The "Radar Observation Recertification- Night Course" $245.70 + "Facility Fee" $29.00 was a class that started promptly at 4pm and ended before 8pm depending on the speed of your Radar exam plot completion. Most salty mariners feel at home here and you can stay in their hotel at discounted rates especially if you are taking a class, an additional guest will only cost you $40, so choose the wife wisely, but kids under 12 years of age are not going to incur additional cost. The price is reasonable and includes three square meals that are prepared with care by more than just some galley scum but an actual chef who cares! One of my daughter's tutors actually told her to use the Princeton Review content as it was better than Varsity Tutor content. The Tutors were ambivalent about setting work in between sessions and even about booking next session. In fact, initial tutor had to change schedule that was in conflict with my daughter's sport practices - and we lost 4 hours of tutoring completely. I had been promised additional hours back and a new tutor when I called into customer service but then received an email stating that the hours would not be credited after further review. My daughters score did improve - but I think that was mostly due to her dillegence on practicing the test. Finally, we had signed up for 3 months - but then kept getting charged and was told it is non refundable. Don't buy into the marketing - get your kids in a Princeton Review session or even better a live in person option.

We found a great instructor, so we decided to switch our days and location to follow this instructor only for her hours to change. We take my daughter to class only to find that there was a new instructor. The issue is that no one told me she would have a new instructor after I expressed through email my frustration with the instructor we had and the only reason I didn't cancel previously was because her new instructor was good with kids. My daughters last swim session was a complete horror show, it appeared that the instructor was in training as he was receiving direction from another instructor. I sent them an email to British Swim inquiring about my daughter's initial instructor, at which point they told me her schedule had changed. I reminded them that the only reason my daughter was still attending was because of that instructor. I cancelled and said my child would not be attending her last three classes and asked for a partial refund, and they said no. Save your time and money. My daughter has been going here for about 5 months and she hates the water even more than when she started, she used to love going there and now she doesn't want to go.
