and had my car back to me in 3 days. I was in a car accident on 11/16/21 that was bad enough they kept my car for a solid month; It took 30 days to fix my car because there were so many other accidents they had to deal with. I worked with only one person for the entire month, called JD. He was awesome. He kept me updated on the process of my car's repairs, let me know if they needed to do anything that would alter the schedule or my car, and even took care of a couple of scrapes that weren't part of the original accident. He also dealt with the insurance company on the claim, and I didn't have to bicker with them or even speak with them other than to report the original claim. I really appreciated having someone to deal with the process so I didn't have to. I was dealing with a personal injury from the accident and had doctor appointments and MRIs to deal with. I would not hesitate to return to Caliber if I had any other issues with my car. I felt very protected and like I had someone representing me in my accident. This is one of those times I wish I could give 3 1/2 stars but Yelp does not allow that. Last year we had our car repaired there (my fault with a trailer) and were generally pleased. Professional job, looked like new. And we were given a good debrief when we picked it up. A bit more expensive than the quote and the 2 week estimate turned into 3 1/2 weeks. No worries, we work at home and were able to coordinate use of our second car. Insurance covered the vast majority of the cost. But what left me with a bad taste was this: We picked it up on a dark winter night. The next day we noticed a few white streaks on the rear left quarter panel so obvious that the driver no doubt would have seen previously. Contacted the company, I said that while we could not prove, there was ample reason to believe it occurred at their shop. Manager response was very customer oriented, said no worries, bring it in and they'd buff it out (I sent pics). I asked what dates would be good, no response. Asked again, no response. Asked a third time, no response. OK, I can take the hint. Might have had more respect if they'd initially said "sorry, not our problem!" I hope that we don't need a auto body shop in the future, but if we do, this won't be it. read more

My car was hit by a drunk driver in front of my townhouse, Caliber Collision worked so hard on making sure my vehicle looked and drove as it did when it was rolled off the factory floor. I can't believe how great of job they did. They texted me throughout the process and gave me updates on every stage. They worked so well with my insurance company and the contra. Just as i expected, they fixed all the issues i had with my car including the over spray and what JD called "dust nibs" on the roof. JD even offered me a ride to and from. And if you don't have rental coverage like me on your insurance, it's probably better if you had one, specially if they'll keep your car for a week or so. There were some left over spray on the paint that they didn't catch however but JD and his crew got them off within minutes so no worries. The roof now looks great with no more dust nibs. Im generally satisfied with this shop now. I'm sure they will review their procedure and revise it so that these things won't happen in the future. read more

Update from my last review: Mike the GM was great, he even took the time to message me to figure out what was going on with the car , they took a look at the car and tighten the bolts on the charging door to make sure everything was nice and tight and was told that if anything goes wrong again with the charging door to bring it right back and they would fix it, he even gave me his card to contact him directly, he also apologize from what I was told previously by the other guy. Unfortunately our car was involved in a hit and run collision. After speaking with our insurance company (Farmers) we opted to go with the preferred vendor for collision repair. One of the best decisions we have made regarding car repair. I can not say enough good things about our experience! We had the absolute pleasure of working with Devon. He always communicated clearly, in a timely manner which never left us guessing and treated us like family. Everyone there was very friendly and promptly took care of us. Customer service was stellar. And even though we ran into some issues with the after market bumper we purchased (no fault of theirs) they worked with all the issues we had getting the new bumper and took any stress off of us. I have a high level of quality assurance with regards to how we spend our hard earned money. Devon and Caliber Collision earned customers for life. We will only take our cars there from here on out.
