The price for the class was affordable and you really get bang for your buck since everything is included. Tia was an amazing and patient instructor and I left feeling more than prepared to save a life if needed. The class materials were very clean and you can tell they take care of their dummies. I could see the instructor wiping them down and placing a protective film over the mouth so I didn't feel like I was getting germs from other students. The class was small enough for all of us to have our own dummy and (adult and infant) and I even got to take home a textbook for my own reference. Tia made sure to tell us what page each video was referring too and I was able to take notes and underline things as we went along. Thanks to Tia, I passed the test on the first try. I also received my new BLS card in my email the same day. I truly appreciate the CMAG team and definitely recommend them for their CPR classes. I will definitely be returning here to renew my certification in 2 years.

Gave her my money, got no email confirmation of the course. The address listed was not the address for the course. I have to contact her the morning of the event because the address on the website is a hotel, and they have no idea who this person is. Her official number is not accepting message. Luckily she had texted me from her burner phone, so I had that number, then she calls me back (20 minutes after the class is supposed to start), and says it is at the local library. I get there, and there is one other poor victim there with me. It is immediately obvious that she does not know anything about ACLS. The other RN and I are just flabbergasted. There is no equipment. She left halfway through the course to run errands while we watched videos and took the written test. The megacode was us sitting around the table and talking it through. Now it is nearly a month later, and her burner phone that she actually answered has been disconnected. I called AHA and they can't do anything to help me. I am filing a complaint with AHA. AHA gave me two numbers of companies that she is supposed to be affiliated with, Tidewater Community College and First Response Advantage. First Response says they have not been affiliated with her since 5/2018, and Tidewater CC has already received 3 other calls inquiring about this person, and the person I need to talk to is on vacation until next week. DO NOT GIVE THIS PERSON YOUR MONEY!!

She never provided the course materials and did not reply to my many attempts to schedule the course. Ultimately I had to schedule through another business to certify. Ms. Morrisey has refused to reimburse me the full cost ($185), and has ignored my repeated e-mails, phone calls, voice-mails, and text messages. I contacted the American Heart Association, who stated that Ms. Morrisey is not even approved to teach the course. She is a scammer and a thief.

As I entered the building, I was immediately greeted by the security guard. After checking my identification, he directed me to the donation room. As I entered the donation area, I was once again, immediately greeted. Each person with which I interacted was VERY professional and courteous. I was seen almost immediately (in advance of my appointment time). The technician that took care of me (Ms. S) was one of the fastest and most polite people I have ever had the fortune with which to work (not that I did much). Her donation stick was painless and fast. She explained each step of the process and what to do and expect post donation. The 'recovery' canteen was bountiful. I took in my share of cookies and juices. Upon my departure, I was thanked again and given a t-shirt.

I am a regular donor, so I use the American Red Cross app to make my appointment, and to fill out the Rapid Pass before I got to the facility. Everything was a breeze from checking in with the volunteer at the front desk, through the process of getting my vitals and making sure I had the requisite level of iron needed to donate. I came in to make a Power Red donation but did not have a high enough number, but I was still able to donate whole blood. The process took about an hour, and you get cookies, water, and cranberry juice to boot. In this season of giving, I implore you to give the gift of life through a blood donation to the American Red Cross, especially if you have a blood type that is rarer than others.
