I also didnt have time to bring my own blanket one day (she doesn't provide them or sheets either) and she was nasty about it. It's $200 for first appointment. I had suffered from a difficult to treat intestinal infection for 8 months which required rounds…read moreand rounds of antibiotics which in themselves did a number on my intestinal tract and gut health. The infection was finally cleared but it left me with a type of pseudo-colitis and I was still having abdominal pain, and other unpleasant symptoms. All the doctors told me was to eat yogurt and take pro biotics which I was doing, but it didn't help much. I did a lot of research about restoring gut health but most of it did not give specifics. I felt like I needed someone who knew what they were doing to help guide me through it, tell me exactly what to eat, take and when in order to help me restore my destroyed gut microbiome. I decided to think outside the box and seek out a Traditional Chinese Medicine specialist. Kathryn put me on a specific diet plan which included supplements plus acupuncture for the abdominal pain. After just two treatments, once a week apart, I could tell a difference. I finally turned the corner and by week 4 the pain was gone, my gut was healing and things were finally getting back to normal again. Kathryn not only helped facilitate the healing process but helped me get my life back. I can now go places and plan trips without the fear of being sick away from home and always having to be near a bathroom. Her knowledge about gut health and the steps to take to restore it were invaluable. I am truly thankful for her help.

Easily 5 of 5! Professional & friendly staff, very reasonable price, and the most flexible…read moreschedule anywhere, hands down! Family owned which directly appeals to my family's interests. Father, Son, & Son are chiropractors, and Mom is standby office asst for staff time off. They still focus on personal relationships; remembering our interests, and will ask how the weekend plans went on the first visit of the week (recalling Thursday's discussion). A lost art in today's fast-paced lifestyle that the McAuliffe's have mastered! As for me, I drive by the office on my way home from DC 2-days a week. My schedule fluctuates and ... then there's the traffic. That said, if I'm 30 min late, no problem. If my wife & son make it in separately, I just go in alone. If I miss a day I just pop in the next day. If I miss 2 visits in a row, I get a call asking if I'm OK and to see when I'll make it by - WOW! For the price, I've read all the others saying they were excessive. I wholeheartedly think those posts are exaggerated at 3x to 5x or even higher than the actual price quote. I pay less for chiropractic for my family of 3 than my monthly internet/cell service. I've seen chiropractors in VA, GA, and researched the Laurel area, and McAuliffe Chiropractic had on par or better prices than all others. Their intake process takes a few days (x-ray, review, one-on-one consult, and personalized health plan). This IS the industry standard prior to an adjustment. 4 chiropractors in 3 states - they all had a similar process. Don't be soured by the first 3 days of a 2 year (or decade) relationship. Anything less would be shortsighted and medically ill-advised. In summary, Dr. T has focused on wellness through routine service. He doesn't run a "fly by night chiro service;" and you won't find "pay 'em and forget 'em" chiropractic here. However, if you're seeking a Wellness Chiropractic Center with weekly or so visits and a family-friendly, proactive engagement, seek no more!

My 1984 U.S. Army Airborne School Jump Week injuries just got worse over four decades. I suffered a crash-and-burn landing during the required Night Jump. I have military neck, which means I've lost the natural curve of my cervical spine. This causes all kinds of issues. Through adjustments and x-rays, I was well on my way to address my nine neck and back conditions. Try to stay positive. This is indeed a deliberate and proven process that takes time and your committment. The atmosphere here is uplifting! The doctors take whatever time is necessary to address your question and concerns. I feel as though I'm speaking with my friends when there. I'm sticking with this office, go to StretchLab, and see an acupuncturist every week. This combination works for my body. I highly recommend this practice for all your chiropractic needs. I don't think they care about me--I know they care about my health and me! To your better health! Best wishes, Ted

I found this wonderful gem many years ago, when the clinic was in a small clinic area in…read moreCatonsville, and I was immediately drawn to the place's Earth-centric wellness. It was small and quiet, and you really did not know what to expect because, at the time, it was an open area with recliner chairs for the clients. It was so calming, and speaking with a practitioner about your concerns was comforting. There was no rush, and you really felt heard and relaxed there. Once COVID happened, like most businesses, they were not available, and I was looking for that little gem of a place, but found out they had moved down the street and had a new owner. I was very skeptical about going because of my great experience, and it always seems that once new owners take over a business, it's just not the same anymore. Reluctantly, I decided to give it a try at the new location and with the new owner, and I am so delighted that I did. It was the absolute best decision I made for my well-being in a long time. The new place was bigger and had private rooms, unlike the last location. They even added a massage therapist to the practice. All the practitioners are genuinely nice and care about your health journeys and your health goals. Dr. Stephanie and Brad are amazing practitioners; they ask insightful questions about your health goals, offer insightful advice to help you achieve them, and always make sure you feel better after treatment. I have become a complete and total client with the clinic and have learned so much about myself and my healing journey. It is wonderful to actually know that you are heard and seen by someone. I highly recommend this place to people who want to improve their health and are ready to take their health journey in a positive direction.

I find it incredibly helpful to relieve stress and anxiety, in part because I'm just sitting in one spot, literally pinned down :-) and it is quiet/soothing music plays. I think. There are a bunch of big comfy chairs in a communcal room and two private rooms. Fred sold the place and I've only been back once with the new (current) folks but they seemed great too. I should have written this sooner and you shouldn't wait to go! Once someone was snoring real loud in the group room so I bring earplugs or airpods with chill music ready to go. The snoring was kinda soothing in a different way, ha.
