I tried on dresses for almost 2 hours and there were still so many options I could've tried. The prices are really good as well. I also loved that she allowed my bridesmaids help me get dresses. We used House of Hines for the Groom's Party at our wedding. When the suits came in, a groomsman's…read moresuit pants were not the correct length. Also, the best man's suit had two different color accessories and the pants did not fit based on the measurements that were done. When the best man went back to pick up the suit, he tried on the pants and they fit. On the day of our wedding, we discovered that the jacket that he previously tried on and was the correct fit, had been switched to a jacket that was way too small. This was discovered less than two hours before our wedding. House of Hines had someone bring the correct jacket to our wedding venue and later refunded the best man. My husband and I reached out to House of Hines because we were extremely displeased and felt that we should have received some sort of refund. Although, the best man was refunded, the bride and groom were the most impacted. The stress, panic, disappointment that we endured, in addition to the wedding photos that were ruined due to one person not having a jacket on were astronomical. I expressed my frustration and was told that there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak with someone in a position to make it right, and was told I was speaking with the correct person. I am very disappointed. We did not have to receive a full or partial refund for the groom, but they should have at least offered us a restaurant gift card or something. We chose House of Hines for our wedding and we were impacted by our best man not having a jacket during our wedding ceremony. Our ceremony pictures will be forever ruined by their error. Any gesture would have been appreciated, but they were unwilling. I will not refer anyone to House of Hines and will warn people not to use them in the future.

She told me that I needed to do a full face of makeup and to do my hair everyday to fit "bridal shop" aesthetic. She didn't let me have any appts for 2 months because one of my brides did not end up buying. We had a meeting and she told me that every customer I've worked with absolutely loves me BUT then turned right around in regards to my evaluation and said to my face that I was "just a warm body." She said that SHE would watch me and determine whether I was worth keeping. I don't believe a business owner should treat people like this. VERY unprofessional.

IF YOU'RE TRYING TO SAVE MONEY ON WEDDING DRESS COST I HIGHLY SUGGEST THIS STORE…read more Just like many brides, I was anxious and stressed about wedding dress prices(because really, it's extremely expensive) and I have a pretty tight budget. I had a recommendation from this place for having cheaper dresses and good quality so I gave a try. The owner was really nice to me when I set my appointment and when I got there she treated me really well in her simple and honest way about the dresses that looked better on me not based on prices. Her dresses are all under $600 and I got mine for $300! I wanted some alterations to do still, but it was still so much worth it!!!! The only thing is that she'll not gonna have a bunch different sizes and quantity for each style because she gets the dresses with better prices only, but to be honest, I couldn't find any other place that would have dresses under $800, so I was really surprised with finding this store!

The owner refused and said she could have them shipped and that they would arrive the night before my wedding. When I said I would rather not have to wait, what if there is an issue, they told me that was the only option if I were to buy from them. I called around to other retailers with the same dress (none of whom had the dress in the right sizes on their rack) and they all were blown away by the lack of customer care that was shown by Elegant Expressions. One of them even went so far as to call the owner and ask her why she wouldn't work with me. The owner of Elegant Expressions called and left me an ugly voicemail telling me that they would never sell me another dress. No worries, I wouldn't buy another thing from this unprofessional establishment.

However, The Sentimentalist called me on October 8th to let me know it arrived at their shop! I was so excited! Since I was out of town, I booked an appointment for October 15th, requesting to be paired with Lauren again if possible. I parked and headed inside for my 12PM appointment. The associate at the counter got me checked in, asked if I wanted anything to drink, and seated me in my room. Soon, I was met by a smiling and sweet Lauren! She had arranged her schedule to make sure she could be there with me today. She guided me to where my gown was hanging and prepped for me, and stood right outside the curtain in case I needed assistance. When I came out and looked in the mirror, I was so pleased. I had brought my veil and shoes with me for the full effect, and Lauren had even kindly boxed my veil up for me and packed it in a nice tote bag, since I had brought it in all wound up inside the shipping bag it had come in in. It's the little things that really mean so much. Lauren, as well as the other stylists who peered around the corner to see me in my dress and offer kind words, made me feel so beautiful. To preface,…read moreI've had my dress for a couple of years and have lost a lot of weight since I originally purchased it. My dress is very intricate, it has 5 separate layers of fabric, beading, lace, appliqué, boning, you name it. I was incredibly nervous about finding a seamstress that would be able to make the needed alterations in 4 months, while keeping the integrity of the dress, and making sure it fit perfectly. I found Hanans through various reviews on Google, Yelp, and my favorite place to get the real reviews, Reddit. People love this woman. And I 1000% know why and couldn't agree more. I'd go to battle for this woman. I think I had around 11 appointments with her total? Which is absurd. She was able to work around my travel-heavy job, addressed every little concern or question I had, and gave me the most perfect dress that I could have ever hoped for. I could not be happier with the end result, we ended up going down quite a few sizes or so from the original and it still looks like the dress I bought, just one that's been custom fitted to me. She is well worth every single penny. GO TO HANANS.
