My hair is growing in and my dry eyes, while not yet healed, are less painful when I waken in the morning. To give you some back story, I have always been a very healthy person. I've always been into…read morepersonal fitness and proper nutrition, eat a balanced diet of organic foods, make smart lifestyle choices that promote health, etc. However, starting about two years ago, I began to notice an extreme decline in the amount of daily energy I had. I was still working long hours in addition to countless hours of cousework in my university classes, but the difference was in my body's response to it. Even when I had a time to relax and recooperate, my body continued to elicit an exhausted response, and even after a solid month of relaxation, there wasn't a significant improvement in the overall amount of energy I had. Additionally, I had previously become very sick from a severe cold/flu about a year prior. After two weeks with a strong antibiotic, there was no improvement. Two more weeks with a different antibiotic, and again, no improvement. One more session of two more weeks, with test after test on my blood, and no improvement was to be seen. I finally stopped going to my MD, and haven't had much faith in the alopathic medical tradition. I was referred to Dr. Marie from a number of my colleagues, and I was amazed at the amount of effort that Dr. Marie puts forth in order to assist all of her patients with their conditions. She did an extremely thorough in-take about my prior medical history, and even the smallest issue was worth discussing for it's potential signs. The next thing she did was recommend an anti-inflammatory diet to challenge things in my diet, as we noticed trends within my typical meals of dairy and wheat. I was sent home with this, several other suggestions for improving my daily health, a series of naturopathic supplements and vitamins, and was told to contact her again in a few weeks to let her know how things went. The diet was a huge success and has changed my overall health exponentially. Not only do I feel healthier and have hightened energy, I also notice an improvement in my personal life and the relationships I have with others.
