The finished it when I arrived. I was taken back to the room about 1055am. My vitals were taken and I've been sitting in the room ever since. Around 12 noon someone came and apologized and said that the doctor would see me next. Well it's 1230pm and I still have not been seen by a doctor. Crazy thing is the waiting room was completely empty when I arrived. I'm assuming that patients must have been in all the rooms. This is just crazy. I've been waiting so long I might as well just went to the emergency room. I'm pretty hot, pissed and in pain. Wonder what time I'll actually be seen. I'll finish this review after the doctor comes in. Well doctor finally came in at 1235pm and wants to get an X-ray. So let's see how long it will be before that is taken. Ughhh Ok X-ray was taken at 1245pm. Now waiting for them to read it. I got out of there by 1:40. Thank gosh it was only a foot sprain. So I walked away with crutches and a brace. Not so sure if this place will be a first choice in the future considering I made an appointment online and still was here for hours.

I should've read the reviews before I tried this Urgent Care. I'm giving two stars mainly because…read moreeveryone I interacted with was fairly cordial and there was no wait. However, I'm disappointed that the staff here did not listen to my concerns during my visit. I came in with a terrible sore throat and fever which had been going on since the day before. I popped into Urgent Care on Saturday in the hopes of getting prescribed antibiotics - if my primary physician were open, I would've just gone to her but it was the weekend. I knew I must have tonsillitis. I've had it 2-3 times in the past and when you know, you just know. I was seen immediately and ushered into a room by the same person who checked me in. Then he ushered me into another room. He asked me to take my mask off and had three swabs in hand. Thinking he was taking a strep test, I opened my mouth. Nope, Covid test and he put it up my nose. Would've been nice to have some warning or been told what was happening. He took another swap up my nose and then another in my throat. He said someone would be in soon. 30 minutes later another person comes in the room. Was she a nurse, a doctor? I'm not sure, she never introduced herself. She said all my tests came back negative and I asked what tests? Since I was never informed. So I don't have strep, the flu or Covid. I tell her I'm certain it's tonsillitis because I've had it before and I can see from looking at my throat that that's what it is. This person barely looked at my throat (didn't even use a tongue depressor to get a good look) and didn't even touch the lymph nodes on my neck to check for swelling. Didn't even touch my neck at all. She also told me my body aches aren't consistent with tonsillitis. Wrong, my lymph nodes were swollen and causing aches which is a common symptom of tonsillitis. She also told me they don't prescribe antibiotics for tonsillitis. Also wrong, I've been prescribed antibiotics for all the cases of tonsillitis I've had in the past. This is necessary for tonsillitis brought on by a bacterial infection. My condition continued to worsen the following days - unable to eat, drink, swallow, sleep (due to reduced air flow), turn my head, and even talk. I finally saw my ENT that Tuesday and he took one look at my throat and felt my lymph nodes and said yep, this is tonsillitis and prescribed me antibiotics and steroids since the swelling was so bad. He was shocked when I told him the urgent care didn't prescribe me anything or even do any blood tests. Safe to say I will not be returning to this urgent care anytime in the future. They lack communication and listening skills and it's actually very concerning.

Upon going to the office it was discovered that I had some serious unknown spine problems along with known issues. Fast forward Dr. J took VERY good care of me and thru the treatments I received my known issues were corrected and my unknown issues were resolved and I didn't have to have back surgery. To this day after a serious back injury on my job, Dr. Ro picked up where Dr D left off and EVERY time I go for a treatment I get such great relief. And to top it off the service, courtesy and professionalism hasn't changed. I referred a few people and they were happy with the service they received. One of the best decisions I made to go there.

When I finally met with PA Nova, I explained that I was concerned about a possible ear infection. Based on my background in pharmacy school, I mentioned that my symptoms felt consistent with an ear infection, but my concerns were attributed to allergies and I was advised to use allergy medication. Unfortunately, the allergy medication did not relieve my ear pain, and my symptoms continued to worsen over the next two days. Because I was still experiencing significant discomfort without improvement, I decided to seek a second opinion at another urgent care. At that visit, the provider evaluated me, diagnosed an ear infection, and prescribed appropriate treatment. I was also informed that my tympanic membrane had ruptured, which was very concerning given the level of discomfort I had been experiencing. I understand that symptoms can sometimes overlap between conditions, but this experience was disappointing considering the time, cost, and prolonged discomfort involved. I felt that my concerns were not fully addressed during the initial visit, and the delay in receiving appropriate treatment led to additional stress and unnecessary suffering. Based on my experience, I would consider seeking care from a different provider in the future.

After paying my copay in cash, I was informed that I would need to place a credit card on file in order to continue receiving care. I declined to provide a credit card, and as a result, I was discharged and denied medical treatment for refusing to place a credit card on file. No explanation was provided for the requirement to have a credit card on file. Instead, I was asked if I had secondary insurance. The medical personnel who initially assisted me was helpful and attentive, showing care and consideration for my limitations.
