The AC barely works in half the classrooms, and during the winter, you need a coat just to sit through history class. Don't even get me started on the cafeteria--the food is consistently subpar, often cold, and they seem to run out of the decent items halfway through the lunch period, which is already a chaotic, loud mess due to the sheer number of students crammed in there. Academically, it's a total mixed bag. If your student is aiming for AP classes, prepare for huge class sizes where teachers are too overwhelmed to offer real individualized help. For everyone else, the general curriculum feels uninspired and repetitive. There's no push for creativity or critical thinking; it's just textbook reading and busywork. The administration is notoriously unresponsive. Trying to get a hold of someone is like navigating a bureaucracy that doesn't want to be found. They seem more concerned with enforcing arbitrary dress code rules than addressing genuine safety or educational concerns. If you're looking for a vibrant, modern educational experience where students are treated like individuals, look elsewhere. This place desperately needs new infrastructure, new leadership, and a serious re-evaluation of its educational goals.
