I knew that New York apartments tend to accumulate prior tenants' lives, grime, grease, pet hair, and layers of dust, and that landlords don't deep clean the way I would my own home. I found Patrick through his rave reviews on Yelp, and after a quick call discussing the size of my apartment and its condition, Patrick was able to book me the next day on a busy Saturday. Patrick and Alex spent 7 hours without break deep cleaning every inch of my home, including shelving, cabinets, vents, electric outlets, walls, ceilings, baseboards, and those cleaned-once-in-a-lifetime nooks and crannies. It was the kind of superb detailing work that truly takes 2 professionals the whole day, and I could have never done it on my own in even a week because I would just give up. They brought new cleaning supplies, fresh smelling non-toxic detergent, a powerful vaccum cleaner, and all the equipment needed to reach all those nooks and crannies. At the end of their job, I felt I could finally relax into my new home, and everything was sparkling and new. I went to stay with family while the work was being done, knowing full well I'd be coming home to a major mess I wasn't prepared to deal with. Patrick to the rescue! I called him while the work was being done. He told me to let him know as soon as the work was completed, and he'd be happy to do a walkthrough for me and squeeze me in so I could get home ASAP. He went to my apartment with his assistant and filmed the walkthrough and sent me the videos. It wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be, but it was still a job that would be too much for me to handle on my own. I knew if I hired Patrick, I could just walk back into my apartment as though nothing had happened. And that is EXACTLY what happened! He spent 1 full day and a morning cleaning the place from top to bottom. Everything was put back precisely according to pictures. I had done a lot of covering of closets, etc., because I was scared my building wouldn't do an adequate job. We had left it that he would check whether or not the inside of closets or cabinets needed to be done once he started the job. I had to book a two-hour window (8-10am) and I asked if I needed to wait the entire time for someone. Someone replied and said that I would receive a 30 minute notice before the cleaner arrive (so I still would have had to wait two hours either way?) I replied to that email and asked about a specific time frame and received no response. The next day, the day of my service, I did not receive a 30 minute advanced notice, she just showed up at my door at 8:30am. She did not come with any supplies as the website stated. She only dusted the tops of furniture and did not wipe anything down. She didn't put anything back in its place and I had to go through my apartment and put things away where they belonged after she left. Even organizing things would have been helpful. I specifically asked that she lift the rug in my bedroom to mop the floor underneath and she said she would. When I got home, I checked and this wasn't done. She furiously grabbed the mop and did it quickly in a hurry, while speaking on the phone. A few days later, I received a text message to my personal phone saying that I had a balance due but with no instructions on how to pay it until I asked. Not a single email communication with them stated how I pay for the service. I asked how to pay it was and I was sent a Venmo image and that's it. I replied TWICE to the text message requesting the information over email and have yet to receive a response from anyone. I don't know what experience everyone else had, but mine was terrible and I will never use this service again.

The oven still had oil residue, the fridge and cabinets were dirty, baseboards were dusty, windows had cobwebs, and even the dishwasher and microwave exterior were dirty. Kitchen counters still had brown residue that came off when wiped. Bathrooms were not deep-scrubbed at all, there was still visible grime and rust inside the cabinets. There was no communication from the company when the cleaner arrived or left, no photos of the work, and no follow-up... just a charge for a service that clearly wasn't delivered. We reached out multiple times requesting a refund. This experience left us feeling taken advantage of during an already stressful move. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

I am currently in the process of resolving it with them. However, I sent them a photo of the floor warped and the owner said, "that doesn't prove anything." I find this response unacceptable. She was here, she saw the floor not warped. It is now warped. I am sending them additional photos and a photo of the floor prior to cleaning tomorrow but this is so depressing. I am really upset and hoping this company will resolve this with us. Mandy and another cleaner took a filthy, grimy, dust and dirt covered apartment that had not been lived in for over a year and had been used as a wood shop and made it shine and sparkle. The appliances look brand new now. They deep-washed the floors so that all the dirt and grim is gone. They did a great job and I'm planning to hire Eco-Friendly Cleaning to clean our living space.
