I have struggled with insomnia since I was a small child. It takes serious effort for me to fall asleep in my own bed, and I struggle greatly in unfamiliar settings. My first time here, I walked into a room full of strangers, sat in a comfortable chair, was pricked by ten tiny needles, and fell asleep within moments. I woke up nearly an hour later not even realizing that I'd fallen asleep. I had no idea what to expect with acupuncture. A customer of mine recommended it, so when I found a Groupon deal for two sessions for $20 at Edgewater Acupuncture, I thought I'd give it a try. The setting is not what I was expecting, but it really works. It's a large room full of recliners, white noise, gentle ambient music, Himalayan salt lamps, and remarkably relaxed people, usually sleeping. Tell Meaghan what ails you, and you'll surely be feeling better in no time. Give it a chance, the results build with consistent sessions. And this place is great-- friendly staff, and they work with you on pricing. Highly recommend!

Coming here our first time the doctor was very informative patient and thorough. I honestly feel like we were talking to our family member or for me a best friend. She got me she got all my concerns and issues and even though she's a lot younger, she understood my hormone issues. She was not pushy about other services provided, but was helpful when I asked about other things. We will be coming back often as you know acupuncture only works when you are putting in the time and commitment. It's not a one time and you're done. Fortunately, our insurance covers this and all we pay is a copayment. Highly recommend 100%.
