They left several spots just as they were earlier and when I said it's not clean the lady said "that's all we can do" ! Pathetic customer service. I take absolutely no pleasure in writing this less than glowing review but I feel it is necessary and can possibly help others. I filled out a form on Yelp, specifying my needs for a (deep) cleaning service as soon as possible, as we were expecting guests for a funeral. I had a budget of double what this company was asking for, knew what I needed, and expressed it clearly in writing. What I got in return was very sketchy and unprofessional at best. Frankly, using this company was a last resort for me because of other reviews of them constantly being late and even not showing up. My original appointment was changed to some hours later. This did not bother me so much because of the effort made to communicate clearly. However, that is where any decent communication began and ended. One woman showed up, speaking very little English. After not being able to effectively communicate, I called my friend to translate for me. I'm not sure how people think it is feasible to send someone to do a job when they are not able to communicate. This is very unprofessional. The woman told my friend she was instructed that she was here to clean for 2 hours. This is not what I asked for so I sent a text message to Jair asking if the fee was going to be modified. He said he'd reach out in 25 minutes. An hour later, a pregnant woman showed up, eating food from a container. She smiled but didn't say anything. Confused, I text Jair again, letting him know someone else showed up and asking if he could help me understand what was happening. At this point he called. I asked if the job and fee was being modified because the woman said she was to be there for 2 hours and although the bathrooms were "done", there were still cobwebs and areas missed. I felt like he was gaslighting me as he said, " Do you want them to stop and leave? Maybe the job was bigger than you thought. Deep cleaning is charged by the hour." Deep cleaning is EXACTLY what I asked for! I was more than prepared to pay for it with a nice tip! I didn't feel like arguing with him so I got off the phone. What the ladies cleaned, as in actually touched was fine, however, they missed the entire family room and what they did in some areas was half done. My fridge was done partially, leaving the second drawer and freezer completely untouched, along with the side shelving. Sadly, this is not a company I would recommend, nor will I be using them again which is a shame because this was my first experience with a much needed cleaning service, and I am in the market to continue, but not with this company. Because of the incomplete job that was done, I am in need of another cleaning service to clean what was ignored by this company. read more

I agreed to receiving a refund via Venmo, and he sent the full refund right away. I am happy that I received a refund for the cleaning job, but obviously am still confused on why he was not at the site (and was over 45 minutes or more away). I would recommend clearly reviewing the specifics and terms of any cleaning job you might hire them for. I wouldn't use this service again. The first time I scheduled a cleaning, they were a no-show which was frustrating after getting my apartment ready for them before I was leaving for a trip. A few months later I tried to schedule another one-time cleaning and they were 2 hours late, with very little communication letting me know when/if they'd be arriving. Unfortunately the woman cleaning my apartment didn't speak any English at all so I couldn't communicate some areas and questions I had. The cleaning was fine, but not worth the headache of scheduling and trying to scramble and shift my day around, there are too many other services in the Hoboken area to bother. read more

Just used their services and with only two people, they did an amazing job. Everything was touched. Being a household with small children, it is very difficult to get into the nooks and crannies, but Carrada's Cleaning definitely took care of those areas. Ordered a service via Yelp for 8:00 AM on 06/19/2021 both date and time was suggested by Jair via Yelp. Around 8:00 AM I get a note stating 8:30 AM the cleaner is running late, that 8:30 became 9:00 AM. However the cleaner didn't show up till 9:35 AM stating traffic issues on a Saturday early morning- I declined and cancelled my cleaning altogether. I cannot speak for the service as I cancelled it, but when the cleaner laughed more like mocked at 9:35 on my doorstep I made up my mind. It was very unprofessional and unkind way to lie to someone who is accommodating your time and your availability- more importantly to Jair who is running the business. I dont know for others but my experience was nothing short of horrible. Please contact at your own risk. I dont mind delays but the deception and deceit is something that I will not accommodate Very disrespectful staff. But I do appreciate Jair who was responding to me on Yelp but I feel after a point even he figured the situation could no longer be salvaged and was beyond repair. I've been using Carradas for a year and up until recently their response and quality of work have been wonderful. However it seems time management is an issue as of late because I spoke with Jair earlier this week and confirmed my summers worth of cleaning schedule for a rental property. The crew was supposed to clean this morning, I was notified they'd be late which was fine I was able to work something out with my renters. However late really meant not showing up at all, which left me with an upset renter, and out of money. I was notified by my renter the house was never cleaned and now jair will not return my calls or texts, I would not recommend Carradas to anyone. read more

Do not use. The cleaning itself is fine, nothing to complain about but nothing too great either. However, they are extremely unpunctual and would almost always arrive late. They are unresponsive, usually takes a few messages to get them to answer me. They also LEFT MY APARTMENT DOOR WIDE OPEN WITH MY DOG INSIDE, and said nothing to me about it. I hired Carrada's for a move-out clean and they were very flexible and accommodating right from the start. Even though I reached out to them last minute on a Friday, they were able to come in at my requested date/time on the following Monday. On the day of, I even requested them to come in early since my move-out was going ahead of schedule, and they accommodated no problem. They brought all of their own supplies, the cleaning lady arrived with a face covering, and the deep clean took about 2 hours (for a 1 br/1ba apartment). I moved into a new home and had reached out to Lissy's Maids to do the move in clean. They were SO responsive and it was incredibly easy to set up and appointment. I explained that this was a move in clean and that I wanted a deep clean for this house before moving my furniture and my kids into the home. I was assured that for a flat rate of $400, the team would come in and stay until the job was done. The other reviews of the company were so positive, which is why I had chosen to use them. I expected competent people to show up and to really deep clean my house. Two women arrived on time the day of my appointment. They were more interested in chatting with each other than cleaning the house. They did not vacuum anything and my house is all wood floors. They did wash the floors, but I believe it was just with water....and you are not supposed to use water on a wood floor. They did not have a Swiffer, or a broom, or the usual, expected cleaning tools with them. An hour into the job, a third person joined the team. I thought for sure these three would be focused and bang out the job well. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. The women were visibly annoyed when I pointed out areas that I would like to be cleaner (ie, clumps of dust, removing spider webs, wiping down the cabinets etc.) Before they left, I showed them the areas in the house that I didn't feel were clean enough, and they just seemed frustrated because they had to get to another job. I felt that for $400, my house was not cleaned to the caliber that I had expected. I was very disappointed with this company and will not use them nor recommend them to others. read more

I do not recommend using them. I paid extra to have my laundry done. It was left in my washer and dryer. They finished cleaning, and left. They took pictures and videos of both my home and office, and posted them online without my authorization. I gave them specific directions about the garbage. They did what was convenient for them, and I got a $250 fine from my association. They decided that my shoe boxes were in the way, so they threw them away. They also threw away the authentication cards and receipts that were in them. They shoved my clothes and anything else into my drawers. I texted advising not to cash the check due to the money their negligence and laziness caused me. They cashed it anyway, and refuse to respond. I was patient with them and gave them another chance, which is when they caused me more damage. read more
