It's a small, easily accessible, and a very cleanly campus. I enjoyed my visit there.

I always leave feeling rejuvenated -- and at age 75, that is no small feat. The only reason I didn't give it the fifth star is that the current location is not quite as commodious as some of her previous offices.

I took classes here in Acupressure and I just want to say that I struck a gold mine when I found the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine. The classes were taught by Linda Khanzetian, a Doctor of Natural Health. Dr. Linda is an excellent teacher. I could not have asked for a better teacher than someone with her background and level of experience. She's thorough, patient, and answered most of my questions before I could even ask them. The wisdom that she shared I could not have discovered in a book on the subject or picked up from instructional videos. More than anything, her passion for the natural healing arts came through loud and clear. To say the least, it inspired me and further motivated my desire to practice Acupressure. At the conclusion of the classes, I understood a lot and felt like I received what I needed to pursue this area of the healing arts. I should also mention that I found the spa setting there to be very conducive to learning.

My mom was really reluctant to go and is now glad she did! This treatment center blends time-honored East Asian medicine with modern medical approaches, offering a more holistic path to healing -- finding the root of the issue not just managing symptoms. Dr. Parker was a GEM! She gave us a tour of their herbal dispensary, where they blend specific herbs to support internal healing, treating the body both inside and out. She shared how certain factors contribute to my back fatigue before starting my treatment. The acupuncture itself was a 2-3 on the pain scale, since I am ticklish, I did jump a whole lot. Acupuncture focuses on specific points to help restore balance and activate the body's natural healing mechanisms--it's like a reset. The cupping felt like a 1 on the pain scale. incredibly relaxing from start to finish. Cupping replenished the cupped areas with healthier blood flow, stimulating healing at a cellular level. Despite being ticklish, I didn't find either treatment painful. My mom received the same treatment for her leg and said she felt fantastic afterward. The clinic offers 1:1 professional acupuncture or discounted student-led treatments, making it accessible for all. My back feels amazing and I've had the best sleep in a long time. Parking is plentiful as well!

My blood pressure lowers as soon as I walk into her calming office and I always leave feeling physically and mentally stronger and more serene. I'd never done acupuncture before and was a skeptic as I'm sure many are. Here's the deal....she has somehow managed to "fix" anything I've thrown at her from issues with willpower to aches and pains to stomach problems to exhaustion. Honestly, the thing that I love the most and keeps me coming back is that I've never met anyone, EVER, who believes in and loves what they do more than Robin does. The love she has for her craft alone could heal someone....really it could. Sometimes I think that she loves her job and cares about my well-being so much that she is able to "will" my issues away. Is it Robin or is it the medicine? I've given up trying to figure it out and just decided to go with it. Does it really matter anyway when it's working as well as it does?!
