Our children have been patients at two of the "top-rated" pediatricians as we've moved over the years--and this is the only practice where you're truly treated as a person, not just a number. If you're looking for speed and convenience, you can always go to an assembly-line pediatrician. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. That's not care--that's just billing insurance as quickly as possible. Sky Valley is the complete opposite. Here, they take the time to listen, assess thoughtfully, and treat your family like their own.

I am a retired U. Md. RN and my daughter has been an ER nurse for 5 years, so we recognize quality health care. Dr. Kass has been thorough and always responds to my concerns by ordering appropriate tests/treatments. My daughter says Erica Gifford communicates well. She trusts her enough to send her two teen/tween daughters to her. Dr. Haugh did a good job with my urgent care issue and is also the primary provider for my two grandsons, one of whom has a chronic autoimmune disease. It is helpful that labs can be drawn in the office most of the time. The staff has always been pleasant and professional. We highly recommend this practice.

She found later while throwing up that she had a blocked stomach and a bed sore at an emergency room. He continued to refuse to see her and she DIED. They added a lady to their staff at the front office/desk after we switched to this office. She is…read morethe main one that I always have to correspond with when I either call or come in, and she makes me feel uncomfortable. Besides the unprofessionalism, for example, she has hung up the phone on me twice and she also broke the HIPPA laws by providing my son's principal with his personal information. She makes us feel unwanted when we arrive and if I have to ask her for any assistance she blatantly acts as if I am disturbing her. I have asked to speak with the office manager regarding the preaching of the HIPPA Laws and the way she portrays their office as the first face a patient sees or the first voice they hear, but I have only been able to leave a voice-mail or leave a message with the front desk to pass on, and I have never received a respond leaving me to believe they do not care about my concerns. My son suffers from ADHD and Anxiety, and he does not want to switch doctors as change is difficult for him (and me as well) so he tells me he doesn't want to change doctors. I do like the doctor, the nurse Practitioner is awesome and I suggest your go-to. The only other problem we do tend to have often is having them send in my son's medicines refills on time. It is very stressful as he needs them every 30 days, and these are medications that can affect him mentally If he misses even a day.
